Had a good time here, place got really busy quickly with some awkward customers who lack any self awareness. Also the staff were unpleasant and lacked common sense to say the least. Nonetheless the food was good and prices a tad bit expensive.

A large group of 9 of us walked in on a busy Sunday. We were seated straight away and tables were cleaned almost immediately. Food was served promptly piping hot and we left satisfied. The people waiting tables are incredibly friendly and kept us informed every step of the way. Would recommend this branch to others

The young gentleman offered us the custard tart on the house for the delay which was appreciated.

Food was good, but i find I’m not blown away by Nandos anymore, the sauces are never as hot as advertised.

The same young man was yelled at by a customer for delayed service, and he took it well - the customer was a little unfair with his approach.

Good experience, nice chips and chicken. I ordered medium spicy, because I cannot eat that spicy foods, and it turns out this level is suitable for me, fortunately!! I love butter with corn.

Visited today and have to mention the negatives. Took over 40 minutes for me to get my food all I ordered was loaded fries. In the end I asked someone what’s going on with my food, 10 minutes later it came I genuinely believe  they forgot about my food and if I didn’t say anything I would been waiting a lot longer.

I can see the negative reviews and looks like I’m not the one who has had this problem!

Nice and healthy I would say.. basic chicken. Better ask with with BBQ sauce. Then they bring chicken dipped in that’s such. Looks and taste better. Quite cheap.

Quite good chicken with interesting sauce, fast. Funny ordering system, you scan qr at the table and choose food in the app. The place can get very loud.

Friendly staff, ordered for take away. The garlic bread was amazing as well as the corn. I’m always taking the spiciest option - the chicken breast was extremely spicy but really tasty!

Saw this place on social media and thought I'll give it a go. Had a craving for a meaty burger.
I got the big smac and my husband got the pastrami.
Both burgers were delicious.
Pastrami one has that salty meaty taste.
We also got fries but I wouldn't bother next time, not worth the price.

Had the Pastrami Burger and Mashed potatoes. It was pretty good. So it's basically beef patty topped with Pastrami. Interesting combo, but works.

So you fancy something different, something special, an explosion of flavours? Bun & Sum is a place tucked away in Bow, in an Industrial Estate. There is outdoor seating for 24 people on four park benchs. This place was BUSY, so leave plenty of time. Walking distance from Bow Underground Station and Bow Church Overground. If you arrive by car, then you can park on the pavements while you enjoy your food.

The food, the drinks, the menu are different. The flavours are incredible. The price is just above what we are all used to, but it is worth it 100%. I went for the Pastrami burger. I saw a famous food reviewer from Birmingham visiting, not to review but simply to eat.

The burger was delicious, soft juicy and tasty.  I was a little disappointed with the drip fries as it didn’t taste any different from all the other places. 30 minute wait for the food as it’s so popular.

Was greeted at the door and seated quickly. Ordered at the till. Food was cooked and served to the table within 25 minutes. I had chicken thighs with a couple of sides. All tasted great. My only criticism was that the portion of chips was on the small side. Staff were polite and helpful. Toilets were clean to a good standard.

The manager “Riz” doesn’t have any respect and is clearly racist! They take their own people before everyone else. We tried to argue about it and the rude skin headed manager told us to not come considering it’s our local. Whenever we attend, we never have any issues. I’ve only ever experienced issues with this fella, last time he told us the wait was 45-60 minutes but we agreed and we were called within 3 minutes (not sure why he was turning anyone that wasn’t of Asian ethnicity away). A young lady named Mari tried to get involved in his defence and without trying to hear us out or ask us what the problem is, she automatically told us to leave also. Will make a complaint directly to Nando’s and hope he faces some serious consequences cause it’s just not nice or on. My wife is pregnant and we also had a 1 year old with us, told to wait whilst everyone else were being offered seats!

Me and my wife have enjoyed eating at Nandos for many years and we tend to order the 4 thighs and mash. So we're accustomed to the portion sizes. First time visiting the Goodmayes branch on 15/02/23 and we ordered the same. We were suprised by the smaller portion from this branch. We're usually full by the end of our meal, but we were left hungry and had to buy elsewhere.

I thought it was just in my head, but the diners either side of me made the same comments. If this is a change from Nandos, then this is a shame. Either this or the branch is trying to shave portions for margins.

I was served by Dani, whose service was fantastic. I questioned the portion size with Dani and he gave me a fair response and I respect him for the way he spoke to me.

He called his Manager over and that was a different experience altogether. We were told his name is Luis. As he came over, without a greeting, he just hovered over us and stared at us intimidatingly and did not say a word. Acting oblivious to the issue I've raised, there was an awkward silence until I started talking. Completely lacked professionalism and empathy. Regardless of whether it was his fault or the brand's fault for the change in portion size, I accepted the response I had from Dani. Luis could definitely benefit from customer service training from either an accredited course or from Dani.

Quality food today.  Very friendly staff, especially Rima was amazing. She made us sit down, brought selection of dips for my take away order. Thank you will visit again soon.

Very nice cosy little place.

What I liked about this place the menu is very small, so helps you decide quicker.

Ordered all the starters smash burger with fries.

I’m not a big fan of bone marrows but gave it a try, wasn’t anything special.

Wings, although slightly on the salty side it was nice had the smoky flavour to it. Tacos were great to.

Smash burger was delicious, dripping in juice! It is fairly expensive £15 just for the burger but it’s worth it.

Overall definitely recommend Karv, nice friendly atmosphere, staff were great.

The Beef tacos weren’t the best. Was served in whole meal tacos and smothered in sauce. There was so much sauce you couldn’t taste the beef. Texture of the beef was tender. Wouldn’t order again.

The spiced chicken wings had a charred taste which I didn’t mind but couldn’t taste any spice. Wouldn’t order again.

