We had an absolutely wonderful experience! The food was simply amazing — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The ambiance made the whole experience even better, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that felt both elegant and comfortable. What truly stood out was the service — the staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. A truly memorable dining experience that I’d love to repeat! The team went above and beyond to make my birthday celebration truly unforgettable. Not only were we warmly welcomed, but we were also surprised with an upgrade to one of their stunning private dining vaults – an intimate, elegant space that made the evening feel even more special. The hospitality didn’t stop there. The staff graciously brought out complimentary dishes to enhance our meal, each beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. The highlight was a decadent complimentary dessert that felt like the perfect final touch to an already extraordinary evening. The food itself was outstanding – every course was a perfect balance of bold, authentic Indian flavours and refined presentation. From the spices to the textures, it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had, and a reminder of why Gymkhana is so highly regarded. This was awhile back that we went and I hear they sadly now enforce a tasting menu! That alone has dropped my rating from a 5 to a 4 because that behavior forced you a certain direction and with a restaurant that services this range of items… I would have a hard time agreeing to a tasting menu. Especially since we went family style and paid significantly less for probably more food. Food 5/5: Fantastic… on all my travels I have missed India, but I can’t imagine it gets better than this. Service 5/5: Quick, attentive and friendly. Not strong with recommendations when we went, but we ended up ordering many items anyways. Atmosphere 4/5: Beautiful and themed appropriately, but dark. I get that’s a thing with fine dining, but this was almost too dark.
