Looking for somewhere to eat in Chinatown and my family and I found this pleasant surprise, very tasty burgers and their sauces are unique in the city.  the staff very friendly.  I recommend them.

I came here for lunch to try the limited time camel sliders. I also tried the spicy chicken sliders. The camel was a bit bland but the spicy chicken was very tasty. Would love to come back to try more of the menu items. The service was quick and friendly. And lastly, all of their meat is halal. Highly recommend.

The Hot Dog in this restaurant was exquisite, I loved its homemade version with tomato and lettuce.  I ordered it with double sausage.  The flavor is spectacular, I recommend it, the staff was very attentive.

Really tasty burgers and sliders. We also tried the milkshakes which were also good. I really appreciate that they posted all their halal and zabiha certifications clearly. Only complaint is that their soda machine was down so no fountain drinks.

DELICIOUS:-) Food was super fresh and so so so tasty. Each Asian dish they made tasted authentic to its region and was full of flavor. You can sit outside now (because of covid) under some shade and enjoy the food. Staff was so friendly and prices were reasonable. I’ll be back for sure;-)

Definitely a 5-Star lunch special! There are so many options and the portions are huge. My favorite is the Chicken Curry Laksa with the steamed dumplings. Add a Thai iced tea and you have the perfect lunch. The staff is really nice and I've never had to wait for a table. Also great for takeout.

Great pan-Asian food.  Everything made from scratch by owner.  Long-term fixture of the neighborhood that never disappoints.  Highly recommend the dumplings, coconut and turmeric fried rice and crispy, grilled chicken with rice noodles.  all the Thai and Malaysian food is wonderful.  Get delivery, takeout or sit outside and be waited on by owner’s son.

MUST VISIT! It has - Thai, Vietnamese & Malaysian food. And all 3 of them are packed with flavor & you won't be disappointed at all! I had Uncle Plum's Dumplings, Mixed Seafood Curry Laksa and Rendank Nasi Lemank. The seafood Curry was simply brilliant! A perfectly spiced seafood coconut curry with egg noodles. MUST HAVE.

The owners of this restaurant are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status. Only the chicken is reported to be halal by the Muslim owner.

As a local resident, I have had the pleasure of dining at Ravagh Persian Grill on several occasions, and I can confidently say that it's one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is simply amazing.

What sets Ravagh apart from other Persian restaurants in the area is their kebab. It's simply out of this world! The meat is always cooked to perfection, juicy, and tender, with just the right amount of seasoning. The portions are generous, and you can always expect your dish to be served piping hot and fresh.

In addition to their amazing kebab, Ravagh also offers a variety of other Persian dishes that are equally impressive. Their stews and rice dishes are full of flavor, and the vegetarian options are equally delicious. And let's not forget about the fresh bread they serve, which is simply irresistible.

The staff at Ravagh are also incredibly friendly and attentive. They are always happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions you may have about the menu. The service is top-notch, and the staff always go above and beyond to ensure that your dining experience is enjoyable.

The food was DELICIOUS!!! They were attentive servers, but didn't push us out. My favorite was the chicken kabob with specialty rice, it had barberries and saffron! So yummy. We had Persian food in another city and wanted to see if we could find some in Manhattan. My mom and I shared yummy baklava and my husband had lemon sorbet in the lemon shell. He didn't leave any left.

I tried several Persian food restaurants in different places and this one is no less than them. It is a good restaurant with good food and service. We tried the beef and lamb kebab and the beef was better in taste. The lamb was a little spicy but overall both were delicious! The starter was traditional eggplant and was excellent.

This is my second time eating here and I'm never disappointed. The cherry rice is probably the most amazing rice I have ever eaten. Staff and menu is amazing. If you're looking for a meal this is the place to go to fill up your belly...lol

Great place, huuuge portions, prices are regular if not low. Meat is tender and tasting fresh. I been there maybe 8 times, always enjoyed. Try their Sultani kabob, that gives you the best bounce for an ounce. Salads and appetizers are good too, they could be entire meal in itself.

Atmosphere is great, pleased my lady because someone felt that this place was a top romantic spot in NYC. Figured why not give it a try. Place is nice, the decor is amazing, the atmosphere is beautiful. Definitely a date night spot. The food and the service ehhhhhh, not so good. We sat outside and felt forgotten, the waiter checked on us once, then we got a new waitress, so who knows what was going on.  What was known is that the food, for the price was not that great. No flavor, very bland. The dessert we ordered was good though. So in the end not so worth the whiskey 🥃

I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!

2. QUALITY.
The food quality is the worst! I don't feel well right after we leave the restaurant, and today is not the best day either.

3. TASTE QUALITIES OF DISHES.
The taste of the dishes was also tasteless. We ordered:
- Hamam Mahshi specialties $52
Egyptian pigeons stuffed with jasmine rice were served with milk soup” (it was the most expensive plate), but the meat and rice were tasteless at all, I sure can say it was BAD!
- Lavash (3 pieces) $ 6 (it was warmed bread, not freshly made).
- Humus
Mashed chickpeas with the addition of Harris, $12 (it was such a small mini-bowl that you might not find it in my photos.

4. PRICE.
The price is expensive!

5. BELLY DANCE.
The restaurant's page states that belly dancing is held from 8:00 to 10:30 pm. We arrived at 9.35, but there was no dance performance, the waiter said that the dancer had already finished, but at 10.30 pm she would dance the next dance. But no one is dancing at 10.30 pm! We asked the receptionist at 10.50, and she looked at her watch and went to ask someone, after she said there would be a performance inside in 10 minutes, we went in, and this performance was less than 2 minutes!!!
After that, we ended our evening there, in a bad place and feelings.

Don't make the same mistake! Don't go there! It doesn't pay off at all.

The place has exceptional service. Everyone’s super kind and makes you feel comfortable. The food is also great. However, it is very expensive considering how small the portions are.

