Truffle Burger Seven Dials

Went here for the first time to the market (which is brilliant wee spot btw) and don't judge me but you'd think going to a burger place you'd try a meaty burger for sure, but I'm doing 6 days vegetarian and 1 day meat and/or fish so I have to choose my days wisely and this was very much impromptu. But having chosen the only vegetarian option on the menu (its a pop up so limited offerings) the Veggie Truffle Burger (Beyond Meat) and a side of Truffle + Parmesan Chips, I was not disappointed. Considering my mate went for the truffle burger I had a direct comparison staring me in the eyes while I was devouring my option. And 100% was not envious at all. The Veggie burger without doubt was the best I had in restaurant or from supermarkets and I put this down to the chefs and the ingredients obviously. Cooked to perfection, great flavour, texture which sometimes lacks when you get the plant options (some tasting like your biting into an eraser with same flavour I imagine) and filled me like a regular burger. Honestly will be choosing this option from Truffle Burger and comparing theirs to anywhere else I try (which is a high bar now) as it was great. I love my meat and so to say I didn't miss out is saying something. Honestly, if you want to try a meat free option and still feel like you're having a regular burger then this is the one. Kudos to the chefs at the Seven Dials. I'll def be back. PS Didn't give 5 stars purely because I wish it wasn't just a pop up and could have been in a regular restaurant as I'm sure they're menu would be on point.
