Hoppers Marylebone was my first hopper experience, recommended by a local, and it turned out to be a great introduction. The meal felt authentic, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared from start to finish.

I ordered the dosa, bone marrow varuval, roti, and lamb kari, and everything was well done. For two people, this was more than enough food — we even had leftovers. The flavors were bold without being overwhelming, and each dish felt distinct and satisfying.

The service wasn’t the most attentive, but it didn’t detract from the overall experience.

Overall, a fantastic meal and a great place to try Sri Lankan–inspired cooking for the first time. Would definitely come back.

This is the first time I have been to Hoppers and I must say it was excellent on every level. They have some excellent cocktails and the food we ordered was absolutely superb. We could not fault the service and the atmosphere was brilliant. The place was packed, but we never had any problems getting food. You have to try the hoppers and the Dosas these are excellent. I would highly recommend the taste that menu if you haven’t been before.

From the moment we walked into Hoppers on Wigmore Street, we knew we were in for something special. The warm lighting, elegant decor, and the faint scent of spices set the tone perfectly.

The food was sublime. Every dish felt thoughtful, bold, and balanced. The hopper itself was light, crisp at the edges, soft in the bowl—ideal for scooping up sauces and “karis.” The black pork kari had deep, rich flavour; tender meat bathed in fragrant spices. The lamb kothu roti was a standout: hearty, aromatic, with just enough char and texture. On the side, the chutneys and sambols elevated the experience—bright, sharp, and perfectly matched to the heavier dishes.

Service deserves its own praise. The staff guided us confidently through the menu, explained unfamiliar terms, and answered questions without rush. Even though the place was busy, we never felt pressured.

Portion sizes were generous for sharing, especially when you order a few dishes among two or more. Prices reflect the quality and location, but never felt inflated.

In short: this is a destination restaurant. For anyone who loves spice, great textures, and cuisine that surprises in the best way—Hoppers on Wigmore Street earns every one of those five stars.

Food: The spicy squid as a starter was very good. We also ordered Aubergine Curry paired with white rice. It was recommended but we didn't like the curry as much. Seemed to lack the flavor.

Service: Our server was friendly. She made sure we have everything we needed during the meal.

Ambiance: Great for casual or formal dining with friends and family. Unique decor. Seating available inside and outside the restaurant. May need reservation on weekends.

Value: Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service.

Excellent food, the lamb was so tender and juicy, good portions. The ginger beer was like none I’ve tasted before. Friendly and helpful staff, worth every penny and more.

Outstanding experience at Oorja!

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Oorja. The food is exceptional — truly authentic Indian cuisine that exceeded all expectations. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully prepared.

The service was immaculate. A special mention to our waitress, Lovely, who was incredibly attentive, warm, and highly professional throughout our visit. She made excellent recommendations and really elevated our experience.

The atmosphere is vibrant and buzzy, yet still comfortable enough to enjoy good conversation with friends. And the cocktails deserve a shoutout too — expertly made, high-quality, and delicious.

We will definitely be back, and we can’t recommend Oorja enough. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Very impressed with the food but the service was a let down. Went here for Sunday lunch with my cousins and food wise, most of the dishes were delicious - favourites include their chicken chops and the palak chaat, yumm!

The service though left much to be desired - the mains came before the kebabs, the naans took ages to arrive while the curries were already there. Repeat naan orders were lost and even asking for a bowl of yogurt took 20 mins.

If the service was better, would have earned a 5 stars for sure.

I went in around 9 p.m. on a Saturday night. Even though it was really busy and I was on my own, the staff still sat me right away with no waiting.

The food was honestly amazing. The Barrah lamb chop was super tender, packed with cumin, and basically melted in my mouth. It had a bit of spice, but the onions and green sauce balanced everything perfectly.

The butter chicken was smooth and comforting, and the chicken was actually juicy. Paired with the rice, it was the perfect combo for me since I love a little sweetness in my savory dishes.

If you do not drink alcohol, you should definitely try their spiced mocktails. They are really unique and not the usual overly sweet fruit mixes you see everywhere.

All the staff were extremely kind during my visit and the food came out really fast. Great experience overall.

The Decorations of this restaurant is really nice. The service was excellent. We will return when our next trip to. I had great aprons that you put on when you’re having dinner makes a great picture  thought that was a really cute idea. Also, at the end they gave you this box with herbs in it. We tried it has an interesting taste

We celebrated my husbands birthday with a Sunday roast. Our server Lovpreet was amazing and helped us with recommended cocktails from the bar manager Ahmit. The bespoke cocktail at the end of the meal was a true pallet cleanser. A mix of cucumber and citrus flavours it should be on the menu! Overall 10/10 experience will be coming back again to try the main menu.

Saffron Street

Was my first time visiting saffron street with family. The food was tasty and was a great vibe! My favourite was the fried ice cream that was absolutely delicious! The only criticism I have is the portion size is small compared to other restaurants for the prices. Overall was enjoyable!

The food was okay and the service was decent, but nothing really stood out. Some dishes were nice, others were just average. The atmosphere was fine, but it felt like it could be better. Overall, an alright experience, not bad, but not amazing either.

Delicious food. Masala fries where probably the best I’ve ever eaten. The tacos were nice, but a bit too oily.

One negative was the attendee when I arrived within the 15 minutes holding time. I was not aware the entire group had to be there to claim the reservation (especially when one of them is arriving with a newborn baby!) and feel like it could have been communicated more nicely especially once our original table had been given away. Other than that, the service was fine.

Was craving some chaat. I’ve been to their other restaurant - Saffron Kitchen many times and I’ve always loved the chaat platter there. Since I was in the Gants Hill area however and didn’t fancy the drive to Leyton, we decided to come here instead because they do the same platter.

I’ve been here several times too over the years, and whilst the food has always been consistently decent, it’s definitely never been anything to remember - just more of a nice convenient place if I’m in the area and can’t think of anywhere else to go. Anyway, I hoped the chaat platter would be just like Saffron Kitchen’s, unfortunately, it wasn’t - all the chaats were far too sweet, and the gol gappe were filled almost entirely with yogurt, which none of us enjoyed.

The mains were better - nothing wow as usual, but decent with nice balanced flavours and decent portions. The Indian dishes were definitely better than the Chinese fusion options though.

That said, the restaurant itself is very aesthetic, and we were seated quickly with great service throughout. The food presentation is always on point, with a bit of added theatricals for the gram if you’re into that kind of thing.

We traveled 125miles to come here because my son loves this place. The captions says it all. The best hands down , the vibe is so good here too and waiter service great, large mocktail and daiquiri range too. Been coming here for 5 years twice a year for anniversaries and birthdays . The biryani's are awesome here too a whole lamb shank protruding out of it.  The kids always  wake up early to travel here and sleep the way back home (That says it all really)

We are HMC approved. This means our entire menu and supply-chain is certified Halal according to HMC standards. No traces of pork or alcohol in the store.