The steak was the best part of the meal. Cooked perfect and was tasty. Shame it doesn’t come with peppercorn sauce, it only came with the choice of mushroom sauce or vegetable gravy. The vegetables it was served with was delicious and can’t fault it.

Would I come back again? Yes but only when the main chef is working. When I went he wasn’t around. And I’ll try the Smash burger also.

There’s only one dessert on the menu so would be nice if there was a second or even a third.

This place is awesome. The bone marrow is just excellent. The smash burger is nice. The chicken has lots of flavor and is very tender. Super busy but the staff were amazing in their service and help. Highly recommended

This is a lovely little restaurant.

We were invited to @andysburgers_uk to try out their food and as soon as we stepped in we got a five guys vibe- a modern looking burger joint with an almost limitless customisation of your burger.

First and foremost, credit where credit is due, they make everything in house! And this is truly amazing when you see the vast array of toppings options they have- there is something for everyone. The chance of having a great burger is really at your own finger tips as you make it what you want it to be. 
We got the chicken burger with lettuce, truffle mayo, fried mushrooms and cheese, which turned out to be an epic combo! And also got the double beef burger with tobacco onions, fried onions, special sauce and mayo! We weren’t too fond of the beef burger but this may just be a personal preference as we prefer smashed burgers or full on gourmet burgers rather than an in between, definitely felt that the chicken fillet in the chicken burger edged it. We also tried their hand cut fries which were just the perfect compliment with the burgers.

Another unique thing about this place is that they offer some great drink flavours that are exclusive to them. We were lucky enough to try a special mix by the manager there called Nathan, which boasted some exotic flavours 🍍🥭🍓 Overall, definitely a great burger spot where we will be returning for sure; next time to try the cod fish burger 😋! Food: 8/10

Massive thank you to @andysburgers_uk for gifting me this amazing cod burger meal to try a while ago. I was invited to the kitchen to watch my meal being prepared and was run through how everything is freshly made including the cheese and tartare sauce. Andy’s Burgers- Mile End

Okay so I’m sure a lot of you have seen me post about Andy’s from when they kinda first opened & all that but I haven’t been in a long time, I happened to be in the area for work stuff & thought I’d grab a quick lunch from there.

My toppings were as follows: Cheese (obviously, they make in-house too), jalapeños, piquante peppers, tobacco onions & truffle Mayo.

Side I got the loaded fries which comes with beef bacon which I believe they make in-house as well now, tobacco onions, cheese, jalapeños & chipotle Mayo.

Loaded fries were bloody amazing btw, for me I couldn’t find a fault with it.

Burger wasn’t the same as I remember as the patties were slightly over cooked, but then again it was super busy even at lunch time, but thankfully the toppings I had saved it & that cheese is just ridiculously creamy honestly.

What toppings do you guys normally get from here?

Wow wow wow!! The fried chicken burger was definitely bangin 😍👌🏽 You can add unlimited toppings/sauces with lots to choose from. The standard chips that come with the meals were seasoned well, and had a nice crisp to them. I’ve enjoyed it more than the cheesy chips. The service was outstanding. Great, friendly staff. Honestly, a must go to place for a tantalising burger!!

Was really looking forward to visiting this spot over the past year. A lot of hype, just never made it down. Just another one of those Instagram fake hyped, paid for customers burger spots. I rarely do reviews, but have a look at this disgusting oil fried chicken they served my child. Asked for a fish burger, not available...special sauce, not available. Even there drinks where disgusting. Canned water fir 2.50! Tap water tasted off, so really had no choice.
Happily serving children, this 1 star place and servers have definitely lost its ambition. Don't think this place will or should last much longer. You guys need to wash your face with ice water and fix up. ✌️

This place was a gem after a long day out in Central London. It is halal. And the food tastes amazing. That's before even mentioning the monster size portion. The burger was so large I thought I'd have lock-jaw. Fries portion were generous and the I had a milkshake which was another giant. I had to unbutton my trousers top button to avoid it popping. I'm not sure if the place is new, so space/seating is limited. Staff were lovely.

Food: delicious chips, the burger was tasty but what ruined it was the cheese. It was more like a sauce, and not good at all. I love how customisable it is.

Service: outstanding. The cashier was super friendly, patient and kind (a guy in front of me turned quickly and bumped into my baby's buggy) so the cashier asked me if I was ok and brought the order to my table, plus held the door open for me on the way out.

I'll come back and order a burger without cheese :)

We came here when we were stranded without a place to stay. Upset and lost we spoke to  Nathan. He was an absolute legend. He was the nicest bloke we had ever met, having been in London for less than a week.
I would recommend highly, food was excellent and they were so so kind and welcoming. ❤️❤️

We are HMC approved. This means our entire menu and supply-chain is certified Halal according to HMC standards. No traces of pork or alcohol in the store.

I took my Mrs to Camden on a day trip to see the famous market and stalls and visited this little gem after seeing loads of videos of it on social media. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. I ordered the 2 x the steak loaded chips one spicy and one not and boy did they hit the spot. Portion size was great, taste was great, service from the young lady was great
All in all a great experience visiting this place.

I tried the rib eye steak sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I had in London. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sandwich felt very light. The lady behind the counter was polite and kind enough to cut my sandwich into half when asked for it. Overall one of the must try places in Camden market.

The freshly made ribeye steak sandwich was finger licking good.

Reasonably priced sandwich was packed with generous amount of great quality meat.

Friendly staff and quirky interior were the cherry on top!

If you’re around Camden, pay them a visit and thank me later 👋

The stall was very busy when I visited, but my food was ready within a few minutes.

Slims chicken is known for their fresh crispy chicken & their wide range of sauces from ranch to blue cheese & to buffalo sauce.