I wanted to try this place for a long time, and on Mother’s Day, I told my boys that’s where you taking me)))
It is absolutely beautiful restaurant, the interior design is very very pretty.
Unfortunately they served only Mother’s Day special menu, and if you wanted anything else, than they won’t do any substitutions, but would make whatever you wanted on top of the special, that was a bummer;(((. For example if we didn’t want to have the salad from the special,, which was just a green salad ( just leaves) and wanted to swap it
for a Greek salad, they told us that we can’t swap it, we will gat that Arugula salad anyway and would need to pay extra for a Greek salad. So that green salad was a joke - very little portion size.  The appetizer - mezza, was not enough for 4 people for sure.
And it took quite a long time for food to arrive.
Our server seems to be in a rush all the time.
So when the food came , our lamb chops were Rare, instead of Medium Rare . So we tried to get our waiter for that, waited a long long time, nobody couldn’t find him. After probably half an hour , We were lucky that the manager came and was super polite and listened to our concern and took the plates back to cook the chops better. It took a while, but when they brought them, they were just great.
So if it wasn’t for manager , I would probably give that restaurant a 1 star.

We went there for my boyfriends birthday. The place is sooooo cute! We loved the food, cocktails and decor.

Raw authentic Indian food. It’s culinary food only for those with a pallet that understands and appreciates the hard work it took to create such a significant meal. My wife and I spent our first dinner as a married couple here!

Came here for company dinner to celebrate women owned business. We love the mom and daughter duo running this restaurant they were so nice and welcoming! The food was great everything was delicious. Their seasonal cocktails were fun and tasty. The salad got some of our friends on fire though we thought they were string beans and not chili lol. Overall, 10/10 would recommend this place! And they're starting weekend bottomless brunch would definitely go back and give they a try!

Amazing drinks and appetizers! Though the appetizers portion is small I understand it’s a restaurant in NYC.

Paneer Curry, Cauliflower (gobi) were tasty!

The Lamb Vindaloo was especially excellent, with a complex flavor profile consisting of vinegar, ginger, garlic, jaggery & chili (spicy) that is both fiery and flavorful. The Dahi Bhalla with the Lentil dumplings, tamarind-mint chutney, yogurt was refreshing and the Rajwadi Paneer was soft and smooth with a balanced combination of onion, bell pepper, yogurt and masala sauce. If you're looking for a truly authentic Indian dining experience, Paisley at Greenwich St is the place to go.

Absolutely delicious!  We went here for our daughter’s birthday, and we’re very impressed.  Excellent service and great atmosphere.  Definitely recommend. Lamb curry was amazing!

We stopped by to have lunch with the family. We loved the food, it was full of flavours, my kids loved it, the portions are big. I ended up packing the rest for takeout as i couldnt finish it all. The meat, the salad, their variety of flavoured rice i tried, are all great and we enjoyed it very much.

I only like the free bread the best. I order chicken kabob and lamb stew. Both are just so so. We 2 people ate about $40, which is really worth the price. However, the food is just too average that it wouldn’t attract me to come here again.

This is a top notch Persian cuisine with high quality kebabs, rich stews, and fantastic rice dishes. Highly recommend the Albaloo Polo rice as well as the Zereshk Polo which are both traditional. Baklava is homemade and of high quality.

Truly delicious and traditional Persian cuisine. We tried to order a bit of everything and were incredibly happy with everything here. From the delicious flavors of the food, to the large portions of food, to the quick and very friendly service - it was all on point. I would 10/10 return here again next time I am in the city and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to have some delicious Persian food!

We had lunch at the restaurant on Madison Ave. The quality of food was good overall, although some of them had flaws which cannot go unnoticed by Iranian people: for example, the bread which was served was not Barbari bread at all and it was served with a green sauce with Jalapeños which is obviously not Persian, and another one which was yogurt and cucumber but not Masto Khiar as traditionally the yogurt shouldn’t have been so liquid. As per Persian tradition bread has to be served with dense plain yogurt or Masto Moosir or bread with cheese and cucumber. The waiting time to get the food served was longer than in other places. The restaurant was very busy. The quality and the quantity of the meat in koobideh were very good, and the meat was cooked perfectly and juicy, although the koobideh taste was not the taste it should be, it reminded me more of an hamburger to be honest. The quality and the cooking quality of the rice was perfectly and the smell was alright. Salad Shirazi was in good quantity but dill was added instead of mint! Moreover, I couldn’t taste the onion and salt and lemon were missing. Ghormeh Sabzi was good for Persian standards. The staff were very kind and helpful. The restaurant itself is modern and clean, with Persian songs broadcasted. overall recommended if you don’t have great expectations.

Balade

The food here is hands down delicious. I very much enjoyed the taste of Lebanese culture that was expressed through the food I had here today. My friends and I decided to split the supreme mix which consisted of most of the meats served here, all cooked to perfection and flavorful. The rice was nothing special and I enjoyed the salty fries.
The reason I rated three starts is because
1) it was a hot, humid New York City day & the restaurant barley had AC on, luckily I wore lots of deodorant 😂.
2) this place has been getting some attention lately so how could they let their bathroom be out of sorts? My daughter ran out saying she saw a bug on the toilet and it made my heart drop. When I checked the bathroom there was in fact a small roach but even more strange… no toilet seat!
3) like I mentioned earlier, I had brought my daughter (7 years old) who asked the waitress for lemonade and when coming around toward the end of the bill the waitress had asked if she wanted another one, my daughter being a child excitedly said yes however I strongly said no… low and behold the waitress brought another lemonade and decided to charge us for it too…… the only thing worse than paying for something you ordered is something you didn’t want/order? 😂

Lastly this place looks very big in pictures but it’s definitely deceiving lol.

Come for the food!!