I have been meaning to try this place for a long time and finally managed to do so one night - we were very close to the last order time but the staff was accommodating and  the service felt well paced and not rushed at all. We wanted to try two nibbles but only poppadum was available which was shame. All dishes ordered were nicely seasoned and flavourful although the chicken was slightly dry). Overall it was a good experience and would be happy to come back!

As if it were a full-time job, my friend and I absolutely love scrolling through First Table to see what’s new. I mean, where else can you find fantastic restaurants offering 50% off the food? Kachori had been on my list for ages, so finally, it was time to give it a try. We went for lunch and wow, loved everything from the moment we stepped in.

The service was flawless, really couldn’t have been better. The ambience was warm, clean, and so welcoming that we could honestly have stayed until dinner. We kicked things off with the matar & truffle ki kachori, then I went for a sensational lamb shank nihari while my friend stuck to her favourite dilli chicken butter masala, all accompanied by dal makhani and cheese chilli naan, and finished off with a masala chai brulee. Naturally, all washed down with a fresh bottle of vinho verde.

Everything was perfectly thought through, every detail cared for, and you genuinely feel looked after without ever being rushed. Definitely a place worth trying.

A friend and I stopped off here late on a Tuesday evening after a Christmas party near to closing time. The staff were friendly and accommodating considering the time, and agreed to seat us as we only wanted have a quick bite to eat. We ordered the chicken burgers, which were delivered quickly and rather tasty. We would happily return as the meal was reasonably priced and we experienced good service from the team.

Finally tried the Royal Mahal down the road after hearing lots of good things about the place. The food was on point especially if you can handle a bit of spice! Very good value as well as we went with the mega platter along with Dum Briyani and Afghan lamb - all succulently cooked- couldn’t comment on the dessert as we were too full unfortunately. Definitely worth a visit!

I love the dynamite chicken but wish they gave a bit more chicken. All the drinks I got here were nice too, and the food is yummy! The San Sebastián cheesecake and lotus milk cake are so good.

Have to make a reservation in advance as this place is popular! They have limited indoor table seating and have additional counter seating which I didnt mind and actually preferred. The decor and atmosphere is nice and cozy even if a little dark. The dining area is small but the small bar is cute. You get a warm welcome and great friendly service here, everything is explained to you, wait staff are attentive plus patient and that alone would bring me back.

The menu is not extensive but the food is delicious! The food came oit piping hot and fresh with no long waits. The Okra Fries and King Prawn Curry leaf dish was the highlight for me! So moreish and reminding me of my family elders cooking from my childhood. It was like that end scene from Ratatouille 😊 The paneer Masala was tasty and creamy, the lamb curry had nice chunks of meat, the coconut rice fluffy and flavoursome with decent portion sizes. Only downside for me personally was the chicken lollipop was a little dry and maybe a little pot of curry gravy would have gone well with it 🤔 The Mango Lassi was delicious and I loved having the Gulab Jamen warm.

Highly recommend a visit and I'm scheduling in a time to come back for the Sunday Roast I've heard so much about!

Tamil Prince was hands down my favorite restaurant from my entire UK trip. I first heard about it from a friend after his visit, and based on how quickly it books up, I made a reservation almost a month in advance. Totally worth it.

The restaurant is small, cozy, and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, which adds to the charm. The food was outstanding. We tried the okra fries, fizzy lemon soda, shrimp curry, chicken masala, coconut rice, and the parotta. The parotta was easily the fluffiest I’ve ever had.

The service was great too. Our waitress recommended the gulab jamun, and I’m so glad she did. It was incredible, easily the best jamun I’ve had in a long time, and honestly better than anything I’ve tasted in the US.

This place completely lived up to the hype. I’ve already started recommending it to friends, and anytime someone mentions a London trip, this is the restaurant I tell them about. If I’m back in London, Tamil Prince will absolutely be one of my first stops.

Absolutely amazed. Great vibes, great food. Lovely selection of cocktails. There’s no doubt their food is excellent, but the best thing about the Tamil prince was the staff. All of them so polite and friendly, they were happy to be there and you could see it. Would 10/10 recommend.

We were quickly seated as walk in at the counter. Service was great with quick explanations on what they’re known for for, what they recommend, etc. Food was brought out quickly and was amazing. The depth of flavour, the flakiness of the channa, the balance of sweet and sour in the laksa… would come back again!

It had been a great day out with my daughter and we were now thirsty and looking for somewhere to relax and sample some cool cocktails, when we came across Zaika of Kensington a Indian restaurant & bar. It was a cold winter evening in November and the first experience was not only fantastic ambience with a very authentic décor, but we were also warmly welcomed by two very friendly front of house staff.

We grab a seat at the expansive bar on the very comfortable stools and settled in to review the menu, we decided on the classic Singapore Sling and took in the very laid back and sophisticated vybe. Watching our bartender making our cocktails it was clear that he was very familiar with the required ingredients and also made it to a standard which I can closely compare with the original I had whilst on vacation in Singapore last year.

The staff were professional and friendly and the drinks were amazing made with fantastic attention to detail and leaving us much warmer and both agreeing that it had been the perfect end to a great midweek uptown excursion. We will definitely be coming back to experience the full culinary experience and of course sample more of their amazing cocktails, the list is not long but what they do offer is curated to a very high standard.

We went there for dinner on a Saturday just before Christmas. One of my friends recommended this place and it didn't disappoint. Nice little place with a cafe vibe. Everything we ordered was delicious. We had lamb biryanis with lamb galouti and seekh kebabs as sides. It was authentic awadhi biryani and kebabs simply melted in mouth. Yes it is a bit pricey but hey you are right in the heart of central london next to Oxford Street. Overall a satisfying experience.

I treated my mum for her birthday and she was just blown away. I’m a huge foodie and I can proudly say this place does the best biryani. It’s rich, flavourful and to die for. All other dishes are just as brilliant. It’s dangerous this place is so close to me - I have to stop myself from eating here too much.

Excellent food and service!  We were in London for a few days and wanted a change of pace for dinner. We are so happy we chose BKC. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we enjoyed our experience. The staff asked thoughtful questions and made great suggestions to satisfy all our palates. This Indian eatery missed the mark on several points. A friendly staff member took the initial order, then a manager stepped in – both provided good service. The issue began when I was offered a bag and said yes, without being told it would cost 50p for a flimsy paper bag that isn’t reusable.

The food was disappointing. The butter chicken was tough and dry, the potatoes undercooked. Only the rice and green beans were worth eating.

The layout is pleasant, with plenty of seating, but that alone doesn’t make up for the poor food quality.

The food here is full of flavor and served fresh! The presentation was neat, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Loved the balance of spices — just the right kick without being overwhelming. Definitely a place I’d come back to for a cozy and tasty meal.

