Ticca Tikka Dalston

My husband and I were initially going to try a vegan Vietnamese restaurant on Kingsland Rd but when we saw this place had a separate vegan and vegetarian menu, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to try the food. The man who served us was very polite and friendly and explained the various vegan and vegetarian options. The poor guy was on his own that night, but he did really well in explaining the situation and gave us complimentary pappadums and sauces while we waited for our food. The food itself was absolutely delicious. We had the vegan meatball curry, the tofu tikka Lababdar, the mushroom curry, samosas, and vegetable rice. Everything was super tasty and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for vegan or vegetarian Indian food.

Grateful for the variety of vegan options here! There is an abundance of choice. The Vegan mango lassi was very delicious. I also really enjoyed the sag tofu and mushroom rice! I would skip the vegan butter chicken next time but it wasn’t bad! Overall very yummy meal and friendly service

Such a wonderful place with a really extensive menu and very kind staff. Had the Bombay butter masala with paneer and it was delicious, the sauce had so many flavours. Got the paratha to go alongside and absolutely divine. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!