Love this place. Ate here for the second time on Friday. I lived in Lebanon for five years and can attest that the food is authentic and well prepared. We were a group of 4 women- had a hummus and fattoush (salad) to start and then the deluxe platter. Yes it is an expensive platter at $89, but it was enough meat for all 4 of us and we didn’t even finish it all! So we felt it was fairly priced. Service was great also, highly recommend

The food was the best Lebanese food of my life, other than my grandmother’s! You can rarely find sfia on a menu, and this was a total highlight, spiced and cooked perfectly, from the baked dough to the beef mixed with pine nuts, to the touch of cinnamon and allspice (I think!) The tabbouleh was also perfection, heavy on tomatoes and parsley, very light on bulgur wheat. We loved the vegetarian grape leaves, the labneh with a delicate layer of olive oil on top, the hummus and the fattoush. Be sure to get the vegetarian sampler plate so that you can sample all these dishes.

Another wonderful Halal spot. Our waiter Mohammed was a wonderful person to be around and the food was so delicious. My favorite was the hummus with lamb. A very tight spot and I would recommend getting there early to be able to get a good place to sit. Love it. Oh and definitely try the baklava.

Went for lunch, staff were very friendly and efficient. Sat in the outside dining area which was very fancy for an outside dining area. Had the dogs with me, and they were warmly greeted and well looked after as well :). Ordered the shish kebab and the chicken salad. They were cooked to order, which took an extra couple of minutes but lead to beautiful things happening on our plates. Absolutely delicious, nice big portions. A real gem. Will definitely be going back.

Having visited GupShup a couple of times and explored a number of dishes on their menu, I would argue that it is one of the best Indian restaurants in Manhattan.

Offering a fantastic array of mouthwatering dishes that are plated to perfection in an ambiance that is carefully curated, GupShup offers a truly spectacular dining experience that is worth a visit.

The Butter Chicken wings, the Lucknowi Chicken Biryani, Pav Bhaji, the Keema Pav, Onion Chili Cheese Kulcha, Masala Chai, were all excellent. The service was a bit slow (but they were also overwhelmed with demand). All in all, we have greatly enjoyed our visits and look forward to being back for more.

I recently had my birthday brunch at GupShup, and I was blown away! The service was fast, the food was absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. I've been here twice before and every experience has been top-notch.

Some of my favorites from the vegetarian prix-fixe menu included the paneer cheese rolls, idli & sambar, pav bhaji, and saag paneer.

Whether you're planning a small gathering or a big party, I highly recommend GupShup. This restaurant has it all - great food, fantastic service, and a fun atmosphere!

I recently dined at this restaurant and overall had a satisfactory experience. The first thing that caught my attention upon entering was the impressive ambiance and interior design. The restaurant had a modern and elegant feel, creating a comfortable atmosphere.

Now, let's talk about the food. While some dishes were on the pricier side ( we spent ~280$ for 4) ,  there were a few standout items that made the visit worthwhile. The Kheema Pav, Jackfruit tacos and Dahi Puri were absolutely fantastic.  The cocktails are unique & delightful . The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was impeccable. If you're not a fan of intensely spicy food, you'll appreciate the fact that they cater to a milder palate.

We had made a reservation for 10 o'clock, so it felt like they rushed our service.  Also we fews dishes (like biryani) were unavailable at that time.

I would recommend giving this place a try, but it's worth considering the timing of your reservation to ensure a more relaxed dining experience.

Lovely food and drink game and glamorous surroundings !

Great spot for innovative and yummy Indian food - we got there around 7 Saturday and no Dino reservations open till 930 so hung out at the bar for appetizers. The food was AMAZING (especially the methi soy chaap) and the bartender kept us good company.

Two minor quibbles - seems like on weekend there are no open spots if you walk in - everything seems reserved ( or so it seems but at the bar we heard selective people being seated in-spite of no reservations)

And the second - they need your phone number even if you sit at the bar - no reasoning why - while I appreciate that is how their reservation system may works - the hostess at the front needs to be a bit more cool about it - a few folks walked out due to this weird requirement and no reasoning on why this is the case.

I loved the food, it tasted great and it was lighter than similar dishes at other Indian restaurants. The crispy okra with avocado was a real pleaser, and the fish meilee pure joy of tender fish and curry with mustard. The paratha was flaky and yet it tasted more like a baked bread. All good things. Lots more on the menu that I'd like to try; many appetizers looked quite creative.

The atmosphere was trendy and airy, though the loud music put me off somewhat.

The staff came to check in often.

212 Steakhouse

Came for lunch for a party of 3 and had the whole restaurant for our table. Everything was impeccable and spectacular. The service and close attention to detail were top notch. Our waiter was a pleasure to have and very professional. The food tastes just as good, if not better than it looks in the pictures. I HIGHLY recommend trying the Kobe if you haven’t yet, and the octopus. Both were truly other worldly and I was speechless. I did not want to swallow and just kept chewing! The creamed spinach and lobster Mac and cheese are delicious sides, not too heavy and just delectable. One nit pick is that the sides go cold very quickly which made the consistency thicker than I like. Will most definitely recommend to my friends and family.

Let me just say, the hostesses were very welcoming (which was a rare occurrence in NY). The table we sat at was placed on an awkward rising in the floor which made my chair keep slipping back and the table most uneven. The servers was subpar. They were not quick nor attentive. We had to call their attention several times to get drinks or refills. The main one seemed annoyed from introduction. The lobster bisque, was like broth with a fair amount of lobster- nothing to write home about. The steaks were delicious enough, could have done without the pound and a half of whole peppercorns on them (and in every dish)! The sides were so bland and tasteless. Very disappointing. The chicken should not be on the menu. It tasted like they brushed rosemary over the chicken and then prepared it. It was wildly upsetting. The spicy pasta was awful and undercooked. The best part was their oysters! That sauce was amazing. That was worth the buy.
It’s not a place that I would want to visit again when I come out here, but those oysters I would definitely recommend! Seeing all the TikTok recommendations, I’m thoroughly disappointed with the recommendation. Mediocre at best. Now what I’d expect for $718 bill. We left and had to pick something up to eat.