I cam from Belfast, I had breakfast here and came back for lunch too! price to quality and portion value is good! Masala chae was ON SPOT!!! Generous portions!

I was initially attracted by the appealing menu and the interesting format of the dishes. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially for a first-time visitor, which made a good first impression. Unfortunately, the food itself was mediocre at best — the overcooked vegetables made the meal look like a school dinner from the 1970s.

What surprised me even more was the cost. For two meals, two soft drinks, and one naan, the bill came to £37. That’s extremely poor value for a simple lunch. Despite the pleasant service, I won’t be returning.

Absolutely appaulled! Bought a portion of chips for my little one which cost £4.50 for a portion that is just about a handful. Furthermore, the cashier took my card to tap on the card reader herself telling me she cannot extend the card reader out to me. Disappointed at the food portion and service. Definitely will not be back after the service.

Travelled quite a bit after seeing this on Instagram few days ago, on the website and google it said that it opens at 9.15, when we got there it was closed, we waited for 5 minutes and it was still closed, we tried calling the number on google and no one was answering, we waited a little longer and was about to give up and walked away, after looking back a few minutes later they opened at 9.30, if they’re late they should’ve put a sign on the shop. The food was nice and very hot (temperature) when it arrived. Food took roughly 15 minutes to arrive after we ordered, we started eating and after few minutes realised we didn’t get the keema side that we ordered, they had forgotten about it, when it arrived we was very disappointed, taste wise it was nice, but they charged us £4 for a very tiny bowl, it was not worth that price considering that the whole breakfast meal cost £10.95 which included the karak coffee too. The coffee was nice but it left a little aftertaste in the month and tongue after each sip. The cafe is a good size with lots of seating area and staff gave good service.

Lovely staff - I've never waited long for food but go in weekdays, 10 minutes for this? Imo quick. Such tasty fresh food, very fair value for what you receive. Most reliable in the area

I ordered masalla egg with roti and masalla  tea.our seniors  really enjoyed the breakfast. Will be ordering  again as a monthly.

The meal was enjoyable, particularly the paratha and omelette, and the chai was delicious. The only issue I had was that the menu is not clearly labelled. For example, we wanted masala potatoes with our desi nashta but were told that this was only available on the weekend.

I thought the food was amazing, the guy  was happy to help me with selecting food. I was only working in the area, and stopped by chance, after reading online reviews. I was not disappointed. Not much choice but the food was delicious. At a great value. It was that good, I went back  a second time. Definitely worth a visit..

Absolutely fantastic experience at Dawat in Tooting! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and the food was simply outstanding. Every dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care and quality ingredients.
A special shout-out to Nakhal for her exceptional service. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Her warm personality and professionalism really elevated our experience and made us feel genuinely valued as guests.

Some photos attached – we couldn’t take any images of the food as we simply couldn’t resist and dived straight in! That alone says everything about how good it was.

I visited this  place and overall it was a disappointing experience. The atmosphere was just okay—nothing particularly warm or inviting.

The food, unfortunately, was below average. The fish curry had no real flavor or depth, and honestly felt very basic. The only highlight was the dessert, the carrot sweet (gajar halwa), which was actually quite good.

Service was horrible. Our dishes came out at completely different times, and one of our starters only arrived after we had already finished our meals. Even worse, they completely forgot to bring the rice—despite the waiter repeating our order back to us to make sure nothing was missed. Rice is an essential part of the main course, and yet it never came.
Considering the quality of food and service, the prices are quite high. I wouldn’t go back, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Nice place, nice food, staff was kind too! Butter chicken and garlic naan were a pleasant experience, especially here in the UK! Pani Puri was indeed a player of the game! Having said that there is defo a room to improve! Chkn tikka biryani was good too, although, even better with butter chicken’s curry. Falooda was spot on! Aslam who served us was also professional and prompt!

Dawat in Tooting is a very good place for people who enjoy non-vegetarian food, as they have a wide range of non-veg options and the taste is quite good. However, if you are a vegetarian, you might face a little difficulty due to limited choices on the menu.
I would mainly recommend this restaurant to non-vegetarians. That said, the atmosphere and staff were both nice and welcoming. I personally suggested that they add Dal Makhani to the menu for vegetarians, as I am a vegetarian myself.
Overall, it was a good experience.

One of the best proper curry houses in London, with authentic flavours in a busy and popular environment.

Bring your own booze, or don’t have any, there are soft drink options which accompany the meal nicely.

The lamb chops and garlic naan are outstanding, and all the curry dishes are great.

Sometimes a little wait if you don’t have a reservation but it’s easy to see why as it’s always packed, across 3 floors. At lunchtime it can be a bit quieter, eg Sunday afternoon.

Is a great evening out with a group, the atmosphere is energetic and the food arrives quickly after ordering, and doesn’t disappoint.

Fair prices, consistent quality and a fun visit.

A great experience here. The atmosphere is lively, and it was completely packed. I would definitely book in advance - even this doesn’t guarantee you a table, it just pushes you to the front of the queue! The food itself was absolutely delicious - so flavoursome, and so much of it. The meat biryani (the house special on a Friday night) was unreal.
The service was attentive and friendly, and the prices were fair, especially for London. I’d highly recommend this restaurant - thank you very much

Tayyabs is one of those London spots people always talk about, and after going, I get why. The Punjabi food is bold, full of spice, and cooked with real character. The lamb chops are the dish everyone raves about for a reason…smoky, juicy, and packed with flavor. The karahi curries are rich, hearty, and perfect for sharing around the table. Portions are generous, so you won’t leave hungry.

The atmosphere is buzzing and energetic. It’s not a quiet or intimate restaurant, but that’s part of the charm. It feels alive, with big groups, sizzling plates, and constant movement. Seating can be tight, and it does get noisy, so don’t expect a calm dinner. This is more about enjoying the food and the energy of the place.

Service is quick, sometimes a little rushed, but that matches the pace of the restaurant. Food usually comes out fast and fresh, which is impressive given how busy it gets. The interior is simple and functional…it’s clear the focus here is all about the food.

You might walk out with your clothes carrying the smoky aroma of the grill, but honestly, that’s part of the experience. Overall, Tayyabs is a London institution worth visiting. Go with friends or family, order plenty, and enjoy the flavors.

Had a great experience at Tayyabs. The food was so good: we got the lamb chops, seekh kebab, garlic naan, pilau rice, mango lassi, samosa and karahi chicken tikka masala.

Great portions, all cooked and seasoned beautifully. The staff were so friendly and kind, thank you for a memorable meal!

We visited Tayyab’s as a group of 8 (4 adults and 4 children aged 4–13) on a Saturday evening with a 5:45pm booking. As expected, the place was absolutely ram-packed.

