Overall I think the food is good and tasty, though I’m not entirely convinced the price tag is worth it as the portions are small. Lineup was considerable but they bring out chai tea to the waiting customers. As I don’t recall the specific dish names, it’ll be a bit generic. Shrimp: dry but flavourful. Okra fries: well seasoned, crispy. Baked rice: average. Chicken curry: rich, recommended. Salad: not very impressive.

We tried Dishoom in Covent Garden and overall had a good experience, but it didn't quite live up to the hype for me. The Sheekh Kebab was flavorful but extremely spicy - honestly everything was spicy. I know it's an Indian restaurant so | shouldn't be surprised, but still! The Chicken Tikka was delicious, and the Black Daal was also good, just spicier than I prefer. I'm fine with a little heat, but I don't think l'd order those same dishes again. The place is also very crowded and noisy, which makes the whole experience feel a bit overrated. Still, the food quality is solid and worth trying at least once.

We were traveling from the US and kept seeing incredible reviews about Dishoom—so we had to stop by! Even with a party of seven, with no reservation the queue moved quickly and we were seated in about 45 minutes. The food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. We especially loved the okra fries and butter chicken. The servers were extremely attentive to our allergies and very helpful with recommendations. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Dishoom restaurant was recommended as a must visit by friends, so decided to give it a try. Hadn’t booked a table, so there was a 25 mins waiting time at the time we were there at 11:45 am. Once seated the menu and steel tumblers gave a “vintage movie feel” even the decor with the signs in English and Hindi. The menu was limited, however, the food was delicious. I would have to say that the portion sizes, though labeled “generous”, fell short of expectations. Overall a good place to visit and tick a box.