Phenomenal! You are paying a pretty penny especially for the Halal steaks but food and service were excellent.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at 212 Steakhouse in NYC for a quick birthday dinner with friends and was blown away by the experience. From start to finish, everything was top-notch, from the service to the food to the ambiance.

The standout dish of the night was undoubtedly the Australian Wagyu Dry-Aged Bone-In Ribeye 32 oz. for two. This was hands down the best tasting steak I've had in New York, and that's saying a lot. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection - juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The dry aging process really brought out the rich, beefy flavor of the meat, and the bone-in cut added an extra depth of flavor that made each bite even more delicious.

To accompany the steak, we ordered two sides - the Lobster Mac and Cheese and the Brussels Sprouts. Both were excellent, with the Lobster Mac and Cheese being particularly noteworthy. The cheesy, creamy goodness was elevated by the addition of chunks of succulent lobster meat, making it an indulgent and delicious treat.

The service at 212 Steakhouse was equally impressive, with attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff who were happy to make recommendations and answer any questions we had. Our water glasses were never empty, and our plates were cleared in a timely manner.

Overall, I would give 212 Steakhouse a five-star rating without hesitation. If you're looking for a truly exceptional steakhouse experience in NYC, this is the place to go.

Amazing! For a high end steak house i enjoyed the overall dining experience. Our server really helped us with recommendations on steaks good for two. I ordered the grilled octopus as appetizer, we then had the 3 oz kobe waygu steak and a dry aged ribeye steak with the truffle mash as a side. The grilled octopus was very tender and soft and flavorful. The kobe waygu was DELICIOUS it was quite an experience with the melting in your mouth. The truffle mash was perfect paired with the ribeye steak. I got everything medium rare and ended it off with the chocolate scouffle. our bill came out to 300$ after tip and tax. Definitely something to try once in awhile!

We have many halal options which are indicated on the menu. Halal food is cooked and prepared separately to non-Halal items.

The menu and service were beyond our expectations. We surely enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. Extraordinary spot to take my family out for lunch.

I have heard great things about this place and want to support a local restaurant but people should be aware that we ordered our food at 5pm and it is 6:45 and we still haven’t received it. We live just a few blocks from the restaurant- almost 2 hours seems too long to wait.

This restaurant is my number one place.  Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. Whenever  I want to go to a delicious meal, this is the place that comes instantly to my mind. exeptionalgorgeous and all kinds of  food and a rich cuisine.great crew, and nice mood. And very important, the charge is reasonable. I praise this spot with great pleasure.

I dine in this great restaurant quite a bit! This is the best place to grab a bite.  I go there routinely. The food is just great, the team is helpful and the rates are decent. I like going in this spot over a tasty dinner.

small takeaway with limited seating but burgers are really nice. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for juicy halal burgers.. my only criticism is that i felt the onion rings were over fried but others in the group liked this. Really tasty, juicy burgers. Lots of choice and amazingly flavourful garlic fries. The curly fries are really crispy and very enjoyable. I don’t think that the chicken burger is as good as the beef and in my opinion it’s best to stick to the beef. But still, really good Halal burger.

All our burgers are grass-fed Angus beef, Kobe beef, Lamb, and Chicken are certified Halal.

Oh K-Dog NYC (West Village)

This is a true little gem! The k-dogs were really good, the batter nice and crispy, great sauce selection. We also had some piping hot tteokpokki and an avocado/egg toast. Definitely recommended

Perfect comfort food. So tasty Korean Hot dog and the sandwiches were delicious. The price is not elevated, so a good place for some fast lunch/dinner

It's less crowded at this location in the West Village compared to the one in the Lower East Side. As always the offerings are tasty.

Good food at a solid price ($7), good for when not feeling too hungry.

I've been to both NYC locations and they each have their pros and cons. The west village location is bigger with a bit of indoor and out door seating. You're also able to order from outside if you don't want to go in. There isn't an option to customize your rice dog order which is a little letting down as I would have loved to gotten potatoes on my order. There's also seems to be less of a wait than the Ludlow location.

Service was great. Everyone was very friendly. Ordered the mac & cheese, herb fries, shrimp sushi roll, arugula and avocado salad and the saltbae tomahawk. Food was good but I was expecting great. Meat tasted good but I've had better for less money. We ordered the tomahawk medium but it came out medium rare. After the sliced it, the brought out a hot cast iron plate and cooked it a little longer for us.

This is a great place to go if you’re on an expense account.  The steak for three is just unbelievably delicious they include a very generous portion of butter served on a hot plate.  I did not have dessert here but I hear the baklava is delicious.

The meat was really delicious! The steak we chose was cooked right in front of us! The service super fast!
Our waiter Yusuf provided an exceptional service! He was super friendly, fast on service and provided great recommendations regarding the food selections! We would def come back!

Not worth it! I don’t mind paying a high price if the food and service are amazing but this is not the case. As starter we had the beef carpaccio, for main course the nusret special for two and sweet corn, 2 glasses of wine and for dessert the baklava. The service was fine but nothing special, the food is good but not incredibly delicious…
My expectations were high and I wouldn’t go back because to me is not worth what we paid.

Gazab is a really good choice to get some delicious food. The staff was so nice and welcoming, the food was great, and a very fair price for it all. The restaurant is clean and decorated beautifully. Definitely will be returning!

Hands down the best Indian food in the city. For someone who never writes reviews, I had to stop my meal just to write this. Definitely worth every penny. The food is delicious!

Most Delicious Food in Whole NYC. I bet if you visit Once you will be Addicted to Taste of Food. Staff is really very good.
But always go with Reservations.  Sitting Place is small but very busy and you have to wait in Queue.

Blue Fin

Upon walking into Blue fin, you immediately escape the hustle and bustle of Time Square and enter the oasis style and decor that Blue Fin creates. From the ocean like wave wall... the the glass lights designed to look like Jelly Fish. This establishment has it all. Their cocktail bar upstairs is gorgeous and inviting, with lots of seats. The menu is wonderfully put together with an incredible selections from both the kitchen and sushi bar. I love coming to this place, and i cant wait to come back. The staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful. And everyone always has a great smile on their face.