We were seated upstairs initially which was fine, but by around 6:30pm it completely filled up and became incredibly loud. The atmosphere is very lively and buzzing, which works brilliantly for adults, but honestly not so great for kids. It’s extremely noisy and there aren’t many mild, child-friendly meal options on the menu.

That said, the food itself was actually decent and arrived surprisingly quickly given how busy it was. The BYOB setup is obviously a big draw – people bring their own drinks and just order food, which makes it very attractive for large groups.

Overall, I’d highly recommend Tayyab’s for big groups of adults who enjoy a loud, bustling environment and great energy. But for families with young children, based on our experience, it’s probably not the best fit.

Three Falcons Hotel & Pub

We had an incredible dinner at Three Falcons and were blown away by both the food and the service. Every dish looked stunning and tasted even better from the perfectly spiced Angara Tikka to the rich, comforting Chicken Chettinad and the beautifully layered biryani. The cocktails were spot-on too, especially the Spiced Negroni.

The highlight of the evening was the Gulab Jamun Cheesecake honestly one of the best desserts I’ve had in London. The plating alone deserves its own applause.

A special shoutout to Hasan, who took amazing care of us. Super warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel personal. You can tell he genuinely cares that guests enjoy their time.

The ambience is cosy, elegant, and perfect for a relaxing meal.
Highly recommend this place  we’ll definitely be coming back!

Had an absolutely wonderful experience at three Falcons. The food was very rich and flavourful - best butter chicken I’ve ever had!!

My experience at the Three Falcons Gaston Pub was amazing. The food was delicious. I ordered the Butter Chicken and the fried chicken. It was juicy and so flavorful. Our waiter Krissna was very kind and attentive. Would love to dine here again.

After the hype on insta went to have our anniversary dinner at this gastro pub, tbh a left me disappointed as the hype did no justice When we arrived, it seemed to me we were just plonked in the middle of the gangway for a table of 2 ! Overally congested hardly no space to move, I really did not enjoy the environment and table allocated.
The staff were really friendly and always were asking if we were ok as they probably could see I was uncomfortable

The chicken tikka actually tastes like jelly and made my husband stomach turn we did not mention to the staff as they were too busy! Maybe we just chose a wrong day to eat there 💁🏻‍♀️
Prices were a bit steep too!

On a separate note chicken biryani was nice

We stayed for 5 nights. The location was great and the rooms while small were comfortable. The included breakfast was great and Radwer was very nice every morning. The pub was amazing and the food was top notch. Hasan took great care of us and it was overall a great stay. Would highly  recommend 👌.

Edit : Never again! Avoid at all cost. Absolutely shocked by the service tonight. The 2 hijabi ladies didn't even offer any costumers service, were very slow and messed up our order trying to charge us for chips which they didn't bring.

an amazing place to get some lamb chops and grilled chicken. The chicken was grilled properly and the lamb chops were juice and seasoned well. The place was clean and the staff was friendly and gave good service. Definitely an underrated place that deserves more stars and customers as the prices and quality are amazing. Strongly recommend for their food and hospitality.

I ordered a naan for pick-up honestly, it was a terrible experience. When I got my order, the naan was completely burnt. On top of that, the lady at the counter had a very rude attitude — no apology, nothing. Lady is so rude to every other customer. Definitely not coming back here.

The restaurant has a unique blend of Pakistani and Indian cuisine, and it's always bustling with people, even late into the night. Although we had to wait a bit longer than expected for our food, it was worth it. The grilled chicken was particularly delicious and tasted fresh and well-cooked. In my opinion, it's even better than some of the bigger chain restaurants nearby that claim to specialize in doner kebabs.

Best food and very attentive service. Can't recommend enough this place. Me and my whole family keep coming back to this place. The prices are far better than anywhere else.

Managed to walk in a get a table with no wait yesterday. I had brunch at a place near by but it didn't hit the spot. So being the fatty I am I went to @dishoom and got the lamb biryani. Such a good choice, my first time I've had it. I found it delicious. Lamb cooked perfectly, moist fluffy rice, spices all balanced out and really flavoursome. Definitely a top biryani and for less than a tenner

Dishoom in London was an incredible dining experience and easily a place I would highly recommend. The food was unbelievably flavorful, with rich spices and bold, authentic tastes that made every dish memorable. Everything we tried was packed with depth and cooked perfectly.

The inside of the restaurant is absolutely stunning—beautifully designed with a warm, elegant atmosphere that feels both cozy and vibrant at the same time. The attention to detail in the décor really adds to the overall experience and makes it a great place to sit back and enjoy the meal.

Dishoom stays very busy for both lunch and dinner, and it’s easy to see why, so reservations are highly recommended. Between the amazing food, gorgeous interior, and lively energy, this is a must-visit spot when you’re in London.

We visited Dasham for a meal, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful experience. The ambience is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, creating a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The decor adds to the overall charm of the place.

We ordered chola poori halwa, Parsi omelette, and qeema, and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely amazing. One of the highlights of our visit was the bottomless tea, which was especially comforting and perfect for the winter season.

The staff was extremely courteous and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. The place does get a bit crowded, so making a reservation in advance is highly recommended.

Overall I think the food is good and tasty, though I’m not entirely convinced the price tag is worth it as the portions are small. Lineup was considerable but they bring out chai tea to the waiting customers. As I don’t recall the specific dish names, it’ll be a bit generic. Shrimp: dry but flavourful. Okra fries: well seasoned, crispy. Baked rice: average. Chicken curry: rich, recommended. Salad: not very impressive.

I usually go to this restaurant, and Dishoom never disappoints. It’s one of my favourite restaurants.

I ordered the Chilli Cheese Toast, Pau Bhaji, Okra Fries, and Vegetable Samosas, and everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavour.

The chilli cheese toast was perfectly crispy, the pau bhaji was really tasty, the okra fries were crispy and enjoyable, and the vegetable samosas were fresh and tasty.

To finish it off, I had the Basmati Kheer with Masala Chai, which was really yummy and the perfect way to end the meal.
The atmosphere is great and the food is consistently amazing. I love coming here and would definitely recommend Dishoom.

Birthday brunch as a special treat and it certainly was! Very good and welcoming service. Our server explained everything to us and recommended a few dishes that were her favourites. The food was delicious and filling and we thoroughly enjoyed it! As it was my birthday, I was treated to a complementary stack of delicious cinnamon pancakes. Thank you Dishoom, we will be back!

Two fried eggs on chilli cheese toast. £4.90 and AKURI
Spicy scrambled eggs — an Irani café staple — piled up richly alongside 
plump pau buns and served with grilled tomato. £6.90 along with some malsala beans. 
The top dish pictured , AKURI was the best, spicy, flavoured and textured well. The KEJRIWAL was disappointing. The venue is very well decorated and worth a visit to experience the atmosphere. However, is not very good value for money in my opinion. But as usual, I recommend going to experience the quirky environment and judge the food yourself. Make sure to visit the rest rooms.

