Had an amazing experience. Service was excellent, food was served just on time. Best Kebab in town. Instead of repeat what other reviews have already stated I’ll simply say pay them a visit. They can accommodate large groups so take friends and family and order a large sharing platter. Reasonable prices to boot.

This was honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. Nobody bothered to tell us the kitchen was closing, and the staff didn’t check on us even once. We literally sat there waiting, only to find out much later that we wouldn’t be getting any food at all. Completely unacceptable.

When we tried to raise the issue, the owner, Vijay, was unbelievably rude and dismissive. Instead of trying to fix the situation or even apologise, he acted like we were the problem. The attitude was shocking for someone running a business.

To make things worse, we watched other customers getting into arguments with the staff too, so clearly this wasn’t just us — the place seems to have serious customer service issues.

Terrible communication, terrible service, and an owner who clearly doesn’t care. I definitely won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Brilliant restaurant. Food was very tasty, very well presented and reasonably priced along with being served in  good portion sizes. The place was clean, very comfortable and cozy atmosphere, and the staff was very polite and attentive. 10/10

I am a real fan of Indian cuisine and I have to say that all food which I ordered in this restaurant was delicious! In addition the atmosphere and interior of Magic Masala is special, the place is clean and cosy  - you feel here an good atmosphere. I recommend  this restaurant for couples and families

Wow I bought the chilli chicken for lunch and it was delicious I have previously tried their panini and beef burger. I would highly recommend this place as they do a variety of different foods.

Ate here tonight for my anniversary.
First time here and what a surprise.
Beautiful and homely interior with an array of Poruguese sharing plates.
Thoroughly enjoyed the entire evening and a special thanks to our server, such a nice young guy and on hand the whole time to answer any questions and offer to remove the onions from the rice as I can’t eat them, rather than us changing our order.
Definitely worth a visit, can’t ever imagine you’ll be disappointed.

New menu at this Portuguese chain and I'm not sure it's quite as it used to be. Food was good for starters but mains were a little disappointing. I had new pork chop with red pepper sauce and crackling crumb. It sounded good but I was really surprised when I tasted the fish as the crackling crumb tasted like it had been fried in very old oil which ruined the taste of the whole dish. They exchanged it excluding the crumb and it was better but it shouldn't of even got sent out from the kitchen...not sure who is tasting food before it left the kitchen. Anyway wine was good and sides quite nice. Service was also very odd, we must of had at least three different servers and we were brought food from another table and then asked if we wanted to move outside which another table had obviously requested. So basically some training is required, which was disappointing. I really love this chain so overall felt a bit let down. Maybe it was just this outpost as London bridge is normally v good.

Really great food and atmosphere. Spacious, doesn’t feel cramped. Staff really friendly, always speaks to you with a smile. Prices reasonable. Toilets clean.

Lovely experience with amazing food. Almost didn’t order the chicken but it was delicious. The casa rice was amazing too.

I’ve been here last time two years ago. And decided to visit again. This place is known to be like a better version of nandos. However I think for me this place is more like a roast chicken kinda place.

When I had it two years ago I thought it was pretty basic. I think when I had it this time. I kinda enjoyed it. I wouldn’t say it’s mind blowingly good. But I would definitely say a tasty good quality chicken. It’s more like have a roast chicken or rotisserie chicken style taste. Couldn’t taste any peri peri. It was juicy and succulent and I think the chicken quality this time was better than last time. I don’t even like Nando’s, so this personally is way better

The green rice was rather too oily. It’s like a sticky rice, with few vegetables. However being oily it did go hand in hand with the chicken. The chips was crispy.

The best thing is the chilli sauce. That sauce on anything is amazing. Drench it on chicken or the chips. You’ll enjoy it.

The dessert was banging. Probably the best dish for me. It’s like them layered biscuity cakey. With cream and caramel on top. Must try

All in all would defo go back for the chicken. I wouldn’t compare it with nandos as it’s completely different

with a beautifully tender texture and rich flavors. The sauces that accompanied them were absolutely incredible, enhancing each bite with just the right balance of tanginess and richness. And the drinks were equally delightful, perfectly complementing the meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with lush greenery indoors that gave it a fresh and vibrant feel, almost like it was helping purify the air. All in all, it was just an amazing dining experience!

Lovely vibe and atmosphere at the restaurant, nicely decorated and easy to find, just next to Borough Market. We ordered sourdough, Iberico pork croquettes, mushroom à bulhão pato, Frango piri-piri, slow-roasted pork cheek, and casa rice for a table of three. This is definitely good portion and got us super full.

The sourdough was soft inside with a crispy crust, thick-cut and served with whipped butter, which was a nice surprise! The croquettes were a bit too salty for me personally. The mushroom dish had lemon added, but it was too sour and I couldn’t taste much garlic. It came with toasted sourdough underneath that soaked up all the sauce — though again, too sour for the sourdough!

We ordered the Frango piri-piri after seeing other reviews, and it was absolutely amazing. Just a reminder — it’s quite spicy, so be careful if you can’t handle spice! The pork cheek was surprisingly good and tender, even though the plating didn’t look too impressive. It was full of flavour, and the sweet potato purée with the meat juice was also delicious.

The casa rice seems to be a popular choice, but it wasn’t a wow for us — still decent though. We shared their gelato, and I have to say the sea salted caramel flavour was exceptional!

Overall, loved the whole experience — comfortable place, great service, and would definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful experience at Casa do Frango in London Bridge. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with real care. Every dish we ordered was outstanding. The beautiful décor and warm, stylish atmosphere made the whole visit even better. The space feels vibrant, relaxed, and thoughtfully designed.

While the food and ambience were excellent, the service could use some improvement. We were served by several different waiters, which led to some confusion, and a few extra items were added to the bill that we never received. I didn’t complain at the time, especially as they kindly invited us to the drinks, which was appreciated. Still, a bit more training and coordination among the staff would make the experience truly perfect.

Despite this, the overall visit was fantastic — the quality of the food and the atmosphere more than made up for the service hiccups. I’d definitely return and still highly recommend Casa do Frango for a delicious and memorable meal.

As a British Portuguese person, I’ve struggled in the past in recommending decent Portuguese restaurants and always had to mention places in Stockwell/Vauxhall. I have to say I’d highly recommend this place as it was lovely seeing a menu of dishes that my family makes at home 👏🏼 Unfortunately a bit of the chicken we ordered was undercooked but Charles, our server sorted us out. He really went above and beyond ensuring we were well taken care of and checking in with the person I was with who has a seafood allergy. Perfect location and great spot to have a meal with friends/family.

This place surpassed our expectations! We came for NYE because reservations were still open. Every single item we were served was amazing! The service and ambience were top notch. Our server Sydney was such a sweetie. And so was the manager. We were glad we ended up eating here for our last meal of 2026! 🥂🍾🎉