We love hanging out. Last night we went to this delicious restaurant which we didn’t know before. We enjoyed a delightful experience there with superb food and  an experienced crew and a great cook. We put this place in our phone list  and we shall definitely return soon. We warmly recommend.

Blue Fin is always excellent.  I especially love the sushi sampler and the bang bang edamame.  My child loves the filet mignon!   It's especially a pleasure when it's not packed.  We try to go early or late so we can sit and enjoy the food and soothing atmosphere.

Good for quick bite. $14 for two legs, rice salad and pita. Strong value. Chicken is crispy on the outside, tender on inside. Lives up to its name.

Best grilled chicken in the city. Just very small restaurant but the food is delicious.  The interior & bathroom not so great but if your looking for a quick bite this is the place.

My new spot. Have gone the past two days. First time got a 5 buck falafel sandwich which was tasty. Next day I got back for the 11 dollar 2 chicken breast special. This plate was huge served over rice and salad. Pita on top as well. I recommend getting it with white sauce. Chicken was delicious. Amount of food for the price is top notch. Will be going back a lot

OMG This place is very very popular. They have the best grilled salmon in manhattan for a very reasonable price. They also have tasty whole grill chicken. And when I say grill it means they are really grilled. And they have other dishes too. But if you think based on the outlook you are gonna miss everything. They are really quick and friendly. This is one of my favorite place in Manhattan.

Wow. This restaurant blew me away. It does everything it is supposed to do right, right. From the moment I was first greeted at the door to the moment I left, everything was great. They truly understood the Restaurant Week assignment and executed every dish that we ordered, to perfection. They will have my business in the future for sure. We ordered the hummus, tabbouleh, fattoush, black iron shrimp, salmon, chicken breast and the two desserts. Everything was amazing. It was a new burst of flavor, texture and temperature with every dish we ate. The service is great, each course of the dinner was checked on by our waitress and the waters were always full. I will say that this restaurant can certainly step up the furniture in terms of the chairs and tables, and it will be the finishing touch it needs. The chairs felt slightly flimsy and too laid back for something that I’d like to lounge in. The table itself can use some real candles instead of the fake ones. I appreciate the technology with mobile payments through the wait staffs mobile devices, but I felt uncomfortable touching the screen multiple times to pay for my meal. Overall, great experience that can be enhanced through minor touches.

Oh Ilili, I have nothing but compliments for this restaurant. The ambience is simultaneously homey yet upscale (God bless the interior designers and decorators). You’re definitely going to feel welcomed as the guests and staff represent various ethnicities and shades of melanin. And no matter the occasion (family dinner, date, special occasion, or casual meal), you’ll feel like you’re in the right place.

The food is AMAZING! Dinning here was my first Lebanese cuisine experience and there isn’t another Lebanese restaurant I want to try because the menu here is delicious. The mixed grill platter with lamb, chicken, beef, potatoes, and veggies, is absolutely delicious and I order it every time. My lovely friend took me here for my birthday and Valentine’s Day, both experiences were more than worthwhile. The seasonal drinks are also very good and you definitely get the bang for your buck!

What makes the overall experience so outstanding, is the staff! They make eye contact with you, smile, and make sure your needs are met in a timely manner. The restrooms are always clean. Lastly, making a reservation here is easy but not necessary (I recommend making a reservation though because it does get busy). Enjoy!

The venue is spacious and gorgeous. We ordered hummus dip, lamb shawarma and lamb sausage. Everything was made to perfection, super juicy and delicious. Highly recommend coming if you want some affordable upper class dishes.

Incredible food and vibes. Felt like I was in new Cairo! It is definitely on the pricier end but the ambiance makes up for it. We got the mixed platter and hummus which were both amazing. Staff were also extremely friendly

I came across this place while browsing where to dine Middle Eastern food in midtown west! The ambiance was great, the servers were courteous, the place was busy but everything was flowing smoothly and the food came faster than we expected! The food was delicious and loved every moment of it!!

Meat and Bread

This place is great! The Cowgirl burger (BBQ, bacon, cheese, 4 onion rings) was a really good, hearty burger. The fries were probably the best. Every fry is battered, fried, and seasoned — a crunch in every bite. Get the house sauce on the side, it’s like fry sauce. Waffles were basic with lots of berries but they have waffle variations that we didn’t try but could be good. Service was friendly and fast! No complaints!

I came to Meat and Bread on a Saturday evening for dinner after hearing the meat they use is halal. The menu had a lot of great looking options to choose from and I decided to try the house ribeye steak sandwich. It was pretty good and filling but I was hoping for a bit more flavour or seasoning so I had to add some hot sauce. The service was very friendly and the restaurant was clean. The prices are on the high end but the food will leave you full for sure. I would definitely like to come back again and try some of the other delicious looking menu options.

Great place to get halal food in the city. They had many beef and chicken I options. Everyone at our table tried the ribeye steak burger that was very tasty with the meat cooked to our specifications. I also tried the masala chicken fries and although they were a bit hard, it was great tasting. In all, I would definitely recommend and will be going back to try more things from the menu.

Stopped here, hot and tired from touristy things. After we ate, we were happy and refreshed! GREAT lunch specials. The loaded fries were crazy good and the burgers and chicken sandwiches were just what we needed and wanted. To top it off, friendly atmosphere. Loved it and EASY 5 stars.

We ordered fried chicken and hot and sweet chicken burgers with cauliflower. It was a good experience. The cauliflower was a little hard. It could be better if soft. Overall a nice place.

Birria LES

Fresh, fast Mexican food served with a smile on a super casual LES atmosphere.
Loaded fries with shrimp and cheese were great, crunchy and fully “loaded”.
Tacos were somewhat lacking. Surf and Turf had barely any “turf” and the Birria one was overcooked to mush. Hence 3 solid stars.
Will return to try their other dishes and possibly adjust the rating.