The chicken was crispy, tender and cooked to perfection😍 we ordered two burgers, chicken tenders, wings and a wrap. The portion sizes were decent and filling. This is a cute lunch spot.

I visited Slim Chicken on Saturday. It was crowded with customers. However, we manage to get a seat to dine in. Non-veg served here is halaal. We ordered mix & match 5 & 5 Meal. The slim tenders & wings were crunchy and tasty. However, I found a few tender pieces were not cooked properly. I didn't expect this from Slim Chicken. Crowded customers would be the reason for this to serve faster. Otherwise, everything was good.

They have dine-in and takeaway options as well. They have Tender chicken, Sandwiches, Wings, Salads & Wraps, Sides, and Shakes. Meals are served with Texas toast, seasoned fries, house sauces & a bottomless soda.

A decent place for a quick and tasty lunch if you avoid the peak lunch period and don't want to spend too long there as it seems to be full of kids most of the time so can get a bit noisy. The chicken tenders tasted fresh and was cooked really well (not dry) as were the fries. The seasoning on the chicken can be a tad salty at times so the sauces are a must. Ordering through the kiosk machines was easy and pretty quick, I like the idea of taking a table number and scanning it to your order if you're dining in. Portion sizes are ok for the money you're paying and slightly better than other eateries in the area.

Not the greatest of places I have visited to eat. Not the cleanest either, the toilets were vile oh my daze 🤢

The food wasn't too bad but could be better! Not impressed with the service either as the ladies at the till were not the most efficient I have come across.

I enjoyed the inferno sauce though that came with the it.

The bottomless drink station only had 2choices out of the 5 so wasn't really much to offer.

Great location though, walking distance from Selfridge's and the Selfridge's carpark closes at 10pm so beware! There are other eating outlets available along the road.

As I was in Central London, I decided to continue my search for the best fried chicken possible.

My first impression of Slim Chickens was good - it was busy, with a nice style to the decorations, resembling a 1950s American diner. All the chicken is Halal. Unlike many other chicken eateries, they still have table service rather than the Bluetooth pagers that buzz when your food is ready, which felt nice and a bit old-fashioned. The wait for the food after the drink had arrived was a long one, however.

As always, I order a chicken burger meal with three wings - however, they had run out of wings (it wasn't even the end of the day). I substituted a popcorn flavoured milkshake as a drink instead of the bottomless soft drink that is the default, for an extra two pounds. This was an excellent decision as the milkshake was very good, if a little too sweet.

The staff member was evidently new, and took a great deal of time to work out how to use the till, with no one to help her. What was meant to be a fast, slick operation really wasn't.

Let's get down to the burger - very good in many ways: the brioche bun is superior to normal bread buns in every way - it has more of a dense, bagel-like texture that isn't as fluffy as the bread buns. The chicken had been fried perfectly to a rich brown colour (so many places slightly under fry) , and the spices in the coating were delicious - BUT...

The burger was the size of half a piece of chicken, let alone an actual fillet! (See picture) for a burger that is priced at £6.50, I really did feel short-changed; it was over in a couple of mouthfuls. Very good quality but tiny.

The chips were good enough rather than delicious - warm and less than crisp, and not very plentiful. Overall, with three chicken wings a burger meal would have been £14 with the standard bottomless soft drink, which makes it cost roughly twice what KFC charges at the moment. It's slightly cheaper than other high end chicken diners though.

The size of the burger and the wait for the food (20 minutes) are my only criticisms. I love that they have hand-spun milkshakes - it seems that many chicken restaurants only have soft drinks, and I like a shake with my burger, so they get positive marks there.

If you like good quality chicken, great place only downside is portions are small, staff do not greet customers with a smile and the orders can be mixed (was in my case).

It’s also priced on the high end of what you expect to pay for fried chicken. Customer service needs improving that’s all.

Simply Smashed - Quality Smash Burgers

This joint satisfies all cravings. From a brilliant array of smash burgers to a superb chicken thigh burger. The wings and the fries are perfection with a variety of flavours available to choose from. This place also hosts one of the best tiramisu’s in London. It’s got everything!

The customer service is amazing here. The owner is really welcoming and looks after you as a customer. I definitely recommend this place to anyone craving a top tier burger.

This is literally my go-to place for beautiful burgers, chips and wings. Whether it’s the angus beef, wagyu beef or chicken burger, you can simply never ever go wrong at Simply Smashed.

The staff are forever hospitable and it’s a very relaxed vibe if you want to eat in. Whether you’re meeting up with a group of friends or even taking your partner, this is the place to relax, have great conversations and eat the best burgers you’ll ever have!

Simply the best burgers in the local area (Stepney Green/Mile end). So glad to have a place that doesn’t have dead, tasteless burgers. The meat in the smashed burgers is moist and juicy, I love the amount of sauce/cheese used (if you don’t like a saucy burger this may not be for you). I enjoy watching the sauciness drip from my burger whilst fireworks go off in my mouth from every mouthwatering bite. The chips however are a hit or a miss, not always satisfied with these but due to the great burgers I’ll keep coming back.

Food comes in a sturdy, recyclable box. Restaurant is inside a plant store, amazing unintentional aesthetics. The sauce sachets that come with the food needs to be changed as they do not compliment the meal at all, basic ketchup would be a better choice.

I went in with a couple brothers and my expectation at first from looking at the location was not all that but I was surprised Alhamdulillah. First we had to scan the qr code on entry to look at the menu. And the options were amazing with the prices were decently ranges out. We ordered two mixed platter for two. The Double Smashed Burgers was the best HMC burger I have had in a while. I would give the burger an 8/10 but that's just me if anything I should have added the chili sauce to overall boost the flavour but that's on my side. The chips I would give a 8.5 out of 10 it's just the and tastes overall peri peri powder tasted really nice. And the Dynamite wings tasted really spot on I just felt as though I should have used more sauces to experiment with I would give it a 8/10. The
TIRAMISU was a 10/10 I have never had one as good as this Alhamdulillah. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos of it since I was just hungry. But everything was just on point with it. The customer service was a 9/10 and the overall experience was a 10/10. Everything was made fresh and it wasn't much of a wait considering the also had to make takeaways.

