Yemeni restaurant.
Food was flavourful, tried Mandi, Haneth and Kabsa with baby chicken, well cooked, and generous portions, balanced tastes.
Service was quick and done well. Menu was broad and covered most Yemni dishes, missing out on Zurbian. The soup was nice yet in a group of 5 some had much more actual spices than others, we felt inconsistenty in that. Generally proper authentic Yemeni vibes, the seats are a combination of chairs and Yemeni seats mixing bother traditios and modernity. The bill was as expected no added hidden costs, very transparent. Toilets clean and well maintained. Staff very polite, and makes you feel welcom. For a calm cozy Yemni vibes and authentic flavours recommended.

Some reflections for the management. As a Yemni restaurant some dishes are new to the Western customers even some Arabs, would be great if the menu is somehow digital, would suggest keeping the paper menu additionally adding a QR code which includes images of the meals. Customers who are new to the culture have it difficult to see what they will get even with thorough explanation by the staff. I don't see this in Yemeni restaurant so you can stand out.
Additionally with Google reviews becoming more important now I would suggest keeping the review QR code on the table with a single request for a review, so it becomes more genuine by the customers.
Would be great to have the something in addition to the soup for starters, something small like a bread and a dip, expected from Arabic restaurants.

Amazing experience at Queen of Sheba Yemeni Restaurant. The owner personally served us and even gave us complimentary soup, which was a really nice touch and showed genuine hospitality.

The service was outstanding from start to finish. The madfoon and lamb dish were absolutely delicious—full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The mint tea was also excellent and finished the meal off perfectly.

Highly recommend this place for authentic Yemeni food and top-class service.

Treated like family! What an unforgettable experience! I visited Queen of Sheba with my mom and sister, and the hospitality was just incredible. From the moment we walked in out of the cold, we were welcomed warmly and immediately offered a lovely, complimentary lamb soup to warm us up.The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were so generous. We left completely stuffed and happy! At the end of the meal, they even served us a fantastic tea on the house. The service was also impeccable; our waiter was an incredible human being who made us feel like family. He even refused to accept a tip, which speaks volumes about the genuine kindness of this place. We will always look back on this dinner fondly. I am honestly looking forward to coming back to London just to visit them again! ❤️

Food: The starters were excellent as the dishes were full of flavour and had a nice range of depth to them and we were able to get a number of different flavour profiles in all of them. However, when it came to the main that was more of a mixed bag. Due to it all being combined and cooked together, the range of cooking time unfortunately affected the dishes and the meat themselves but the flavour felt a bit one note as well sadly.

Service: Ali was our host on the day we went and he was nice and enthusiastic being able to show good hosting energy throughout the meal. Sadly, the rest of the team messed up some of the orders that we had for drinks or food  for one reason or another.

Atmosphere: It was a decent atmosphere in the restaurant, a bit quiet but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves on the day!

There were great parts to this meal, but there were also unfortunately disappointing parts, if they are able to iron our some inconsistencies they'll do well!

You absolutely have to put this on the top of your list for Yemeni food. The service was brilliant and so lovely, they offered complimentary soup to start and tea to finish, which were so delicious. The interior is all made to look like a traditional Yemeni space and best of all, the food was absolutely perfect. The falafel, vine leaves, and main rice dishes were delicious and hit the spot. Portion sizes were huge and really good value for money. Super welcoming space and absolutely authentic. We will be back for sure

Went here for lunch on a weekday and it was quiet. I had the mixed joojeh and it was very tasty. The rice with butter and saffron was very good too, and so were the complimentary fresh bread and dip. Service was good. In my opinion this place has a great value for money. I would definitely come back.

I liked the rustic interior and the place has a charm to it. Service was very friendly. The food was kind of mediocre. Big portion but the kebab tasted I dunno, a bit undercooked and not the tastiest. I regret not having the bread instead of rice but the salad was fresh enough. Cost £15 which was fine.

A little nice and quiet restaurant off Edgeware Road. Enjoyed the juicy kebabs, service was great.

Authentic Persian/Iranian food. Great taste. Freshly made food. Tried their lamb kebabs. Restaurant is very small. Extra seating upstairs. Been going to this restaurant for many years. The interior needs some attention to improve the ambiance of the place.