Literally the best tacos I’ve ever had. So juicy and tender. I tried everything on the menu and every single item is so delicious. It’s worth the try and I definitely recommend ANYBODY coming here and trying these awesome tacos. Oh yeah and the bosses and workers are so friendly and great customer service.

If you want slamming tacos and you're in the lower east side, this is THE spot. I don't like tacos here in NY because they're always so flavourless. The guys at Birria know what they're doing and the flan is beyond exceptional. This spot hits on weekends, after you've had a few drinks and need something to bring you back to earth, come check this place out. Or if you just wanna have good food, made with quality and care, this is the go-to.

I was definitely excited to know there is halal Mexican food. Unfortunately it’s not great; it’s too expensive and tacos are so little with almost no meat. The taste is very average. It definitely needs work. It’s nothing like the authentic Mexican Burris tacos.

Everything was so good! Ordered the goat, beef, chicken tacos and the corn. We also tried the flan and it was amazing! Will definitely be coming back.

375° Chicken 'n Fries

Really delicious fried chicken sandwiches with many different options to choose from we had the Nashville hot and it was very good. Chicken was crunchy fresh and delicious you could tell they really put thought into building their sandwiches. We also had some fries which were topped with all types of stuff really really good. Bring your appetite.

This was delicious. I got a peanut, bacon and jelly sandwich combo with fries and their peanut satay mayo sauce, and a grape soda.
The chicken sandwich was messy, but tasted amazing. I was also surprised by how much I loved their plain fries, since I wasn’t able to upgrade to truffle fries as part of the combo. But I hardly had to use any sauce cause the fries just tasted good on their own. And the soda was good too.

Staff was also very friendly, and service was quick. Had my food within a few minutes of ordering.

Went back the next day to try the truffle fries. They are LIFE CHANGING.
Tried some popcorn chicken with some friends which was also tasty. We loved the Sweet Chili flavor the most.

Found this place while on a food delivery. It's all Fried Chicken cutlet variations of sandwiches which are pretty good. My favorite became the Swiss and Bacon Chicken Sandwich. They also have like popcorn chicken bites that come in a variety of sauces. Located a couple of blocks away from the Exit of the Williamsburg Bridge...it is a good stop after taking a walk or bike ride over the bridge. They have 2 small tables set up on the side walk outside because Inside is a bit too small to fit a table. The 2 or 3 times I was there, the 2 tables outside was both occupied. So just keep in mind if you wanna sit and eat, might have to wait for a table to come up like I did.

We came here for small bites. We were in the area and heard that it was a must try. Their Buffalo chicken is good (not sour or vinegary at all). Their fried chicken sandwich looked very good. The fries are good but not a crazy item. The chicken pops on the other hand are worth the journey. Mostly for take home since they only have to tables outside.

Next door they have Vita coffee their cappuccino is great!

The area was what I was expecting on the older New York. Busy and compact with tall old buildings.

Can't really say anything bad about it. I got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich since I've never tried it before and I really love spicy foods. A friend of mine already told me how good it was and I have to agree, it was pretty good and would definitely get another one. I've also heard pretty good things about the truffle fries so the next time I go back I'll probably try that out too.

Our chicken is Halal. There is one item with bacon on the menu but it’s stored and cooked in a completely separate area to ensure no cross-contamination.

375 Chicken 'n Fries

I wanted to stop by here because I heard it was highly reviewed. We ordered the Buffalo-Honey Chick n’ Pop, the Classic Chicken Sandwich, and the Triple Truffle Sandwich. The space was very clean and there were a few seats to enjoy your meal. I do wish that the Chick n’Pop had more sauce on the chicken as from photos I expected a lot more, however, it was still delicious and full of flavour. I wanted to try something different which is why I went with the Triple Truffle Sandwich, which was so tasty! I would recommend this sandwich if you’re looking to try something a little different. I wish that the portion for the Chick n’Pop was more and the buns were slightly bigger on the sandwich’s. However, our meals were still fantastic and we did enjoy all the different flavours! The staff was also very kind and offered suggestions.

375° Chicken is a great munch spot! They recently changed their chicken supplier to a halal supplier. Their bacon is fried away from the chicken so there's no cross contamination! Their Nashville Hot Sandwich was certainly flavorful but not spicy at all, well for me! Everything else was on point and delicious!  Their chicken pops had several flavors to choose from, I had sweet chili and their chick n waffle hit different. It wasn’t a plain old waffle but a cheddar and scallion and it sure was delicious! All of their dishes were very crispy and were really big in portion. The truffle-Parmesan Fries were very creamy and to my liking. That went well with the vanilla shake they offer, more flavors to come!

This quaint shop is the perfect place to go for your fried chicken craving - it's just so good. Their chicken sandwiches are so flavorful and actually spicy. Their chicken bites are also delicious and when paired with a milkshake, is probably the perfect meal.

Ordered plain popcorn chicken with a side of their honey buffalo sauce. The chicken is always good quality and crispy from here!! They have a lot of options to choose from on their menu, definitely a spot to try!

I ordered the buffalo honey chick n pop with fries. It tastes exactly like its description: buffalo sauce and honey. I know that you might be confused because, duh, it's in the name. Personally though, I just felt like the honey flavor was a little overpowering with buffalo sauce. It was well-priced though, and I would return.

SMASHED

Everything that was delicious and wonderful about this place is gone. Those amazing thin cut fires, gone. They're now just the most average and basic french fries. The kind available at any cheap deli in NYC. You don't need to go here. It's was delicious...and for wherever reason, now it's not.

Best Burger ever!!! I loved everything, people where really nice. I accidentally asked for a vegan one but I didn't even notice the difference, after that I try a non vegan one and I consider this hamburgers one of the best!!

