Went to @rotikinguk again after I think almost 2/3 years maybe more I don’t even know anymore, but either way the queue was even worse than the first time, I waited about 1hr 15mins in total 🥲 but in a way it shows how good the food is if ppl are willing to wait for it, found a place nearby as a backup & someone in the queue told me not to bother as it’ll disappoint so I decided to wait 🥲

Anyway, the food.

Beef Rendang: 9/10

Cost £8 & for me it was the right portion, on a bad day I’d have needed 2 rounds of it but this time round the rendang was soooo much better than the first time I had it, also the duck dish has been removed 😪💔 but it had like a mild citrusy hint to it as well which was beautiful.

Sweet roti: 7.5/10

Second dish was this sweet roti with caramelised brown sugar & bananas, this was really good but I felt like it needed some sort of single cream or double cream even to make it even better but was still decent either way.

Roti King

Famous place with queues outside, people can't wait to get in for the incredible Malaysian dishes. Recommend this if anyone is looking for authentic Malaysian food. I've heard Roti King is known for offering nice Malaysian food, and they certainly didn't disappoint. The food is brilliant and absolutely worth a visit, even though very often, would have  to wait for a while before taking the stairs down and entering the restaurant. You would be amazed how delicious the dishes would taste. We come all the way from Manchester, and it is worth waiting for.

Roti King is a small diner located near Euston Station, the menu is well priced and affordable compared to many places around the area. Food tastes fresh and quite hygienic - obvious by the way we are able to see them cooking. Waiters are friendly and calm despite how busy it is! Be sure to arrive early as soon as its opened or you would have to wait in queue. Delicious Malaysian Food!

Classic hole in the wall type of restaurant with a limited menu where the food speaks for itself. You looking at Malaysian cuisine with a focus on Roti (obviously) and you only get one chance to order. This is good because it keeps the tables rotating at a good pace, which is handy because you can’t book and have to queue outside. We only waited 10 min though so not that bad.

Had been waiting to try this for a while, arrived before opening time and there was already a queue. It moves fast so don't be put off, but it is a quick in and out service, we were in and out within 40 minutes and we were there longer than most. They have tried to make the most of the space, but not much room for bags/coats! Food was good and more filling than we thought. Would recommend the noodle/rice dishes.

Great experience, it is well worth the waiting time in that long queue. Unfortunately they don't accept reservations, as the restaurant is quite small.
The food was so so delicious. The service was very efficient.

Honest Burgers Warren St

Very friendly and welcoming staff. They also asked and for our food allergies. We asked for well done and it was well done. The burgers were very tasty. The chips for me was good my wife loved them. I believed that it was a little bit expensive but after one two days in London I believe that the prices in the honest burger are very honest

Absolutely amazing and delicious. I asked for a gluten free bun and immediately I was asked if it was an allergy and if anyone at our table had any allergies they needed to take into account. When we got our food, I couldn’t stop eating even though I was stuffed already. Highly recommend this place. Especially to those in the IBS community. You won’t regret it!

This is my favourite burger place. Right beside the hospital I work. Staff are forever pleasant. Food is consistently good. The price is very reasonable. Love it.

My partner recommended me the burger here. I tried the special one - Warren street burger with the kimchi. It tastes delicious and fresh. Also like the chips here as it's crispy. The amount of food is large for a lady, cannot finish all the chips and the extra sides - have to take away in the end. But it is a nice place if a group of people dine in together! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff! Also like the burger beer here.

Delicious Plant Burger, the huge serving of Rosemary chips were SO good. Also got the mint lemonade which was nice. The two staff running the floor for evening service on April 12 were super cool and lovely, didn’t catch their names. Tables were clean too! Overall a good experience. Location is moments from Warren St tube.

All of the chicken in our restaurants is halal. If you would like to see our supplier’s halal certificate please ask your server when you arrive. Halal products are stored separately with strict processes in place to stop cross-contamination. Halal chicken items are handled with separate utensils and gloves. Fried halal chicken burgers and wings do not share fryers with any non-halal items. Grilled halal chicken breast burgers are cooked on a reserved area of the grill separated by a grill divider. We do not offer halal beef at any of our restaurants.

Honest Burgers

Inspired by Korea's chicken-and-beer “chimaek” joints

Can't get your fix of KFC? Then you can try some Korean Fried Chicken from @sojuandco who serve halal chicken. .

We orderd the garlic and soy half chicken which comes in 9 peices.  I didn't find the chicken very flavoursome, I couldn't taste the garlic or soy. The chicken was crispy, but not that juicy or tender. .

We also got some a seafood pan cake and a Tteokboki, which were really different but really good. Definitely better than that chicken. .

I wouldn't really come back, as there was a smell of pork being cooked as this is a Korean BBQ. The fried chicken is cooked separately from the BBQ pork. You can check their instagram page for a picture of the halal chicken box/supplier. .

WingWing Krispy Chicken

Have been coming here since they opened and I love it so much! Crispy, juicy and full of flavour wings and drumsticks. Love the battered green beans and the seaweed fries, something different. A little bit on the pricey side but have found getting the hot wings box with calamari and prawns is a better deal. Would be good if there were different box deal combinations as we always tend to have the wings and drumsticks. Would definitely recommend coming here. All good here is halal.