My girlfriend and I had the roasted duck noodles, siomay and bandung chia. The food was amazing, full of flavor and the duck was perfectly cooked! The waiter was also really friendly. Will definitely come here again

Halal Malaysian restaurant. Not sure about other dish but the duck here is very good. Order their duck rice. Duck is super juicy. You won’t regret it.  Ask for chili oil. Pro tip, request for breast rather than leg for more meaty juicier experience.
Plus point, toilet is clean with bidet. Prayer room as well.

I searched for a Halal Chinese restaurant, this was one of the restaurants suggested by google.
It’s not Chinese 🇨🇳 cuisine but Malaysian 🇲🇾 cuisine, very bland for my taste.
The place is very clean and welcoming.
The employees were very nice, they offered the drink on the house since I wasn’t a fan of the food.
I came in for a « hot & sour wonton soup », they don’t do it, so i thought why not mix 2 soups they do, hot and sour soup and chicken wonton soup.
The hot and sour is a mixture of a thick red soup, chicken slices, vegetables and 2 prawns. Soup was delicious just not sour nor hot.
The chicken wonton soup which was « wontons in boiled water and green onion (scallions) » not exaggerating, literally.
Service and atmosphere amazing.

This homey Malaysian restaurant is three minutes away from our hotel. After a long day of travel, the soup hits the spot.

The bonna brand porcelain hand-painted tableware from Turkey is quite attractive.

We came here after seeing the great reviews and were not disappointed. The waitress was so kind and welcoming and very helpful in making suggestions. We wanted dumplings and were very happy with the ones we got. They were very reasonably priced. They were delicious. I will definitely come back.

Don’t be fooled by the first impression, this place is a hidden gem tucked away near the busy Edgware Road. The food was excellent. We tried the Nasi Goreng Nyonya and the Ayam (chicken) dish, both of which were outstanding. The soup was rich and comforting, and the skewers were perfectly cooked, especially with the delicious peanut sauce.
Everything here is halal, they do not serve alcohol, and a major plus is that they have a dedicated prayer area with wudu facilities. A fantastic spot for both great food and a comfortable, dining experience.

My mom saw this restaurant while taking the public bus & wanted to try it & it did not disappoint! I ordered the Char Kuey Teow “Fav”, & the flavour was rich & authentic. They also have an all-you-can-eat buffet, which looks really worth trying next time. The owner Pak Awie, is such a friendly & welcoming old man. Greeted us, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Recommend this place if you’re craving real Malaysian & Indonesian flavours! 🇲🇾🍽️

We were amongst the first few for dinner at about 6 30pm, after that the crowd started coming in. The 🎶 reminds of back home. Service was fast. Great Malaysian Food. Saw someone ordered Nasi Kandar which looked so yummy.

Food: I recommend the Nasi Goreng Kampung (more authentic than their USA Nasi Goreng) - I licked the plate clean. It comes with crunchy salty anchovies (you can see on bottom left of photo) and an egg on top. If you fancy noodles I recommend their Kuey Teow Goreng. Lychee juice was some of the best I had! These were the stars of the show. Desserts were alright but nothing special (banana desserts: Pisang Goreng & Pengat Pisang).

Atmosphere: restaurant is downstairs so no natural light, not particularly modern but feels authentic and atmosphere is created by the happy chatty air of other customers. Not too busy, not too empty.

Service: was fast when more empty but as soon as there were 3/4 more tables it was noticeably slower. Friendly servers with recommendations and knowledgeable of allergens.

Price: well priced. not a bargain but not expensive. £14.20 for our mains, with mains going up to £16.

Veggie/vegan friendly (coconut milk more prevalent in cuisine rather than milk). Halal. Servers helpful with allergens.

We had one of the best Malaysian halal meals in London! Pak Awie himself came over to chat with us, and he was incredibly friendly. He even invited us to drop by on a weekday to try their buffet. Highly recommended!

KFC Paddington - Praed Street

This one is a very busy spot, with a lot of foot traffic. Easy to order via their kiosks and just wait.

It was already closing when I ordered so the sit in wasn’t an option but the food was good as expected even as a to go order.

I’d come back here again to try their other menu items.

We made the mistake of ordering the corn and the coleslaw. The corn was so old and brown. The coleslaw was a salad. I ordered a pop that tasted funny and was so flate. I should've looked at the ratings first before ordering.  Chips were very few and cold. There is usually more coating on the chicken didn't get a picture.

The wings were disgusting (sorry). Chicken hair, most of it was fatty skin and it was bland. Most KFC wings roughly taste similar to me, you know because they are presumably using the same recipe. But these wings did not taste nor look like KFC wings. Staff were kind but the wings were horrific and the tables weren’t clean, other meals were just left there. The worst KFC I’ve ever had.