It might feel like an Instagram trap of a spot, but the burgers really are that good. Best smash burger spot I've had in the city. Only reason it's not a 5 is the prices are a bit higher than similar spots in neighboring areas. Worth it, but keeps it from being an every week spot.

burgers here are small and overpriced but they taste good. i wouldn’t say it’s mind blowing, but it’s a pretty good burger. the smashed potatoes are dank, i recommend getting those over the fries. overall, I probably won’t be back here because it’s so overpriced for what it is, but it was cool to try it once

This spot was is awesome. Perfect late night dinner. No indoor seating at the moment but the outdoor seating was warm enough in December. No frills with the experience but the food does all the talking. Amazing burger loved my fries. Crispy edges. Amazing!

Smashed

Oh K-Dog NYC

I love this place so so much. I think the dogs are reasonably priced especially with the options of sauce and how big the dog can be. The sauce options are absolutely astonishing is the greatest way possible. I love going crazy and combining all of them.

I recommend the regular mozzarella dog or the squid ink half & half dog.

Although the average wait time is between 10-15 minutes when there isn’t a line, if there is one, it’s about 20 minutes tops. Be kind and patient with the staff.

I was really excited to try this place out! I’ve never had a Korean corn dog before. My favorite was the one with the sugar on it and cheese in the center. It tasted best eaten immediately while hot. There is an empty lot next to the building with some cute vintage finds.

I ordered the sweet potato dog with cinnamon, and topped it off with honey mustard and cheese mustard. Perfect pick-me-up on a gloomy day.

You can't go wrong here, period. Also a great date spot.

Love the mozza dogs - they’re good about allergies too. Wish I could give them 5 stars but I wish they had a chicken option , like any other meat other than beef

It was fast and the garlic bread portion was good. The corn dog was hot trash, the batter was bitter and kinda nasty. The bacon egg cheese sandwich wasn’t too bad. But after the first bite, there is no sign of meat. Would not eat here again :)

Decoy

As someone who grew up eating authentic Peking duck in Beijing, I have finally found a restaurant with comparable quality!

The duck skin is crispy and the meat is tender and cut with evenly between fatty pieces and lean pieces. The sauce is perfect and the cucumbers and spring onions are fresh which you rarely see in NYC 'Peking duck' places. My only complaint is that the wrappers were more akin to pancakes instead of the light airy crepes that I'm used to. Regardless, amazing duck and staff was very friendly and attentive!

Pretty good! The duck was really tasty, although the pancakes were different from what they usually give you and the sauce was not flavorful enough. It is also pretty pricy. Still, delicious duck.

I have been coming to Decoy for years and it’s the only Peking Duck place I would go as an authentic Chinese. I have brought multiple of my family members from China to decoy whenever they come to NYC to visit me, they all love the nice tweak from a true Peking Duck from Beijing. The duck is always very well-roasted with juicy fat and crispy skin. I always wish there’s more no matter how many ducks we get. You do have to reserve it though when you make your reservation, I have gone to the place multiple times per-pandemic and they were sold out of ducks at 6:30 already without a reservation. The sauces are very tasty as well. Many of their other appetizers are amazing, the strawberry fro gras is crazy good, oxtail dumplings and some others are very tasty. The fried rice is also surprisingly good. I normally would not order fried rice (because it’s just very difficult to find any actual good fried rice) but they actually have very aromatic fried rice which is so rare. Anyways, no matter if you are looking for something adventurous and authentic or if you are just going for a nice American Chinese this is one of the best you can find in NYC.

We booked a reservation for Decoy over a week in advance. Once we arrived, we were informed by the hostess that Decoy was booked for a private party. We forced into walk-in sitting, a large-crowded communal seating table. Frustrating experience, we left before ordering.

Best Peking Duck in the City! Decoy is a extension of Red Farm in West Village and we’ve made it a tradition to go for Peking Duck every Christmas Eve and it never disappoints.

Unfortunately, as a result of the pandemic, ambiance and service have taken a hit. For an Americanized fusion restaurant like this, it’s off-putting to see takeout orders stacked on the communal table in the center of the restaurant, making it look more like a restaurant in Chinatown. Everyone was very nice, but service is a little all over the place. Besides the duck, the other dishes are just okay and not a good value for the price. Not certain if the UWS location offers the duck, but the ambiance at that location (pre-Covid, at least) is much better.

We use Marinated & Grilled Creekstone Rib Steak and Grilled Prime Creekstone Bone-In N.Y. Strip Steak which are Halal.

Marc Forgione

When the Chef and Owner serves your first course you know you made the right dining decision.  The food and the service here is as good as it gets.  Chef Forgione is as creative as he was as an Iron Chef, but more importantly the flavors are off the charts.  The Sommelier has his challenges pairing wine with these bold flavors, but he meets and exceeds them.  The General Manager is as gracious as you will find and my server more than knew his way around the menu.  The vibe here is really what pulls it all together.  Everyone here seems to be happy and wants to be here.  That is the true reflection of a Great Chef.  I am sure his Mr. Larry Forgione is more than proud of that accomplishment.  P.S. Marc Forgione deserves a Michelin Star if not two

Everything was fantastic, the service and food was top-notch and met our expectations given the reputation. We enjoyed watching Marc win Iron Chef years ago and inspired us to choose this restaurant, although we were in for only 2 days. The flavors in each dish were well blended and paired nicely together. The lobster was cooked absolutely perfect. Very nice experience all around.

Great place for a nice fancy dinner, the banana Jameson's were fantastic and the place was really impressive. Oh and the cookies were amazing.

You expect a lot of an Iron Chef and this may be in top 5 restaurants in the city. All I have to say is get the tasting menu and you will not be disappointed in quantity, quality or experience. I almost don't want to spoil the surprise of what you will get but takes in sausage, oyster, veal, lobster, cake, ice cream among a whole host of other amazing things presented in elaborate ways.