Today went  for lunch & orderefed several different foods, great selections with nice ambients. Place is abit pack. Entrance comes with huge alcohol bar counter, witu 3 levels of dining area. Waiters are attentive and the foods are served fast even though peak hours.
Recommended for good indian vegetarian dining 4✨. Friend ordered lamb Briyani big portion. (for 2 person)
We had ordered Paneer, jackfruit Briyani(good choice 1st time eating jackfruit rice) vegetable grill(not actually grilled but more of boiled type) and they replaced it with potatoes dish(good courtesy of them) Paneeer grill(very fragrant) rotimali bread + Garlic Nan (superb texture) 👌

Dishoom has been on my list of restaurants to visit for a long time and it is safe to say it absolutely lived up to my expectations.

The food was delicious and full of vibrant flavour. The staff were very attentive and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very unique and pleasant. The food came out quickly however we did go on a Tuesday at lunchtime so I suspect weekends have longer wait times. That being said, I would have happily waited longer as the food was THAT good.

We ordered the chefs special which was a lamb biryani, as well as the masala prawns, black daal, aubergine chutney and raita along with a side of roti. By the middle of our meal we were very grateful for the fresh Raita which helped cool our mouths a little from the spice in the rest of the foods and my spicy margarita. We rounded everything off with the crumble, which was very tasty.

I hope to come back again soon to try more if they’re incredible dishes.

After arriving at St.Pancras we we're longing for a good breakfast. I booked in advance to avoid disappointment if the place was packed. I checked the website for specials before arrival so I knew they had some interesting christmas specials. I chose the naan with honeyglazed pigs in blankets one of the specials. It was so good with two perfect runny sunny side up eggs. Combined with my bottemless Chai and a few sips from my daughters mango lassi made it the perfect start of a very busy day. My partner had the full Bombay which you can't go wrong with when you are a big ester and our daughter had childrens size cinnamon pancakes with cream and fresh fruits. All the food was amazing and most of the staff were great. The location is also beautiful. I love how the buildings got made into a new destination!

Fyi I know the pictures of the food might look underwhelming but the flavor explosion is real. I choose flavor over aesthetically pleasing food any day.

The restaurant, ambiance, and service were all truly wonderful, and the food was very delicious. However, the only downside is that the portion sizes are quite small considering the price. I also found it surprising that they don’t offer biryani rice as a side option ، only plain white rice.
On a positive note, they also offered us a complimentary dessert for the birthday, which was a very nice gesture.
Overall, the restaurant is definitely worth trying.

I’m in London solo for a work trip. I arrived around 6 and there was a line of about 40 people. The staff were handing out chai to people waiting in line and taking their details to book them in. The people in front of me were told it would be around an hour wait. After a 24 hour flight from Sydney, I was too keen on that, but when I told them it was just me, they offered for me to come straight in to eat at the bar.

I sat down and was greeted by Stefan who was super charismatic, made me feel comfortable, and took me through the menu, making recommendations as he went. I took his suggestion of the Pau bhaji and Nihari biryani. Both dishes were incredible. The biryani was huge, and served baked with pastry on top. The flavours were intense, with plenty of spice - just what you want in ann Indian meal - and the lamb inside was tender and delicious.

Stefan checked in a couple of times through the meal, addressing me by my name which was impressive considering how many other people he was serving at the bar.  He explained the best way to eat the dishes with the various condiments.

Overall the experience was incredible and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Lamb chops where a just a tad on the dry side but still very good nevertheless. 
The atmosphere and decor is not as good as the other branch's in my opinion. Didnt have that old school Indian vibe. 
The queue was around 30mins to get in. Special shout out to our waitress Shannon, who gave me the best and most personable service I've had. Make sure you ask for her.

I visited Dishoom with my family after hearing a lot about it. I recommend making a reservation, as it helps you avoid waiting in the queue outside the restaurant. The ambience is lovely, with a great vibe and thoughtfully designed décor.

Service was efficient, and the staff were polite, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. We tried a couple of dishes, and the food was really good, with authentic traditional South Asian flavours. I highly recommend the Okra Fries, House Chaat, Methi Lamb Gosht, and Grilled Masala Prawns — all of them are a bit on the spicy side and full of flavour. If you prefer something milder, the Chicken Ruby is a great option. The Paratha and House Chai are also definitely worth trying and rounded off the meal nicely.

We finished with the Pistachio Kulfi, which brought back nostalgic memories and was a perfect way to end the meal.

Overall, Dishoom offers a great atmosphere with strong branding. The place can feel quite lively and a bit noisy due to the crowds and music, but that adds to the buzz. I would definitely visit again.

Food waa simply amazing. Berry chicken biryani, ruby chicken, charred lamb chops and lassi. Everything was just perfect. Only thing we did not like was the okra fries, it was a bit plain for my taste.
Amazing interiors and great vibe all around. Staff was very friendly and also helped us with explaining the menu.

Hurts to say this as the dinner is really good here but the breakfast was poor. Maybe what I ordered. Once we got some chilli sauce and added salt is was okay. Ordered the Christmas breakfast. Was poor. The vegan breakfast was good. Cheese toast was not hot so the cheese was a lump not soft and stringy. Also lacking any spice or flavour. We had the omelette which was okay. The saving grace was the refill chai. That was amazing. Great service. Staff and decor was good.

As expected, we had a joyful culinary experience at Dishoon's lately. The decent relaxing atmosphere, the quick and friendly service and, of course not to mention at last, the excellent and intensely flavored food convinced the whole family. Especially, the Mutton Pepper Fry and the Fish Amritsari were explicitly mouthwatering. Will come again.

Finally made it to Dishoom Carnaby after hearing it recommended over and over — and even on a rainy Wednesday evening there was still a wait, which definitely says something about its reputation.

The food overall was solid. We were recommended the Goan Monkfish Curry and Methi Lamb Gosht, and also ordered the House Chaat, Garlic Naan, and a couple of drinks. The monkfish curry was interesting — worth trying once, but monkfish is a slightly odd protein for such a great curry base. The Methi Lamb Gosht, on the other hand, was great: tender, deeply flavored, and beautifully cooked (though definitely not as spicy as advertised).

The Garlic Naan was underwhelming, but the House Chaat absolutely stole the show — bright, crunchy, flavorful, and easily the star of the meal.

Overall, a good experience with some real highlights, and I can see why people are loyal to this spot — just go in knowing the menu has a few hits and a few misses.

Indi-go Rasoi Westfield Stratford

I'm torn about my recent visit to Indi Go in Westfield. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere was lovely. I ordered the Lamb Biryani, expecting a flavorful explosion, but what I got was... yellow rice with lamb. And I mean, it was just that. No aroma, no spices, no depth of flavor. It was like they'd taken all the flavor out of the dish and left me with a plate of bland, uninspiring food.