Last used a UK kfc three years ago, For what it is, it was fine… only a few mins to wait for our meal for three people, restaurant fairly clean, although tables could be wiped better and staff polite enough when handing over the order.
Male toilets not fantastic, toilet seat blocks flush buttons and was a bit messy.
Food was acceptable, kfc gravy seems very thin these days, Jolibee is much better for that.

HFA has certified KFC's products in these stores, and the store environments, as halal. KFC has also ensured that the halal certified chicken would also meet the rigorous animal welfare standards employed in the UK, and has consulted leading animal welfare groups about this. KFC insists that all poultry is stunned before slaughter. HFA allows the use of a technique called 'stun-to-stun' - a pain free process that makes the animal insensible to pain and suffering. A verse is also recited from the Quran at the point of slaughter by an appropriate person and the poultry will not come into contact with non-halal meat at any point in the supply chain. KFC only buys high quality, Grade A, farm-assured chicken from trustworthy suppliers, and this will not change.

Food was amazing,  Mr. Azra and Mr. Ali were so accommodating in providing fabulous service. They not only recommended what to order but also provided several free bees on the house. Great experience.  Highly recommended

Great food really- I came after ten years and it is still one of the best on edgeware road
service so quick and efficient and caring and delicious food. Sohail was one of the servers and he was gracious and so kind. We went to one of the chain ones the day before and the difference is striking . Thanks again

The server was great with my youngest child. The juices were fresh and cold, and all the food was fantastic. The only minor downside was the server did forget our water but he was very busy. Overall a great lunch out with the kids

Loved, loved this place! We sat outside and had the meze for two was absolutely delicious. The lamb sambousek was a standout, the best I’ve had so far. We also enjoyed the double apple shisha. The staff were very sweet, and the whole vibe of enjoying Lebanese cuisine on Edgware Road made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

The food was very very delicious. I loved it. However, one of the staff was not welcoming really.

Prices are good comparing to others.

The place is a bit small so typically you would wait. I came once before and it was crowded but this time I could find a table.

I found this restaurant by chance when staying nearby and so glad I did. Incredible food, welcoming staff and I enjoyed watching the fresh bread being made to order while waiting for my meal. Try the Chelo Khoresh Fesenjan, it’s amazing!! Can’t wait to return and try some other dishes

I like how there is no reservation. You just wait in the queue and first in first to served. The food is delicious as expected price is kind of acceptable. The service is superb nothing to complain about the billing is handwriting so it could be misleading at first, but if you review the menu first and compare the prices, you’ll find it about accurate. lovely place overall I suggest it.

One of the best Parisian restaurants in London. The food is fresh and delicious. They backed fresh hot Iranian bread. I recommend the kofta with rice.

We had lunch at Colbeh Restaurant – a group of six friends – and overall, the food was very tasty!

Good Points:
•	We ordered one Ghozi and four Iranian kebabs with pomegranate rice – the taste was excellent and portions were generous 🥩🍚
•	Service was friendly, and the staff were doing their best despite the crowd 😊
•	The restaurant is small but cozy, and very popular – expect it to be a bit crowded 🪑👥

Note:
The final bill was handwritten, and we weren’t allowed to take a copy. This raised some concerns about price transparency. Hopefully, they improve this soon to make the experience more comfortable for future guests.

Overall:
Great food and atmosphere – just wish the billing process was more clear and open.

The place absolutely blew us away! The moment we walked in, the cosy, elegant vibe made the whole evening feel special. The mix of Peruvian and Japanese flavours is honestly a dream — every dish was beautifully presented and full of fresh, bold flavours.
The kids had the best time — they loved the juicy steaks and chicken, and even the fresh sushi was a big hit! The truffle rolls were unforgettable, the mains were cooked to perfection, and the desserts tasted like pure art.
The team were so warm and welcoming, especially with families, and watching the chef make the sushi rolls right in front of us was such a fun moment for the kids.
If you’re looking for affordable fine dining with a unique twist, Ayllu is definitely a must-visit. We’ll 100% be coming back! Thanks to Foysal for an excellent costumer service.

I had such a wonderful experience at Ayllu Restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the decor was stunning, warm, stylish and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a special evening. The service was excellent throughout; our waiter was attentive, friendly and made us feel truly welcome without ever being intrusive.