There were some very good elements and some not so good elements.   They start by bringing you two beautiful looking rolls. As soon as I picked it up it felt cold, broke it open and ice cold inside.  They apologized and got two more but it was rather disappointing that they don’t even make sure they reheat the rolls properly.    Shishito peppers were cooked perfectly but could have used a little salt.   The wings were an elevated version and very good.  The halibut was the best bite. Cooked perfectly.  The steak was surprisingly bland.   Overall atmosphere was very nice, rustic and cozy but food was not consistent.

We use the Creekstone Farms 28-Day Dry-Aged Tomahawk Steak which is Halal.

Market Table

A mid-scale restaurant with solid food, drinks and wine list. Quiet-ish with nice indoor and outdoor seating options. Decor is subdued but nicely done.  A good place for an intimate dinner with friends. The calamari salad is really delicious and substantial. Service was excellent, prompt, efficient, and unobtrusive, just how it should be!

Service and food were fantastic here. It's mostly seafood based dishes. My handsome companion got the salmon with something risotto and I got the baked cod fish with lump crab meat. The fish was well prepared and not over cooked. The restaurant also has a romantic ambience to it in case you're looking for a date place. Many of the items on their menu seem gluten-free as well. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

Good is excellent. Everything we tried was delicious. Must try! And very friendly and professional service

Excellent food. Service was slow when we visited (they were packed and likely short staffed... Be patient, food is so worth the wait).
Please, for the love of all you hold dear, fix or run your A/C! It was cool outside but it was miserably warm inside. That many human bodies and a kitchen really can't be cooled by a single open door.

Unique touch to everything on the menu. AND delicious cocktails. I love when a restaurant gets the music right. The vibe was perfect and the service was above and beyond.

A long overdue thank you to the entire staff at Cut for a wonderful dinner experience. During our 6 days stay at NYC  & Washington DC in September 2021, we dined at several restaurants, and they all had either good food, good service, a little bit of both, or none at all (blaming the pandemic).
Our dinner at cut was strikingly fantastic that prompted another visit for lunch.
The food, beverage and service were incredible.

We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious. Our server Patrick and the hostess were amazing.  They went over and above for my son's birthday. We can't wait to return.

Friendly and hospitable hostess, very friendly bartender (ordered sparkling water until the main restaurant opened for dinner), and an attentive server (Patrick) who has a quiet energy about him - not invasive - just the way I like it. I got lucky!

The decor is darker than what I usually like, but the vibrant music was enjoyable and the food was elegantly presented.

My favorite is the mashed potato! So smooth and delicious! The grilled shrimps and the cheese macaroni were delicious too! Not to forget the house-made pretzel rolls with the mustard seeds butter that tasted as good as they sounded!

For a chocolate lover, the dark chocolate snickers bar was the perfect ending to a sweet experience.

The holiday porterhouse was tough not even a tenth the level of quality as the $42 lunch take outs, kind staff despite being slightly epidermally logically challenged staff and softly abusing those of greater status and tipping potential due to superficial notions.  Cuisine is not stimulating in flavor or even flavor does not have to be sacrificed for intellectuality, too salty, or too bland, steak had the texture of having been microwaved, the insultingly meticulous sadistically posited looking process on the apple tart, nice lighting ambiance.  I am sorry to note that I will not be returning to eat here.

This is an ultimate dining experience. The cuisine,the service,and the ambience are everything you would desire in fine dining. The entire staff are superb. Out server Patrick was amazing,but every single staff member is the epitome of professionalism,kindness,and warmth. I will return often.

Pollos LES

Stopped by this spot , as it’s newly opened Halal Peruvian Restaurant. It’s definitely worth a try. Nice and small , food came out quick. All I wish was that , they offered more of the Peruvian Green Sauce. Chicken and rice were cooked perfectly . I’ll definitely will be going back.

Nice place to enjoy well priced Halal Rotisserie chicken.
Their sauces are nice. I like the garlic sauce.
The only downside is that the chicken tend to be little small i was expecting a bigger meal.

Delicious Peruvian food. Small, limited menu but the quality of the food makes it a must try. Especially the green sauce! Best part is that it’s HALAL. Very generous portions.

Came across this new Halal Peruvian a while back and was excited because perhaps now I can enjoy one of my fav cuisines with those with dietary restrictions. The food here did not impress, the traditional chicken didn’t have the same tasty flavor your local mom and restaurant would have. Tostones, rice and beans all lacked flavor (no lie have had better froze tostones from the supermarket- Goya one!) The killer was that they charge extra! for the sauces and you know the Peruvian sauce is everything, so you have to pay and it was terrible! Prob try a few other things on the menu before completely knocking it.

SERRA by Birreria

Serra by Birreria is BEAUTIFUL. There’s a great ambiance and the staff is super nice.

Service here was outstanding. They were very quick to seat us down, very quick to bring menus and take our orders. It was an above and beyond service for sure… our waiter was very friendly, gave us suggestions when needed, responded briefly and quickly every question we had.

On the other hand, food can definitely be better and that’s the reason why I only gave 3/5 stars. They just changed their menu for Autumn plates and let me tell you… Every plate we ordered was bland, good looking for the eyes but just lacking of flavor.

I wouldn’t come back for food… maybe drinks, we didn’t have anything other than seltzer water, but almost every table was having drinks and they looked pretty good.

If I were you, I wouldn’t come on an empty stomach like we did cause you will not be satisfied, they definitely need to add more love to their cooking.

Service and atmosphere was fantastic, just a bit pricey for the quality of food. Not that what we were served was bad by any means! I enjoyed their skewers. It's just that the portions were smaller than expected (quite small if I'm being honest) and the ravioli was quite plain looking.

But! You pay for the atmosphere and location in these types of places, and I would still 100% recommend this place for at least one visit.

One of my personal favorite places for a date out in NYC! It's a roof deck with great ambiance, bartenders, and an eclectic menu. The floral colors and openness just makes you want to smile. Didn't get much in terms of food but it all looked delicious.

Only the Creekstone Farms flatiron steak is Halal. You can ask for it to be cooked on a clean grill.