Maybe I just had a bad day, but considering the price point, I'd expect a bit more. If they sorted out the kitchen, Indi Go could be a solid option.

I ordered the mix grill / mix platter. My experience has been terrible. The lamb chop was fine, the tikka was cold and tasted re-heated. The rice was cooked terrible & was hard, it tasted like re-heated multiple times. The Kebab was awfully prepared, it was cold.
Overall: the worst India food I have even had in London, Stratford area.

Had the wrap platter today and the food was totally saltless & not properly warm. When I told that inside wrap is totally saltless the guy(thinner) one didn’t attend my queries properly. One the side  chips was there. Those were not fresh+ over fried & full of spice. After having the food had stomach pain. The lady on the till was laughing with her colleagues and attention for the customer was 0. I had worst food in the westfield today for the first time in last 5 years. In this restaurant this the first time & last time forever for me. People comes in shopping center doesn’t means they are bound to come in your shop. Try to give proper customer service & attention otherwise very soon your business will be disappear from there. Total waste of money👇

Today I walked past this restaurant and saw a man standing on the tables wearing only socks. I honestly don’t understand how something like this can happen in 2025. It’s extremely unprofessional and reflects very poorly on the restaurant and its staff. I felt embarrassed just seeing it. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable, and I hope the management takes action to improve their standards.

Indi-go Rasoi Westfield White City

I had a great experience at Indi.go today. The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavour — truly satisfying!
A special thanks to Qiran who took my order. She was extremely polite, attentive, and professional. The way she interacted and communicated made the whole dining experience even better. Her positive attitude and excellent customer service really stood out.
I would definitely recommend Indi.go to others, not only for the food but also for the outstanding service. Looking forward to visiting again soon

When you charging such high prices for a “posh kebab and chips” you better make it the very best.

Unfortunately not! A very dry kebab with chicken and not much else (nothing like the advertised menu). Here’s an idea, add anything, something, anything!

The meal was dry with zero seasoning and zero effort. There were no sauces and taste just did not exist.  Just a dry mess. Fries again had no sauce and tasted of “chips”!

Sorry. Not sorry. Avoid this one. There are much better options in the centre.

I had their paneer wrap. Food was amazing and super tasty. It’s located at their Westfield food hall so take the atmosphere as you will. Same as any other food hall in that respect, lots of people, but you can still relax at a table and enjoy your meal. Service was good too and food was available quickly

Me and my Mrs went to do some shopping and then we got very hungry so we ordered some food from Indi-Go. We ordered the butter chicken with rice, lamb dish with rice, naan bread and 2 coke

Had the paneer naan taco at Naan Wrap and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly spiced, fresh, and really well put together. The flavours were spot on and genuinely memorable.
Chef Josh and Nana were there as well, and their passion and warmth made the experience even better. Amazing food and great vibes—will definitely be coming back!

We’re elderly, and for health reasons we’re very intentional about what we eat. Generally, we no longer eat fast food.

Last Friday, we had a half hour to fill before medical appointments near Spitalfields. We were hungry. Wandering around the market (and not being attracted to any of the eating places), we noticed Naan Wrap, where a friendly staff member was encouraging passersby to try samples of their bread. The bread is freshly baked in an oven in plain sight. We decided to “risk” ordering from the very welcoming and engaging staff member (owner?) at the counter. I say “risk” because, as I mentioned above, we usually avoid fast food. We ordered paneer and chicken wraps with chips. Our food was very tasty, and nicely presented.

Because we had medical appointments, we decided to take home half of our wraps (thinking we’d throw them away if we thought them unappetising when we got home). Three hours later, after zapping our half-wraps in the microwave oven, we thoroughly enjoyed them.

Overall, our experience of Naan Wrap was a very good one, and we’ll definitely go there again when we’re next in the Spitalfields area.

In my opinion, this friendly, customer-focused business stands out in the very competitive Spitalfields food market, and I highly recommend them.

It was really amazing, I got the butter chicken tacos definitely it’s one of the best tacos I loved the idea the concept, I would try it again and again. Also the mango Lace was very good.

I was roaming around Old Spitalfield Market today and found Naan Wrap while been approached by a wonderful man. The sales guy was very professional, kind and knowledgeable about the menu.

We had 2 taco's and Mango Lassi. It was absolutely mouthwatering, special thanks to chef.

Naan Wrap has a very unique menu of mixtures, from tacos to wrap, rice box to Fries!

It's bit expensive, but the taste is definitely worthy. I'll highly recommend this place.

@scarletrasoi is a newly launched Asian Street Food restaurant in the o2, specialising in an Indian/Thai fusion. We ordered the Petit Dosa and Masala Chips as our sides and loved them, especially the chips as they didn’t wilt and were crispy even when they cooled down 👌🏽 the Indian Mee Goreng was delicious too and the best fusion dish. We didn’t LOVE the butter chicken as it was very tomato...ey? 😂 The Mango Lassi could have been a little thinner and sweeter too. However, we would definitely go back to try more of the dishes including the Lamb Chops and Lamb Roganjosh!

Yes, Indian and Thai, I was had doubts with the combination but I really enjoyed the food here. The open Kitchen is split, on my visit I saw different chefs that handle the Indian menu (70% of the menu is Indian) and separate chefs handle the Thai food

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant today! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. From starters to desserts, everything was spot on and beautifully presented.

A special mention to the staff — especially the gentleman who looked after us mr bimal,He was so polite, attentive, and genuinely caring. He made sure we were comfortable throughout, checked on us at the right times, and gave great recommendations. His warm hospitality truly made our meal even more enjoyable.

We had a group of 9 which they happily accommodated us all very quickly. Our waitress Ramya was lovely from start to finish. Ensured we got our food quickly, the food itself was delicious. Would recommend!

I was craving for a good samosa chat and I happened to bump into Sahil of Scarlet Rasoi who greeted me with a big warm smile. The samosa chat is by far the best one in the Greenwich. Here is why this  samosa chat is the best one- Along with the yoghurt and the mint chutney, they garnish the chat with the anardana chutney (pomegranate chutney) instead of the usual tamarind paste. And apart from hitting the right taste buds, the portion is also wholesome. Therefore I highly recommend the samosa chat at Scarlet Rasoi.

Disappointing Experience – Won’t Be Returning

My partner and I decided to try somewhere different for dinner, but unfortunately, this place was a letdown from start to finish. At first, everything seemed fine, but things quickly went downhill.

Usually, at Indian restaurants, you order mains separately, but some meals here stated they come with curry, rice, and salad. For just under £20 per person, we expected a decent portion. I ordered the lamb curry, and my partner had the chicken. What we got was shocking — a small scoop of rice, a tiny bit of salad, and an extremely small portion of curry. My partner’s chicken curry had maybe five small pieces of chicken in it — very underwhelming for the price.