The food was absolutely incredible. Every dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented and a real celebration of fresh ingredients and creativity. Each course felt thoughtfully prepared and exceeded our expectations.

Altogether it was a fantastic dining experience with amazing food, outstanding service and a beautiful setting. I cannot wait to return and would highly recommend Ayllu to anyone looking for a memorable meal.

We came here for the 8 course tasting menu from Virgin experience. The restaurant is beautiful inside but as the weather was good everyone was sitting outside.
We got directed to our table, waited around 15 min for the waiter to come. Nobody passed him information that we have a voucher so that was a first sign of the poor communication. He told us he will check what we have included. For the next 30 min we didn’t hear from him which was very frustrating. We didn’t know if our voucher is sorted, or if they forgot about us. After this time we got our first course. All the food was delicious but it would so much nicer experience and less stressful if there would be any communication from the staff.

I would recommend the experience but their customer service needs to improve.

Between the two of us we ordered the Chicken Karaage, Chicken Bao, Aubergine Bao, Black Cod, Peruvian Fries and Yucas!

Chicken Karaage and the chicken Bao were delicious. The Aubergine was somewhat of a disappointment.

I personally liked the black cod but the taste was too much for my partner.

The fries were normal but the Yucas was nice. Very strong flavours.

Booked on a very short notice for a Sunday lunch with my wife. It’s a little bit hidden in a basement. Service was quick and good was good. Not overwhelming but good. Only brunch menu available, which was bottomless. Restaurant had a live DJ and was playing good tunes, for my liking a notch to loud.
Not sure why we had some samba dancers out for 5 min and doing as show, but that’s quite entertaining. Lucky they did not ask me to join in dancing, as they did to other guests.

Most of our fish, vegetarian and chicken dishes are Halal. Please let your waiter know so we can make sure there is no cross-contamination when preparing the order.

We recently hosted a dinner for a corporate group of 40 people at Bombay Palace in London, and the experience was truly outstanding from start to finish. Organizing an event for this many people can be challenging, but the staff and venue made it seamless and memorable.
🍽️ The Service & Coordination
The communication leading up to the event was excellent. The management team was incredibly accommodating in helping us plan a custom, fixed-price menu that catered to various dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free).

🍛 The Food Quality
The quality of the food was the star of the show. For large group catering, one often expects a dip in standard, but Bombay Palace maintained a very high culinary bar:
• Starters: The mixed platters, including the succulent Peshwari Lamb Chops and perfectly spiced Vegetable Samosas, were a huge hit.
• Mains: The group favorites were the rich and creamy Butter Chicken and the aromatic Lamb Rogan Josh. Our vegetarian guests raved about the vibrant Palak Paneer and Black Dal (Dal Makhani).
• Bread & Rice: The Naan breads (especially the Garlic and Peshwari) were soft and fresh, and the Pilau Rice was fluffy and fragrant.
The portions were generous, ensuring everyone left feeling fully satisfied.

Enjoyed a fantastic meal with work colleagues. The food was served quickly and tasted fantastic. Drinks were regularly replenished and lots of great options to choose from. The restaurant is accommodating to dieting requirements, however these separate meals were slower to come out from the kitchen. Had a lovely evening. Thank you

Great food as always in this 5 star restaurant. You will never be disappointed. Went for a meal on Diwali and had an amazing time. Lots of ppl were there and the ambience was buzzing yet chilled. It was the right mix. Service was excellent from the minute we stepped in with everyone smiling and politely saying hello or wishing us a Happy Diwali. Melbourn was our waiter and he was pleasant throughout. Attended all our needs with a postive attitude and never rushed us at any moment. He even went above and beyond at the end and took pictures of us at our request as we were leaving. He showed patience as we asked for quite a few! Bless him. Ordered Gol Gappe, Chilli Paneer and Chilli Momos as starters and they were 10/10. For mains we ordered Jeera Pulao, Chilli Naan, Potato Kulcha along with Daal Makhani and Paneer Makhani. Everything was sensational. Beautiful taste and the flavours were spot on. Compliments to the chef!

The food here is delicious and one of the first signs to know that is seeing Indian people eating here.

We had buffer lunch at this restaurant for 2 days. Their food was good but the service was not to the mark. The staff were quite rude saying not to go that side and this side. Their gulab Jamun was amazing. And the ice cream alongside was best. I asked for little sugar which they refused saying its not on our menu. I wish they speak with their guests a bit more politely.

