Dave's Hot Chicken Soho

Worth the hype. I thought I'd try this place after a lot of family and friends were raving about it. I went Monday late afternoon to the Shaftesbury Avenue branch so it wasn't crazy busy. I ordered the sliders (Medium spicy) of which you get two, and the cheesy fries. The young girl who served me "Lil David" on her name badge was very friendly and outgoing. She's an asset to the company and should be recognised for her great, bubbly personality. Food was very nice and the medium spice was perfect for me. Cheese fries also very good. Definitely will go back.

Tried Dave’s Hot Chicken and it did not disappoint! The chicken is perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside, with a spicy kick that hits just right. The flavors are bold without being overwhelming. Great portion sizes, and the sides complement the chicken really well. Definitely a go-to spot if you’re craving flavorful, hearty fried chicken!

Stopped by twice during our London trip, as I'm a big fan of spicy food. On my first visit, I ordered a "Hot" Single Slider and wow it was delicious and to my surprise really really spicy. It brought tears to my eyes and my nose was running; but in the best way possible. It was awesome. On my second visit, I ordered another "Hot" Single Slider and to my disappointment, it wasn't spicy at all. Just well seasoned (but still a very good slider). Not sure if the first or second one had the wrong seasoning to really be able to judge the "Heat" levels. That's my only complaint right now. The staff was super polite and funny, the tables were cleaned frequently times and there was plenty of seating. Definitely worth a visit if you like chicken and spicy food, but it's just hard to reccommend a "Heat" level after my mixed experience.