To make matters worse, while I was still eating, a staff member came over and started rushing us to pay. I was honestly shocked by how rude and pushy she was — never had service like that before. I don’t know if she thought we were going to run off without paying, or if that’s just how they operate to turn tables quickly, but it left a bad taste.

Overall, the food wasn’t authentic, the portions were tiny, and the service was terrible. Definitely won’t be going back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others either.

They serve some good food options, it's heavy on the meat side but they do have some options for vegetarians. Also they mentioned that they do paneer tikka masala but it's not mentioned in the menu for some reason. Drinks were fine, overall a decent place to try. They did not add service charge, which was a welcome change as it's not mandatory and should only be included with the customer's wish.

All of our meat is Halal. We serve alcohol.

What can I say, this was the first time we visited and me and my husband we're blown away!
I booked a table for 3, me, my husband and my 2 year old, I was very surprised that they let us dine with our baby as we have difficulties with alot of the restaurants who do not accept toddlers for dinner, we also do not like to leave him behind and enjoy having him with us in the experience!
I booked the dinner for my husbands birthday, we were held in traffic so I had to return arrange our table twice which to my surprise the team and I will specially mention Palash we're absolutely amazing, he was very very polite and was happy to hold our table. When we arrived Palash informed us that they have held our table for us and to sit on the far corner table as we were with baby (the best seats) we felt like they really thought about us, and we felt very comfortable as our little one can be a little noisy too therefore those seats felt like we weren't in anyone's face and not disturbing others.
Now the food was just mind blowing, me and my husband we're blown away by the different style of food we had, my husband said it took him back to Kolkatta from when he visited years back and that to me was very special. We loved the every single dish!!!! We went for the tasting meal and we were so happy we did because it was more than enough and we got to try a variety so we were happy.
The only reason why I felt like I couldn't give 5* was because there wasn't much options for baby apart from chips which was fine for us as we took his own food with us but the team really tried to cater for him too, we also felt like the aubergine dish was a little too sweet for us but still very tasty, the dessert I felt like it was very tasty but it wasn't much different to what he usually have, although we enjoyed it very very much.
Me and my husband defiantly had one of the best meals in a very long time so thank you to all the team at Chourangi, a special thank you to Palash and the other boys (I couldn't get their names) thank you for playing with my little one and for his sweets (which i will enjoy hehehe)
I honestly could not fault you guys for anything!
We will definitely come back very soon and be your regulars.

Amazing restaurant for authentic Indian Bengali food! The host who served us was so welcoming, always smiling, and made the experience even better. Every dish we tried was really, really tasty – full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Price-wise it’s reasonable, and the portion sizes are just right for one person. Overall, a wonderful place to enjoy delicious Bengali cuisine with warm hospitality. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for Indian food with a difference, this is the place to come. The menu takes inspiration from regional food in India that you don't usually see in a standard curry house. The dishes all tasted great, but the aubergine with mango was the standout feature for us. The service was also friendly and attentive and the decor is stylish and calming. We will definitely be back.

Came after sunset during a weekday. There was no crowd. Excellent service and atmosphere. Ordered chicken butter, steamed rice, and butter naan with cola (cost around 45 GBP). The food taste was average, not spicy, although I asked for it. However, I didn't ask to change the dish or even discuss it with them.

We stopped here on a whim and had some of the best lamb curry we’ve ever had.
The Kosha lamb was perfectly seasoned, tender, melt in your mouth lamb.
The staff recommended this dish and we could see why it was their specialty.
Wish we discovered this place earlier in our visit to London - we would have tried more dishes.

Farzi London

Really impressed by the ‘pre-sales’ interaction from the team at Farzi as well as the dinner service itself.

I needed a private area booking for up to 10 of us two weeks before Christmas and with only 7 days notice. Savio on the customer service team really helped me to sort out the date, time and area we needed for the evening.

The meal itself was wonderful. The Butter Chicken Bao Buns, Lamb Kebab, Fish Gulzar and Beef Nihari being particular highlights. The reality though is that everything we ordered was excellent, great levels of flavour and heat throughout and everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed all of the dishes. The great thing is that the dishes are all a little different to normal India cuisine which surprised all of us and left us wanting more.

The service during the meal was superb, we were waited on by 2 or 3 different team members during the evening ensuring that we had great food regularly and that wine and water was topped up effortlessly and without any prompts or nagging from us.

The surroundings in our private area as well as the decor of the restaurant are all beautifully colourful yet tasteful, and even at the start of the evening when our private area was a little chilly it was remedied immediately and we ended up being very comfortable.

I can’t recommend Farzi enough, not just for the amazing food but the staff were brilliant throughout - it’s this that makes the difference. Every single one of our party commented on it and all came away with the same feeling: we will be back again.

We had the most wonderful experience at Farzi! The booking process was straightforward and once we arrived, we were shown to our lovely table straight away.
Now the food- ABSOLUTELY incredible- in particular the starter options! We have never had anything like the chow mein bhel or the daal chawal arancini before, we have been recommending these 2 specifically to all our friends/family! They are the best items on the menu- well done Farzi!!! The mains were also delicious (CTM and lamb chops), the mocktails complemented our food well and I really enjoyed the Parle G cheesecake (though would suggest to crumble biscuit on the sides and then place a whole biscuit in middle!)
The staff were all very polite and kind, super friendly throughout the meal- and gave us a nice card for our anniversary which was hand signed- a really thoughtful gesture!

Visited Farzi Café near Piccadilly Circus and overall had a very good experience. The chicken tikka masala in the main course was outstanding — perfectly spicy, full of flavour, and easily the highlight of the meal. For starters, the bhel and chicken dumplings were good and enjoyable. The daal was decent and went well with the bread basket.

In drinks, the mojito and chai coconut mocktail were both very nice and refreshing. However, the jasmine and mayo cooler was honestly a disaster — the flavour combination did not work at all. I would strongly recommend either improving it or removing it from the menu.

Overall, it was a good dining experience with great food and a nice atmosphere. Will definitely come back again, especially with a group. Highly recommended for Indian food near Piccadilly Circus.

Visited with a group of four and we were genuinely impressed. The drinks were brilliant, and the food was full of flavour with a great mix of modern and traditional touches. The atmosphere was lively, and the service was warm without being pushy. Overall, a great spot for a fun night out — we’ll definitely be back.

I came here on the 19th Dec 2025, before I went to see Moulin Rouge. The reason I’ve rated everything 5 stars is because I had a great time and food was wonderful. Only issue was that the dumplings I had were very spicy than I expected. Very delicious and I love spicy food, even when I need to gulp a huge glass of ice water afterwards. Also the mango lassi helped cool me down. For the main I had a classic chicken curry with garlic naan which was flavourful and not too spicy. Really enjoyed my meal. The atmosphere is amazing and I went in good time before it got really busy. The only improvement I’d suggest is better lighting in the bathroom because when I had to go, I can barely see my way around lol. Beautiful vibes though. I am very likely to come here again.