The best Arabic food ever, delicious food, friendly staff, cosy place 🤍🤍

My buddy and I tried this place when we stayed nearby in London. I have had Middle Eastern food many times, but Masgouf specialized in Iraqi-style preparations. I never had that, but I loved it.

We were welcomed like family and treated like tru guests. I always appreciate that. The hummus was expertly prepared, and lamb mains were just as good. I'll come back.

I find immense joy in savoring the vibrant flavors of Iraqi cuisine, especially when it comes to kebabs. The tender, succulent meat, perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, combined with fragrant rice and an array of fresh herbs and vegetables, creates an unforgettable culinary experience that beautifully reflects the rich heritage and hospitality of Iraq.

We visited Masgouf for lunch, and it was great. We were the only ones in at that time, so we managed to get a good table by the doors. The staff are great and we got served very quickly. We went for a mix of starters: hoummos with meat, which was amazing, rich lentil soup, and a fresh beetroot salad with lemon juice. The mains were brilliant, I went for Kouzi with fall off the bone meat and soft puffy saffron rice. My better half went for Masgouf, which was a grilled seabass that tasted great. We also received a Mohalabiah on the house, which was sweet and fresh. Overall, a nice filling lunch for two for under £100, highly recommended!

Impeccable service by Ramy and his team! Every single visit has been mind blowing. They all treat you so well and with so much respect. The food itself is tasteful, atmosphere is amazing. Everyone is so welcoming, the team is so warm and always in good spirits.

It is the BEST satays in London. You can pass the information to your friends. The Malaysian waitors provided good service too.

That is the closest taste to home of Singapore. 🇸🇬 You can taste the fatty chicken & charcoal taste. It is traditional way of how Singapore does it… they BBQ the chicken sticks on the fire 🔥 charcoal. You can request pork, lamb or chicken. :)

Satay House Restaurant is such a nice spot and definitely a must-visit if you’re craving Malaysian food in London. It’s the oldest Malaysian restaurant in town and you can really taste the authenticity in their dishes.

The chicken satay was the highlight of our meal, so, so good! Honestly the best satay I’ve had in London. I had the bee hoon sup, which was the perfect warm and comforting bowl, while my boyfriend had the nasi goreng kampung. The flavours really hit the spot, though we both wished it still came with kangkung instead of peas. His parents ordered the Nasi Campur, and both the kari ayam and kari kambing were absolutely delicious.

Highly recommend this restaurant. They even have a menu that works really well for big groups. Authentic, tasty, and worth the visit!

We have tried Kari Laksa and Ayam Lemak Cili Api , both are finger licking good and very tasty. The portion sizes are decent too and the only thing would be cost of Roti bread is 9 GBP which i felt is too high just for a roti bread but its very good though . But otherwise its must visit and must try for this little cozy Malaysian food place

Nice place to enjoy some Malaysian Cuisine especially if you need some Sambal Belacan(note: not spicy enough for our SEA tastebuds).

This is my favourite Malay restaurant in London. I discovered it 10+ years ago thanks to a Malay friend and I always come back when visiting London. I particularly recommend their Kari Laksa, Nasi Lemak and Roti Chanai with fish curry sauce.

BKC - Biryani Kebab Chai - Marble Arch

We went there for dinner on a Saturday just before Christmas. One of my friends recommended this place and it didn't disappoint. Nice little place with a cafe vibe. Everything we ordered was delicious. We had lamb biryanis with lamb galouti and seekh kebabs as sides. It was authentic awadhi biryani and kebabs simply melted in mouth. Yes it is a bit pricey but hey you are right in the heart of central london next to Oxford Street. Overall a satisfying experience.

I treated my mum for her birthday and she was just blown away. I’m a huge foodie and I can proudly say this place does the best biryani. It’s rich, flavourful and to die for. All other dishes are just as brilliant. It’s dangerous this place is so close to me - I have to stop myself from eating here too much.

Excellent food and service!  We were in London for a few days and wanted a change of pace for dinner. We are so happy we chose BKC. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we enjoyed our experience. The staff asked thoughtful questions and made great suggestions to satisfy all our palates. Everything was delicious and fresh. You know a restaurant is good when there are plants of locals enjoying meals. I know this will be a stop on our next trip to London!

Came From Manchester and tried this place I must say BKC Indian Food is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of spices sets the tone for an incredible meal. Every dish is prepared with care, and the flavors are rich, bold, and perfectly balanced.
