Kadiris Willesden Green

Heya :) We went to Kadiri's during our stay in London. The food was delicious, came quickly and the waiter was super nice! My bf was happy with the mutton biryani he ordered. Usually he's a lil disappointed when he eats biriyani out. Not this time. He enjoyed it :) I was a lil irritated because of the menu. In the internet are many vegan options but when we went there, there was only one hot meal and a few salads. Maybe it was because we went there shortly after lunchtime?! So as a vegan I would have loved if there would have been the vegan options that were shown on the internet but tbf I was very happy with what I got (bombay aloo)😊🙏🏼

wow! i had previously only known kadiris as a local institution for its biriyani but eating in the restaurant for the first time we ordered a handful of their starters/side dishes as well and were surprised by how good everything was. the onion bhaji, chilli garlic mogo, and chapli kebab were all great but the highlight of the starters was certainly these little lamb burgers, so tasty and juicy - a perfect little mouthful. we also ordered their famous biriyani and this was incredible, perfect fluffy rice on a bed of the curried spring lamb which was super tender and flavourful. the family size is recommended for 5 people but we barely made a dent in it, a really generous portion which we mostly took home.

Had a really lovely lunch! The food was excellent, and the service was spot on. The Italian girl who looked after us was so warm and welcoming, and her menu suggestions were perfect. The place has such a cozy, homey feel. We’ll definitely be back!