The best halal wagyu burgers I've had. They are so juicy.  The wings are to die for. Simply smashed have simply outdone themselves and it's no wonder I'm a frequent returning customer. Immensely pleased

Compared to other burger places, this place is more on the pricey end.

It is really nicely decorated, and is a nice place to go to for a date or a nice evening out.

They accommodate couples to large groups with plenty of seating all around.

Waitress and staff are really friendly and polite.

Food overall was nice, however the Philly cheese steak baguette meat was slightly too chewy and stringy, like it had too much fat to meat ratio. For what you pay, I would of expected a bit more quality

On the plus side, the sides were a lot bigger than expected.

Got a cheese chicken burger and sweet potato fries. It was really nice. Good portion size (the burger is really filling) so FYI worth going a little light on starters.

My critique about the burger is the bun size is quite small conpared to the size of the chicken,  so ideally they need to increase their bun size).

Also it felt a little bit cold inside (maybe they left the AC on in error).

Other than that, service was good and the facilities seem good.

Was good all round meal for a family birthday, we all ordered a burger meal each and had to take half of it home as together with all the starters, it was too much food, which is not a bad thing. Everyone enjoyed the nachos and wings, they did not have any shrimp which was disappointing. They charge for service which we paid but it was not exactly great as the drinks were served very late, almost after the starters were finished. Overall it was a good experience and the kids enjoyed it.

The food was great and the service was quick (maybe a bit too quick).  I thought portion sizes were decent too. The Strawberry Daiquiri was  a 10/10! Red Iron has an interesting interior design - nightclub vibe. Would recommend it if you're in the Uxbridge area.

So about 2 months ago got invited by Boxpark in Wembley for the iftar event they held & of course I was gonna go to nanny bills to break fast there seeing as the vinegar yard one is always so so good 😰

I got the yard burger, truffle fries & brisket croquettes.

This time I didn’t forget the gravy! Okay so the fries were unfortunately very over cooked & were rock hard so unfortunately I had stop eating them after a few fries, I tried because fasting for so many hours & I didn’t want to go back down & wait again as it was crazy busy. However the croquettes were flipping sensational, dipped in that sauce & ofc the gravy too, 10/10 EASILY, I could have had 20 of them tbh it was that good.

The yard burger was slightly under seasoned & tad over cooked but dipping in the gravy saved it & honestly I think it’s fair to say it may be the best gravy I’ve had to date, 1000x better than the KFC gravy hands down.

Was good to see the other bloggers there too & it was a good evening! Hopefully many more to come 🙌

First time and I loved it, I got the Caesar and the hot mess and both were great I would lean a little more to the Caesar but both were so good. The aggy were fries were amazing but I felt the regular fries were a bit too salty which was a shame. I really wanted to try the gravy but unfortunately don’t eat beef but it did look good so I’ll have to live through those who get it! I do wish they would swap some of the beef burgers for a chicken version like most burger places do but maybe that’s one for the future.

The food was great, had the Hot Mess (Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Smoked Bacon, American Cheese, Hot Sauce) and Aggy fries (Rosemary Salt Fries, Garlic Buttermilk Mayo, Franks Hot Sauce, Parmesan & Spring Onion) and both were stella. Can’t fault the food.

The customer service however was appalling. I waited half an hour, went and spoke to them because that’s quite a long time, people after me were collecting their food, they told me they’d ran out of chicken and they forgot to tell me. They tried to refund me but I wanted to order something else and then they said they could make it?? So I waited another 15 minutes to be served.

There’s so many options in BoxPark.

Instagram and TikTok videos brought me here. I was significantly disappointed with the flavour in the burger. The fries were average at best and the gravy pot was very small. Don’t get food recommendations from social media. The mandem have been cooking me for hours because of the disappointing £17 meal.

Fantastic burger. First time visit, double bacon + cheese pictured. Bit expensive just for the burger (£11.50 at time of review) with no sides, but arguably worth it for the taste.

Nice spot inside box park. The chicken burger was really juicy and had a good batter texture. The beef burger was also juicy and had great flavour. The Aggy fries were really saucey which I don't mind but it can be too much for some. The sriracha sauce did leave my mouth dry so a drink is essential. The croquettes were the only disappointing thing which I didn't enjoy. Not worth the price and were pretty average.

Our chicken and beef is Halal. We do use pork bacon however it’s cooked and stored separately.

Nanny Bills- Vinegar Yard

Managed to go nanny bills again after ages & tried out truffle fries, brisket croquette, chicken strips and a new addition which wasn’t there before which is called the yard burger, so the patty is made of rib cap & they include brisket added to it as well. 

Breakdown: 

Strips: 5/10 

These were okay but chicken was dry for me or maybe but also not enough sauce on top of it either 

Truffle fries: 10/10 

Couldn’t fault these, I love truffle as it is & it comes drizzled with truffle Mayo & Parmesan on top too I think if I remember correctly, nice crispy fries too & wasn’t greasy either!

The yard burger: 9/10 

Amazing, only issue for me was that it was more bread than meat so it did taste bready for me but I reckon it could have done with another patty, but regardless the flavour was just on point, very well seasoned too. 

If I remembered to get the gravy then I probs would have not been as bothered how thicc the bread was as I could have just dunked it in that but I’m defo coming back for another round soon! 