Wanted to try this place, heard the hype, wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

I ordered a portion of the 6 wings with honey and soy. Also wanted to try calamari and prawns but was told they didn't have any prawns so I ordered a portion of 3 drumsticks in liquorice flavour which I haven't tried before (I was told its sweetish).  Total came to £15, didn't order any sides.

Take a look at the photos, looks amazing but sadly the taste didn't meet my expectations.

Chicken was very oily and with just one serviette, I had to get more to to absorb the excess grease. The chicken didn't seem cooked through, tastes bland too. The portion of wings wasn't all wings either.

To be fair the honey and soy tasted nicer than the liquorice and the skin was as crispy as can be.

There was toilets and a disabled toilet too.

Plenty of seats. Seating outside too.

Not sure if I would return though.

You should definitely try this chicken!!! This is so far my best chicken wing in the UK. Their chicken wings are different with other restaurant in the UK.
Usually in the UK the chicken wings are tasteless, but here I can even lick my finger because it taste so good! You must try the garlic chicken wing. The chicken strip is not as good as the chicken wing.
There are promos during lunch! You should not miss the promo. I have provide menu on my photo.

I was super excited about going to wing wing because of the hype it was getting because of the Korean fried chicken. I ordered whizzards soy-garlic and hot chicken, hot krispy battered calamari and prawns and sea weed fries.
To be honest, it was a mixed feeling, the hot chicken was not hot at all, soy garlic had no taste of garlic. But the chicken itself being deep fried had a good crunch and was very juicy despite me ordering boneless ones.
The hot prawn and calamari were the same as the chicken, was not hot in any sort, just like any batter fried ones. But i must admit the calamari was amazing in texture. Not like the rubbery once which we get when ppl deep fry it.
The seaweed fries was a let down, dint do justice to seaweed at all. Well, it was long thin krispy fries, with a splash of powdered seaweed and spices on it.
The quality was good, but flavour wise a let down.

Went on a weekday afternoon, ordered soy-garlic chicken drumsticks, calamari and a chicken burger. All fried food had a pale white flour coating, drumsticks are weirdly pale on the inside, probably marinated for 3-4 days ago in a warm environment. Burger buns drenched in oil while the soy-garlic sauce that goes along with most food tasted odd, with no garlicky flavour at all. With due respect to the staff they were kind, but it’s fair to say that the shop achieved the unachevable of poor tasting fast food.

Korean fried chicken, everything on the menu is Halal. Alcohol is served.

Throw back to steak night Mexican 🇲🇽 style from one of the only few authentic Mexican restaurants in London @mestizorestaurant .

Menu has loads of options, proper stuff. Double check with what is halal as menus and suppliers can change without notice. But last time I went it was halal chicken and beef.

Mestizo Mexican Restaurant

We've always had a good experience at Mestizo - the meat is excellent, well marinated and cooked to perfection. The portions are generous, and the staff is exceptionally careful and always willing to offer something on the house. Mestizo is our only choice when we want Mexican or have meat-loving friends or family coming over.
I would highly recommend!

Great traditional dishes, plenty of varied dishes to choose from. Visited with my partner at the beginning of the year and was very pleased with the food, staff and overall service provided. Food was excellent, staff were attentive without being over bearing and general ambience great. Would highly recommend if you enjoy traditional Mexican food and a good atmosphere

Good ambiance but slow kitchen, and mediocre food.

I was really unhappy in my last visit. We ordered dessert and told them we had to leave at a certain time but told them a good 20-25 minutes in advance. Things took a long time, and we were promised things are coming... So we trusted them and we paid in full in advance. Once we paid, we were told, "oh we ran out of your dessert"... and at that time we had to leave. Yet somehow they had the audacity to offer us an insincere apology and drinks at the bar knowing very well that we had to leave... This is completely unprofessional and dishonest. I'd rather support other honest businesses instead.

Are you a fan of Mexican food?, would you like to try authentic Mexican food?, this places offers you many traditional dishes, from tacos and quesadillas, to birria and pozole. Health and safety measures is very important in this place, you need to use your mask, until the take you to your table. I went for the brunch promotion which all you can eat for 1 price, (ask the shop in case prices change). They recommend you the starters first, on the left side is the pozole, birria and menudo stand, which is kind of broth with different meat and taste, on the right side os the tacos and quesadillas stand, which is the most popular and I recommend instead of asking for 2 o 3 tacos or quesadillas, ask for a mix dish, and tell them how many you want 6,7,8 etc. Because you need to que with your mask and as is very popular you might need to wait for a bit longer. After you finish with your starters make sure you make some space for the main dish with is a combination of different Mexican dishes, after you finish with your main you have a very nice dessert. You are entitled to have a jug of Jamaica or horchata jug (delicious) and an alcoholic drink. Waiters are very attentive, polite and friendly. The place is smallish, but very clean and neat. I enjoyed it thoroughly, and I ate like a piggy wiggy 😁...

Fantastic authentic food with great vegan options (even have a separate vegan menu). Some of the staff have an attitude but the manager Albert was excellent and smoothed the evening out. Would highly recommend for a delightful night out with a lively atmosphere.

All our meat is halal, except pork, of course, which is cooked separately.
