I went to ASSA with my family for a birthday dinner and we really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was bustling and every table was taken which meant there was a significant wait to get a table (about 30-40 minutes), but the staff were clearly working hard; no one was idle and they were whizzing around serving diners.

I'd say cleanliness was moderate because the water jugs were covered in visible water spots but the cutlery and table was clean. The table setup was basic but efficient and created a homely feel.

Staff were polite and attentive when they reached us, though it could be difficult to get their attention for extra toppings or broth top-ups. Though that said, they did refill the broth twice for us so there were no major disruptions to our experience.

There was a good range of base options and toppings to choose from. We ordered the chicken and mushroom hotpot with ramyeon noodles, king prawns, fish cake and tofu. The presentation was clean, the portion sizes were good, and the food exceeded my expectations. My family enjoyed their food as well.

We paid £58.50 for three people and all left satisfied. It’s a great choice for a relaxed, chatty dinner, and I would return.

I have regularly come for lunch for the last three years and love love love Assa! They offer tasty and affordable lunch options but don’t be afraid to explore the rest of their menu - I always like to try a variety of their food! The music is always great and the staff are lovely! It’s difficult to find places in Soho that offer a proper sit down meal for lunch that’s nourishing but doesn’t cost you loads and that’s why Assa is my go-to (especially in the winter time when you want a hot bowl of food and a warm place to spend your lunch break)!

Where do I start from!!!! The food was totally amazing! The reviews on here aren't hyped, they are true! From entering, all the way to our seats, meal and departure, the customer service was over the top! And there was nothing we disliked, the food was really really really good. The only think is that it's a bit on the high end (it's in Knightsbridge so should be expected). My partner and I had the pancake with beef starter, seafood platter, beef and noodles, with one drink (I had tap water, oh and they infuse it with fresh fruits!!!) and the bill came up to £165. Unlike traditional hot pots, someone prepares all the meat and serves you when it's ready, from beginning to end.

We totally loved it and we would want to try the M9 beef that everyone keeps raving about. We had a little bit of the low end beef and it tasted melt-in-your-mouth amazing so cannot imagine!

Upscale and exciting hot pot experience. Lovely space combined with excellent food. We we were reminded that all the ingredients are organic with no additives like MSG or chicken powder. The quality of the produce really shines through.

Individual hot pots makes this a more individual experience as well, allowing you to choose different broth depending on taste.

Tried a lot of familiar flavours, combined with a lot of new ones. It was an accessible first hot pot for the both of us. Great cocktails too.

Just had hot pot in this very chic place with my friend last night, what a surprise! All the ingredients were really fresh - beef, seafood, juices (pomegranate juice is my favourite! Forgot to take a photo as I finished it too quickly!) I love everything there! Excellent services as well. Highly recommended!

This is the place that I highly recommend if you want to try the authentic Chinese cuisine. The meat and seafood were superb, you can really taste how fresh the ingredients are. The whole experience was extraordinary, great service with relaxed atmosphere. The cocktails were so good as well! Will definitely return soon.

I just came here with my daughter completely by accident we were in the area and googled best Chinese restaurant and thought we would check it out.
I only have three words to describe what we just ate , Wow Wow Wow , having never had this type of cuisine it was Amaxibg , we had 2 rounds of amazing Sashimi to start with washed down with cool crisp champagne followed by 2 hot pots 1 beef 1 chicken with the medium grade beef , I have never had meat that just melts on contact like this we also had the garden vegetables and rainbow noodles.
Service was superb from the initial enthusiast greeting by front of house to the waiters.
Can’t wait to come back Price was also very reasonable compared to say Hutong.

Been there by myself yesterday for bbq buffet. I’m so happy that they are real bbq not these fake pan-frying ones. You can see the charcoal under the grill.

Meats are fresh and well seasoned, especially the LA beef, my fave, they so tasty. Also service was very nice, the waitress said “eat as much as you want” .  So I happily ate least 8 different meats in 1.5 hours. And only cost £28+ service fee. Will definitely come back and will recommend friends.

We ordered both BBQ and hot pot table. The soup was too oily and almost tasteless, except the hot spice. I liked a great selection of sauces, herbs, oils and other food additives that were optional and free of charge. Of course the price is not for every day visit, but its worth to come at least once a month. I would suggest BBQ only as I didn’t like their soup base. Highly recommend frogs legs and sweet corn with cheese👍

Amazing place, I honestly can’t say anything bad. We had all you can eat hot pot and BBQ. The food was amazing, the meat was so tender, and the service was even better. The owner is very nice and treats all his customers with respect. If you’re looking for KBBQ or hotpot this really is the place!

Went at a lunch time and the waiter give us only the lunch 3 course menu and they dint utter a word. There were other people too, but all of them were waiting for their food, so I assumed they only do this 3 course menu for lunch and I ordered. The food took 35 mins to come and in between other customers got their hotpot. Now this surprised me ! My question is why did the waiter only give me the 3 course menu and why he dint give me full menu or informed me that full menu is also available. I felt betrayed and on top of it , they charged me 12.5 % service charge, which as I got the poorest service ever. Me and my son went and he choose the restaurant for hotpot only. So, this was very upsetting.

Amazing food, lovely service. Was in incredible and everything was fresh and the customer service 1010. I definitely recommend the atmosphere was amazing as well.