Overall: 

Food: 9/10 (avoid chicken strips) 
Service was just normal? Annoying because it’s all online & I prefer the old fashioned way, and then I had issues with the website to order food as I couldn’t remember login details & when I did I had to select all my stuff again which was annoying, it could have been avoided if I was I dunno able to have an actual staff member take my order or I go up & order myself. 

Everything is halal minus the bacon & they do have their halal cert from supplier next to the till so you’ll be able to see for yourself too.

A delightful find in the Vinegar yard! Amazing burgers ! Juicy patties, beautiful brisket, a perfect blend of the sauces and all the flavors went well together! yummm croquettes!! I'd say mac and cheese were better than brisket but maybe coz I was overloaded on meat ! But loved every bit of it ! The staff was helpful ! They confirmed that all their meat is halal and you gotta tell them to not put bacon if in the burger. Will be back for more soon !!

We came along the Yard by chance while exploring London. It wasn‘t crowded at all, and so we went in.

It took only some minutes to get the burger and fries served. Its a bit on the pricy side , but still worth it. The Burger was awesome and so were the fries!
Its also close to the train station so its super convenient to reach  :D

Ridiculously good. If you want a burger, this is the place to come. Don't skip the beef shin croquettes either, they were just as good as the burger. If Vinegar Yard is busy and you can't be bothered queuing you can sit down by Tower Bridge and just order on Uber Eats

The food is absolutely delicious and the service is wonderful. We’ve only been in London a few days and have eaten at the brick lane establishment twice. The burgers are amazing, the pizza is delicious, and the sushi is fantastic! It’s a great halal restaurant that serves all. The service is quick and always comes with a smile. The absolute BEST restaurant!!

Band of Burgers on Brick Lane is by far my favorite gourmet burger in London! It serves a wide variety of food which ranges from  burgers, pizza, sushi that are all delicious and original. The customer service was great. Great atmosphere with great music.. Definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really want this to be thee ultimate burger place for me as I've heard very good things about BOB, however after ordering the "Wagyu this way" burger I wasn't super impressed, even though the juiciness was there, it lacked flavour and that was disappointing, my husband had the Elvis burger which he said was average and a little salt on the patty wouldn't go amiss. The meal Portions are a very good size though. Kids loved the chicken nuggets (not your average frozen nuggets) and sweet treats! That was a nice touch. I think I will give this place another try as I believe they have potential, we ordered online for delivery but would like the experience of dining in. Hopefully I'll update this review once we've tried it again.

I loved the food here. It was absolutely one of the nicest burgers I have had. The fries were amazing for fresh cut fries. The services can be a little slow but definitely worth it.

Went in for the Sushi bar which i did not know was not part of BOB, as kids were hungry I just ordered in at BOB. The food was very fresh and the portions were big. Went in after  lunchtime on a Sunday and it was not that busy.

I have been here many times with my family and the customer service is brilliant every single time. They are buggy friendly which helps with a newborn. The food quality is without a doubt the most delicious food and outstanding quality in meat. The owners have worked in Guanabana before and definitely have knowledge in their cooking. Their deserts and mojitos are so moreish you will always feel the urge to go back! Literally, everything tastes yum - yet to find a fault.

Amazing Halal Caribbean cuisine. Food Quality was amazing. Very friendly service and very hospitable. The jerk prawns was amazing as a starter and jerk Mixed grill was lovely We got complementary dessert which was really nice. All round amazing food

The quality of food at Slice of Meat is unmatched. You can taste the fresh ingredients and the attention to detail given to the flavours. It was very unique.

The lamb chops were tender and the doner was well balanced in flavour and not at all overpowering.
The mojito was refreshing and really went well with our meal.

The customer service here is amazing too. They make you feel at home and they are really helpful with recommendations. You can tell that they are not trying to sell, they are just passionate about their food and want to share that with everybody.

I would highly, highly recommend everyone to give Slice of Meat a try, you will not have any regrets, except that you didn’t go sooner!

The smell, the flavours and taste. All great and has a Bengali twist on authentic Caribbean dishes. No extra sauces are needed because the marinade is just that good. I had to ask for extra bread to mop up that beautiful sauce its served with.

Amazing halal food! Great mix of spice and flavours. Portion sizes are generous. Their pulled beef was on point. Bilog ice cream for dessert was really good. On top of that, customer service was amazing, staff were amazing. Will be coming again to try their ribs and for brunch too.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK)

Ok so really.. first time trying this chain. Cheap buns, cheap fries, cheap cheese, the waiter asked me how I want my patty I said medium-rare and I got it well done. They forgot to serve me water while all the tables around me had.

I got the panko classic chicken burger and the patty was fried to perfection. Super crispy and goes very well with their homemade sauce🤩 Portion was just nice, I was very full by the time I was done. The onion rings were great too and staff were very friendly. One of the better burgers I’ve had during my stay here. Do come tryif you’re in the area!

Does the job if you're looking for a quick meal. Burger was very filling.  The onion rings were good, and I must say that the milkshakes are also really nice.

Food was excellent and the choice of options on the menu is nice and broad considering a lot of us can eat halal meat only.

Good burgers, well made milk shakes. I like their Belgian chocolate ( also called double chocolate) milkshakes and Oreo milkshake. Nice and thick. I've gone in there a few times just for the shakes. Also impressed with their skinny fries.

They used to do a jackfruit burger which was brilliant, i wish it was brought back into their offering. Easily accessible by public transport - both bus and tube. Also close to the ferry. However the place is a bit smaller and tables are closely crammed. Slightly less exciting than the other GBKs

The beef, lamb and venison are not Halal. The chicken used for burgers is from a Halal supplier and is cooked in a separate fryer using rapeseed oil to prevent any cross-contamination. Any grilled chicken on the menu (eg. salads) is cooked on the same grill as bacon and therefore not suitable for a Halal diet due to cross-contamination.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen

It's a great place to try Burgers. I tried the no meat burger and it was pretty good. It did seem a tad small for such a top rate. The flavour was nice and so was the presentation.

