The Delaunay

I had a wonderful time at The Delaunay CAFE, ate an delicous Schnitzel, drank a very good beer and enjoyed a good real hot chocolate! The staff was all extremely friendly and I felt transported back on time, in the 20's!!!! Absolutely loved it and will be back!

Note: I'm not talking about the main restaurant (where I've felt treated arrogantly) I mean in the other side from the other entrance from the side... Absolutely wonderful experience! Thank you to all the staff! 😊

A true classic and a wonderfully charming spot - perfect for a relaxed lunch or a special-occasion dinner. The space is full of character and feels timeless without being stuffy. Excellent value for money, especially for the quality and atmosphere. The Swiss soufflé was a standout and worth the visit alone. Attentive, warm service throughout. Will definitely be back.

After speaking with a rather unfriendly lady at reception, we decided to leave: the place looked crowded, stressed out, and almost if I had to beg for a table.
When leaving we found they had a separate cafe on the side, with a reduced menu focused on cafes and sandwiches and a more intimate and cosy environment - staff were also incredibly friendly.
We ended up having a wonderful pork Schnitzel and a divine Sache torte with hot chocolate. Was surprised by their continental beer too.
I'd definitely come back! but to the cafe, not the main restaurant.

The food was very good buy not excellent our outstanding, for sure plates comes not in what you expect them to be from such a restaurant, looking at the steak plate it came without any garnish at all, it was just a steak piece in an empty plate. service was average and noise level is high. You may spend the same amount of money in a much better restaurant

I loved dining here, the food was great and tasty. The service was good. Good spot to go out and watch a show! The chicken was tasty, i would give it a 4/5 because it was slightly dry. That could be resolved with the sauce.

The only halal item on our menu is the chicken schnitzel but we are currently working on providing more halal dishes in the near future.
