Well a very anticipated visit but turned out to disappoint. Firstly it’s not a pocket friendly place so mind it, only visit for special occasions. We visited on a Thursday evening and to our surprise the place was packed. It was very noisy which ruined the ambience. We decided to ditch the mains and tried 3 starters, Chicken lollypop, Chicken 65 and Lasuna tangdi. With the hope that our search for a good lollypop will finally end here, we were left disappointed. The food was just average, nothing extraordinary about it when compared to cheaper peers. The lasuni tangdi had absolutely no garlic flavour to it and was just a regular tandoori. The 65 was on the sweeter side with lots of mustard, contrary to the crispy fried version with curry leaves I usually enjoy in south India. The prices are exorbitant for its location and ambiance. Prices are at par with some of the good restaurants in central London. Now to the good part, the staff is kind and good with their service. My advice go if you are in the mood to spend or celebrate a special occasion. We paid 47£ for just 3 starters and a coke.

🌟 A Dining Experience to Remember From the moment we walked in, this restaurant delivered excellence on every front. The food was simply outstanding—flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly crafted with care. But what truly elevated the evening was the exceptional service. Our waitress, Riddhima, was an absolute gem. Warm, friendly, and effortlessly professional, she made us feel welcome and well cared for throughout the meal. Her attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm were remarkable—she’s a natural in the service industry and clearly loves what she does. The mixed grill was outstanding! It’s rare to find a place where both the cuisine and the hospitality shine so brightly. We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be recommending it to everyone we know. A big Thank you to Riddhima & The New Yorker behind the bar.

Went there at 6 pm and it was full already.. we had our reservation so that was fine. Loved their food, kurkuri bhindi, daal makhni and bread basket and also other starters were all good. It was extremely busy but we had Ankit serving us who was absolutely attentive and they also got us a surprise birthday brownie in the end. Highly recommend this place for the Indian food. Although I did not like their Palak Patta chaat, was too sweet and soggy for me.

Had a really nice experience at Social Dhaba, we went for Lunch just as it opened around 12:30pm. So relevantly quiet but was nice with staff really engaging. We ordered the Non-Veg Thali , Masala Omelette, Chilli Paneer, Mogu Chips and Chilli Paneer. Everything was super nice and cooked well. thalli honestly could be enough for 2. Plenty of Naan and Rice companies by a variety of small plates. Good pricing as well for Lunch Menu and they had some good options. We spent roughly around £27 per person and had plenty of food. Would come again.