Their shakes are monstrous and it literally comes in  huge metal tumblers. The place was well lit and had very clean washrooms. The service was ok and the staff was pretty responsive. Order and payment through apps only.

I must commend the great customer service that I received throughout my meal. However, the quality of the food was completely average. The Sweet potato fries & the Taxi Driver burger both lacked flavour and the portion sizes were quite small. The passion fruit & vanilla drink was sensational & would definitely recommend. Ultimately, I’m a bit disappointed & should’ve just went to Five Guys nearby.

I tried these burgers for the first time and wow!!!  I couldn't believe how juicy and delicious they were!  You guys really should go try them out! The environment is nice and the staff is friendly. 100% recommended!

I got the satay chicken burger which was good but the meat was quite dry. The onion rings and milkshakes were amazing and are worth the price but I wouldn't say the same for the burger. Overall the meal was very good and left us feeling full.

We come here at least once a month and we love it! The mighty is my favorite. It has everything you want from a burger! The size, patties! Also, as I always care: I like the vibe of the restaurant. Staff are friendly as well. They have a very convenient app that allows you to order and gives you free hamburgers when you eat 6 times

The chicken used for burgers is Halal and is cooked in 100% rapeseed oil in a fryer specified for chicken only, however the grilled chicken used for salads and kebabs are cooked on the same grill as the bacon. The beef, lamb, and venison are not Halal. GBK does not offer Halal Grilled Chicken as an option.

Came before a concert, there wasn’t much of a queue but it was quite busy inside. You can order via your phone which was handy, the food was pretty good, can’t complain really. Nice if you fancy a burger or if you’re looking for somewhere to eat before a concert.

Came here Saturday evening before a concert, there was not much of a wait at the door despite how busy it was. We were asked of we had any allergies at the door and then shown to a table and explained how the ordering process works. You have to order at the till and then the orders are brought to the table. Staff aren't the happiest, minus the guy who brought our drinks over who seemed fairly happy compared to the others. You get to chose how the beef burgers were cooked, both of us opted for medium and were cooked perfectly, tasted great too but not the biggest. The burgers do not come with fries so these have to be ordered separately so does become slightly more expensive. Unfortunately our drinks order was taken wrong and was not served how stated. Staff seemed to be all over the place rather than working sections so tables seemed to be left for a while after people had left. Definitely could do with a refurb or general tidy up and better customer service, just glad the food made up for it.

Great service,  polite friendly staff. Lovely food, well presented. Vegan burger and cheese burger for father and son. Well worth the £20 promo for 2 (£10 each). Thank you for your service

This is a really cozy burger house that affords people the opportunity to have some really tasty burger in a quiet and serene environment. The waitstaff were very friendly and always had a smile on their face. It is also a crowd favourite as people kept on trooping in and out.

Placing an order was pretty easy, scan the QR code, check your table number and pay and you are swiftly attended to. They don't get 5 starts because a member of staff ought to come out and affirm to clients that they have received their order and its being processed instead of having to call out to confirm.

This has to be the worst GBK in the group. The irony is the food is decent. The service and the general condition of the restaurant not so much. I've eaten in here a few times and will no doubt eat here again.

However don't order at the till as asked on the door, at least not if you are a member. I am still waiting after 3 months to have the points I couldn't have added as the scanner doesn't work, don't expect I will ever see them even though the duty manager took my details and a photo of my membership details.

The app is hit and miss here hence me trying to order on it and having to go to the counter. As for the general staff, some are lovely, the Scottish Actor subsidising her income for example, witty and very personable. The young man when we were there Monday of last week not so much, didn't know the difference between Coke and Sprite, didn't know Tea came with milk, couldn't describe people's meals properly when they came out, basically useless.

Overall food is up to expectations, but they do need a staff overhaul.

Fun looking place  but seriously good food. 14 hour brisket was amazing. Double loaded burger was too. Sides are decent too. Far too much to try desserts. Great addition to Ilfors food scene. We will be back.

What can I say...this is what Ilford has been missing!! A truly Americanised experience but absolutely perfect. Took my son here for my birthday lunch and the food...oh my days the food!! I had the beef rib which was immense and he had a chicken burger. We ordered wings too and basically had wayyyyy too much food! Don't be fooled by the fact that the meals seem to come qith very little in the way of sides, they really don't need it. This is a meat-eaters heaven! We had the restaurant to ourselves as it was a Monday lunchtime so we got to sit at the table in the car which is at the front of the restaurant, needless to say my 4 year old loved that aspect! You order on your phone at the table then they take payment before bringing the meal. Staff were friendly, restaurant very aesthetically impressive and the food is in a league of its own. Not cheap but worth every penny!

So we had an great meal but a very bad experience! But it did not stop me from giving them 5 stars.. let me explain

My son is T1 diabetic so we order a Coke Zero for him. However since we have a blood glucose monitor on him, we noticed  his blood sugar began to sky rocket! We found that he was given a full fat coke. In fairness, it is an easy mistake to make, but quite detrimental for his health.

The manager Farhan was extremely apologetic and did whatever means to help us. I can see he felt genuinely bad for his staff’s mistake. He did everything he could to make us feel compensated

But that aside, Food wise? Great! We ordered the fully loaded burger, buttermilk chicken burger, a sharing BBQ tray and everything tasted great! Atmosphere is brilliant and the Airtable was a great touch. Little bit on the pricey side but I would definitely come back again!

I was really disappointed with the food and service. It’s a shame because the atmosphere is really nice. The drinks tasted of nothing. We ordered two different burgers, one was dripping in fat and the other had more fat than meat. I have reduced my star rating from two to one, as this morning my son is suffering from food poisoning.

