Is KFC Farringdon Halal?
Yes, KFC does serve Halal food. The owner of the restaurant said "HFA has certified KFC's products in these stores, and the store environments, as halal. KFC has also ensured that the halal certified chicken would also meet the rigorous animal welfare standards employed in the UK, and has consulted leading animal welfare groups about this. KFC insists that all poultry is stunned before slaughter. HFA allows the use of a technique called 'stun-to-stun' - a pain free process that makes the animal insensible to pain and suffering. A verse is also recited from the Quran at the point of slaughter by an appropriate person and the poultry will not come into contact with non-halal meat at any point in the supply chain. Visited the Farringdon KFC branch on Aug Mon 18th lunch to get some gravy for my greggs sausage roll as featured on ubereats. The gravy here is runnier compared to my usual KFC and not as strong. Anyway after collecting my gravy on the way out I discovered there was a downstairs so when down to have a look as I have not been to this branch before. On the way back up while I was on the stairs I was greeted by a lady member of KFC who said I could not eat my pizza here which hopefully can be checked on cctv. The box was not even open nor was my hand physically holding a slice of pizza or was I was physically eating. I felt like I was accused for something I didn't do. You simply can't accuse someone for an action that has not happened or taken place yet. Definitely not what I was expecting for a KFC branch in the city of London especially in a civilised office area. A big Thanks to that definitely avoiding this shop out of all the other eateries in Farringdon.

The chicken was crispy and tasty. Loved the burger and fries too. Good service by staff and clean place. Will visit again

Its a small KFC so don’t be have to high expectations. The food was decent but the typicaly miserable staff you get in these smaller London outlets were the same as anywhere else. Devoid of hospitality or personality, grunting out the orders .

I’ll be honest the food taste really good, however today I purchased a 3 piece meal they give me 2 normal pieces and a wing (that they confidently stated it is a piece, which it is not) I didn’t ask for wings I asked for a normal piece ie leg, thigh, and breast piece. The wing was so small it was actually an insult to brand it as a piece of chicken. Usually I have no problems coming here but after expressing this at the till they never offered to change it, basically you get what you are given. So will not be going back.