Servers Ash and Dom were knowledgeable and attentive and made sure we were very well looked after
Cinnamon has a fabulous vibe catering for young and old in equal measure.

We recently visited for the BBQ brunch as a group of nine, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Aishwarya deserves a special mention for her warm hospitality—she explained every dish in such detail and ensured we felt well taken care of throughout. Her weaving together of flavors, stories, and recommendations made the meal even more enjoyable.

The food itself was outstanding—truly the best Indian food we’ve had. The grilled pink aubergine was exceptional, the pithod saag was rich and flavorful, and the masala uthapam was perfectly made. Even the chai was ausumn! The service was smooth, friendly, and attentive from start to finish.

Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommended!

Been wanting to go here for a while, so dropped for early dinner. Very near Liverpool Street station, just a couple of minutes walk. Very helpful staff and great choice of dishes that are not  standard offerings. Pretty spicy 🔥 dishes but you can still taste the flavours. Went for the veg biryani and spicy white peas. Fish starter was fantastic. £85 for two was worth paying to get some different and well thought out flavours and food.

Good quality food and service. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and went for the brunch option.
To be honest I wasn't expecting much for the price however I was pleasantly surprised. There were a number of different dishes included and good portion sizes.
The brunch option was £29 per person and I think it's definitely worth the money. The quality and flavours of the food were excellent. I would definitely recommend visiting and going for the brunch menu.
I will be visiting again in the near future.

An absolutely outstanding Asian dining experience. The food was a masterpiece; every dish, like the Prawn Curry, Lamb Mince, Laknow Biryani, Fry Fish, Grilled Chicken showed a deep respect for its historical and cultural roots and delivered phenomenal, authentic flavors.

We had a great experience at Cinnamon Kitchen in Battersea. We ordered the mixed grilled plate along with lentils and paneer: everything was cooked beautifully and packed with flavour. The food overall was excellent, and the vegetarian dishes stood out just as much as the grill.
Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, and the atmosphere was warm and stylish, making it a really enjoyable place to eat. Other diners also mention the consistently high quality of the food and the welcoming service, which matches our experience.

The atmosphere is genuinely good and the space is well designed. The food presentation is excellent—everything looks impressive when it arrives.

That said, the taste doesn’t live up to the hype. Overall, the food was average. While the garlic roti and tandoor roti were well made, and the biryani was decent, nothing really stood out in terms of flavour.

Service was just okay—not bad, but nothing memorable either.

In short, it’s a visually appealing restaurant with a nice ambience, but if you’re going purely for taste, it doesn’t quite justify the reputation or expectations.

I went to Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea with my friends for my hen party brunch, and it was a brilliant experience from start to finish. Our waiter, Kranthi, was friendly, attentive, and really made sure we had everything we needed.
The brunch itself was fantastic value. We enjoyed dishes like hummus, beetroot, and Bombay eggs with prata (with the option of extra bread for a small charge). For mains, I had the salmon curry and lamb Rogan Josh, served with pilau rice, black lentils, and a bread basket full of fresh, piping-hot naan — some of the softest and tastiest I’ve ever had. The gluten-free ginger toffee pudding for dessert was a real highlight, and the pistachio coffee was the perfect finish.
Drinks and the 12.5% service charge for large groups were additional, but we still left an extra tip for Kranthi because the service was excellent.
The location is also a huge bonus — it’s right by the river, next to Megan’s at Battersea Power Station, with a free picnic area, a lovely river walk, and all the shopping inside the Power Station. It makes a great spot not just for celebrations, but also for families, couples, and friends to enjoy a day out.
I’d highly recommend Cinnamon Kitchen Battersea for its food, service, and unbeatable setting.

Had a wonderful Indian afternoon tea experience here, the food was amazing and the service from Kranthi was exceptional, he was very attentive & gave my friend and I unlimited chai. We also didn’t feel rushed and ended up staying for 4 hours which was really lovely. They also adjusted the menu to cater to our preferences between meat and vegetarian which was so nice. Genuinely highly recommend coming here for an Indian afternoon tea and will be back myself 🤗

Best experience here today with my wife and friends for lunch. We came here for the first time ever and kranthi was so kind and helpful throughout with the service. Definitely coming back next time and looking forward to the same kinda hospitality.

We went on a family outing to celebrate a relative’s first anniversary. It was a Saturday evening, just as the restaurant opened, and we had made an earlier reservation for the group.
The service was excellent, from a warm welcome, to accommodating our request for seating that allowed space for a baby in a pram. The waiters were especially friendly with our two young children and even gave them a little treat (boxed brownies) at the end of the meal.
We ordered a variety of starters including poppadoms, paneer, prawns, and chaat. The prawns were fantastic, well cooked with just the right amount of spice for a little kick. The only small criticism was that the poppadoms could have been served with larger portions of dips.
For the mains, we had steak, a mixed grill, curries, and burgers for the kids. Everything was cooked well, full of flavour, and enjoyed by all. The chops and steak in particular received rave reviews.
To finish, we ordered a selection of desserts along with kharak chai. The desserts were excellent, rich in flavour, with the right texture and moisture. The chai was smooth, flavoursome, and perfectly sweetened.
Before leaving, it was time for prayers, and once again the staff accommodated us by providing a prayer area and prayer mats.

Overall, the experience was outstanding. The combination of great food, excellent service, and a clean, spacious setting makes this restaurant ideal not just for casual meals, but also for celebrating special occasions. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely be going back to try more of the dishes we didn’t get to sample this time.

First time coming here and it was to celebrate my brother's birthday. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The decor is amazing and the place is very clean. The food was really nice. Mocktail was amazing! Loved the dessert too. Would definitely recommend.

First time here with family and we all loved it. We came when it was rather quiet. All the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. All our courses was delicious. The restaurant was clean. Parking available in a nearby carpark free in the evening. Praying facilities also available. Staff also gave free brownie favour to the kids. Will return again.

Our waiter Azi was exemplary, recommended dishes and was on hand at every course. When the food arrived, it looked lovely and tasted great! The lamp chops and chilli paneer where great!!

I was a little disappointed that our briyani's won't as amazing, but still tasted good and the portion size was reasonable (enough to per portion for one adult and a child i would say)

On a final note, make sure you get the cheesecake and try the mocktails, I had a blue pineapple mohito and it was superb!!

there’s free parking near the back in the academy in the evenings, and the interior of the restaurant is lovely for gatherings !

they did forget one of the dishes we ordered and a drink, so we had to cancel one item off the menu - but they were quite quick with their service otherwise