Highly over priced menu, 12.5% obligatory service charge for non existent service. The interior looks great, food and service well below par. A lot better restaurants in the area.

All our food is 100% halal, all our meat and poultry is un-stunned.

A quick mention for @jungleesburgers a new halal burger spot that's opened in Barkingside. I went without knowing too much about these guys but I was very impressed with the burgers and overall quality of food.

I'll definitely be going back. Its a build your own burger concept. With unlimited toppings.

All were great. The beef burger was cooked to perfection and had a great depth of beefy flavour. The chicken burger was juicy and fresh and again packed with flavour.

Very nice food and tasty! Burgers made fresh and were delicious. Lot of options for drinks and you make your own burger with unlimited toppings. Lot of options to pick from and drinks are nice! They give you gloves to eat the burger as it gets messy. Parking outside or on side streets. Prices reasonable and quick service and food came quick even though they were really busy. Will be going back to this place! Make sure you order their wings!

Nice place on Barkingside High Street. I got the beef eater burger meal which was good. The beef was flavoured well and the burger had a lot of toppings and sauce to choose from. The chips were really good, crispy and salted. Smash burger was good too.

The hot buff wings weren't too hot, tasted like buffalo sauce. The loaded chips were quite good, they used beef strips as opposed to beef mince which was different but very tasty.

The Burger was very nice. They had a lot of free fillings to choose from!

The sauce on the wings tasted like the chilli sauce you get from the cash and carry.

Fries were crispy.

I think they need to provide more than one condiment as well as more napkins and wet wipes after a messy meal.

Good cheap food.

Amazing restaurant. As I entered the restaurant the decor was the first thing that stood out to me the tables were well organized, they had television screens that displayed all the menus and the seats were trendy and comfortable. Not forgetting, the food was amazing I ordered the smash burger Korean wings and a shake. The burger was made to perfection probably the best burger I’ve ever eaten the wings were a little sweet to my liking but still delicious. If you are ever in Barkingside this is a restaurant you can’t miss.

Had dinner with the family, lovely place good customer service.

Everything is freshly cooked, very nice and tasty,  quality meat and chicken.
Lots of sources to pick from, menu is nice and simple but a bit different than normal.

customer service was OK, could do with a customer toilet, couldn’t enjoy my food properly, my daughter needed the toilet.

Ultra Smashed Burger @holysmokeandburgers. If you guys have been to Cristinas, well the man himself @tiberius_tudor has gone and made his own venture with this smashed burger and smoked meats.

Usually we focus on a decent bun and some good smashed beef in a burger and we don't give much attention to the condiments. This burger not only had bewwdifullyy smashed beef but the gherkins with the red onions made for a sound sound burger. I don't think I'd change a thing with this burger, it's so well made. The exact gherkins themselves were well suited too this as they weren't too strong to away sway from the cheese and meaty taste. It's simple ingredients coupled with the experience from a passionate man which keep you wanting to go back.

It's £10 for a burger which is a bit on the pricey side for me but for many people who've tried it they do think it's worth it - many who have tried it say its the best smashed burger too, tough to disagree, it's a top notch burger.

They have accommodated for Ramadan and are open till 2 am some days, it's a burger that's gotta be tried.

Taste: 9.5, Quality: 9, Value: 7.8

One of the best Brisket Burger I had in London. For a takeaway, the prices are slightly expensive but worth every bite of your penny. The meat were well cooked and were succulent, juccy and full off flavour. The salted chips was excellent. This small takeaway business needs a well recognition. The team is very humble and working very hard with their services I must say. They know what they are doing. Will definitely come again.

Great food to be had here. Whilst other reviews have said it's pricey for a takeaway joint, I think they are looking at it from the wrong perspective.

From the quality of food and portion size aspect, it's definitely good value in my opinion. The time it takes this guy to perfect his craft is priceless, and I believe Tiberius has perfected it.

The meat literally melts in the mouth, and the flavours are spot on. The only thing I'd change is to have a little more of the special coffee sauce with my rib because that stuff was epic.

My wife loved the brisket burger, and we both couldn't get enough of the loaded fries which we shared (and still couldn't finish in one sitting)

If you're a meat lover looking for your smokehouse fix, give this place a go and you won't regret it.

Ordered The Brisket & Fries as I’ve wanted to try Barbecue for a while now.

The Meat was very tender, you could definitely taste the smokiness but other than that there was no other pronounced flavours. The meat itself tasted bland in my opinion and the dry rub was just pure pepper, no other form of seasoning or flavour.

The Chicken fries were top notch, crispy, salty and tasty.

I’d say the pricing in quite steep, but if you want to try barbecue give it a go.

Get the brisket burger. It's amazing and so tender. If they tell you it's a 25-30 minute wait, it's worth it as it going to be fresh. Their Mac and cheese was good but for the size it was a bit expensive. The loaded fries were nice. The brisket ribs were so good, just a bit too much pepper for my taste but would buy again.

Got myself the Smoked Short Ribs and the Pulled Brisket Loaded Fries, amazing quality and the best smoked beef that I've ever had.

Yes some may claim it is on the pricier side to a takeaway but completely omit the quality given - meat was really tender, smokey and flavour was infused throughout.

Not to mention Tiberius (owner) is actually the most genuine and kind person around - very accomodating and cares for his customers.

I've been quite a few times now but will definitely return as not much compares to the level of taste and quality.

Everything on our menu is Halal. No alcohol served.

Tried to order off Click & Collect and only three branches available on a website that’s barely functional… no drivers on Uber Eats either, so I ended up going hungry. Normally love your food, would recommend updating your site to be more user friendly in the future

Had the Jacob burger. Overall would say its a 8/10. Very buttery taste but still flavoursome.

4 stars because the chips were terrible. Very starchy and resembled a cardboard taste. Hope they improve that - but would have the burger again

The food is 5 stars however would have to give 1 star rating and will not be coming back 100% due to menu prices changed. I’ll show you a picture below what the original menu was but was changed few days later. The prices all gone up by £1+

This is THE BEST vegan fast food place ever! The concept and idea is amazing. The Burger is the best one I ever had! The “cheese” tastes better than real cheese!!! The “milk” shakes and ice cream are amazing. Just go and try it your self! You won’t taste that it’s vegan! I’m not Vegan and I love it!

Probably the best burger I have eaten. Delicious. So good and tasty. The peanut butter shake is incredible. I dream of visiting Halo Burger.

Wow! The flaming burger was up there with the best burgers I've ever had. Highly recommended. The staff were super nice too.

I'm late to the party!!!!! only just found this place and it's on my doorstep!!
I've now been 3 times in a matter of weeks and have enjoyed every visit.... well, honestly, I've enjoyed the food so much....my go to..... is loaded fries, MAC&CHEESE....OMG Wicked! and the Prawns with Mango, they just melt in my mouth.

and to top it all.......Portions sizes are great value for money.  Service can be a tab slow, but I've been to The IVY, and it was slow too.!!!

I and three friends visited Crepes&Cones on Sunday 20th November unintentionally. My friends and I had planned to dine elsewhere, which was fully booked.

Crepes&Cones was on our list of places to dine at in the near future, it was relatively close to the fully booked restaurant we didn’t wait for, so took a chance going to Crepes&Cones. Despite a couple of reviews saying service was slow and waiting time very long we gave it ago and so glad we did. Service was excellent and waiting time was minimal to be fair it wasn't busy, a large group came after us and a few more people later on. We had an amazing meal with generous portions. We started off with the red velvet prawns, absolutely delicious in addition to the roulette of wings, tasty. Main course didn’t disappoint, once again generous potion and delectable. Service was excellent. We were served by a young lady named Olivia, she deserves 5 stars for being attentive and hardworking, she made us feel welcome, Olivia made sure we were ok. Definitely would recommend and hope to visit again.

Summary: We wouldn’t go back at all and sadly, would not recommend.

Chicken Popcorn (2/5) Nice but tasted like KFC
Salt & Pepper Squid (4/5) It looked like sweet and sour chicken but it was tasty.
French Fries (1/5) Tasted like chips with freezer burn

The Buff Burger (3/5) A nice basic burger, reminded me of a burger from a van.

Grilled King Prawn Skewers: (0/5) Awful, so underwhelming given the title. They definitely did not use King Prawns and it definitely was not restaurant quality in terms of presentation or flavour - even for a diner. This was quite bland and supposedly took over an hour to prepare. They need to go to Billingsgate & invest in some actual King Prawns.

Sides: (These actually came with our Starters & we waited so long for Mains that we’d finished by then)
Return of the Mac (5/5) The Man N Cheese was really tasty, and a nice portion size too.
Plantain: (5/5) Good portion size, nice and juicy.
French Fries: (1/5) Still tasted like chips with freezer burn.

Pros: we were running late, when I called to move the booking it was done without an issue. The lady on the phone even explained that they had a booking of 45 people and the kitchen was very busy so moving our booking later would work out well because the kitchen would be less busy by the time we arrived.
- The starters and sides came out quickly with out drinks
- The salt and pepper squid was the nicest starter we tried, it looked like sweet and sour chicken but it was tasty.
- The Manager was polite, efficient and had really good customer service skills.
- We’d cancelled the order due to the wait time but the manager reinstated it and gave us complimentary take away boxes.

Cons:
- We had a booking but the waitress that greeted us looked confused as to what to do or where to seat us.
- The place lacked ambience and the music playing was notably terrible.
- Even after moving our booking to a time that worked better around the booking of 45 people, the mains took over an hour to arrive. We saw four people that walked in after us get 4 burgers whilst we waited an hour for just one.
- we had to get back by a certain time so we cancelled the order due to the wait time and discrepancies on how long it would take from different waitresses.
- Other than the manager, the staff we saw seemed miserable. Maybe a team visit to another restaurant could give them an insight into the customer service they should aim to deliver and also raise morale.

Great atmosphere it was just freezing because the heating was not working. The food was not quite up to par for the child but I enjoy the jerk chicken meal and pepper steak meal, coselaw and rice and peas. Was very fresh and tasty. Throughout though we were cold. Service friendly buy I think they could also be understaffed. They helped by making another kids meal.

We had a fresh waffle and a Belgium waffle. They were really sweet, actually a bit too sweet as I'm not so used to that much sugar... I gave 4 stars because I was told they can't offer us tap water, but everyone around us do get offered water. No idea whether that was because we only came for waffles not for main courses, but technically I don't see that as a reason (given the sweetness as well). Also waitresses seems really occupied and tired on a Sunday afternoon and wasn't too attentive. Would still revisit but appreciate some improvements.

The burgers were amazing! The fries are out of this world. Wish they could bring the price down a bit though. I guess it's good in a way, because that's what is keeping me from not getting fat 🤣 But amazing!

Great experience here. Been to several Honest Burgers and this one was especially nice, lovely interior, friendly staff and great food. The vegan burger alternatives are excellent as well ✌️

The best vegan burgers on the market. I genuinely thought I had been given a beef burger by mistake the first time I tried it. Perhaps slightly expensive? But the food is superb and the staff great.

All of the chicken in our restaurants is halal. If you would like to see our supplier’s halal certificate please ask your server when you arrive. Halal products are stored separately with strict processes in place to stop cross-contamination. Halal chicken items are handled with separate utensils and gloves. Fried halal chicken burgers and wings do not share fryers with any non-halal items. Grilled halal chicken breast burgers are cooked on a reserved area of the grill separated by a grill divider. We do not offer halal beef at any of our restaurants.
