It was quite difficult to find the place when we arrived today since there was no signage as it was like a warehouse. Thankfully, we asked one of the guys outside and told us to go to Kitchen 11. Had to walk further more from the kitchen to the dining area but the male service staff is very kind and helpful.

The atmosphere is nothing fancy but it was quite cold inside like there was an AC running. The seafood boil was delicious with generous portions albeit the long wait for it (which they already informed us beforehand). We ordered with lemon garlic sauce, as I'm not fan of spicy, which I found a tad bland for me but perhaps it is how it's done. I would still recommend.

Food was tasty, huge portions enough to food a family of 4 even for a box for 2 people. Generous servings of prawns and comes with sauces and sides included. Did take long time to be made and finding the place was difficult since had to navigate inside the building to find it. Wait time very long but beside that great food.

It was not easy to locate because there's no outdoor signage. Someone inside saw us looking lost and came to bring us in, she was a customer too.
The food was good, although we didnt get to eat much. The taste was perfect, I loved the spiciness.
The environment was not best though and the wait time for the food? You're gonna wait.

But it's an experience you'll love if seafood boil is your thing. The guy that attended to us was also very helpful while doing his work.

It's definitely something you'll like. Not to forget, the portions were amazing too.

I ordered lots of food for my birthday and the service was absolutely amazing! Everyone was so kind and made massive efforts for the food to be delivered on time, to my requirements and without any hassle.

My guests (15 people) LOVED the food and a few have ordered since. I will continue to put people on as this is one of my favourite spots in Manchester.

I would 100% recommend and will be ordering again very soon! Thank you again to all the amazing staff that made the day so special!

Staff were very friendly and helpful , the food was on time like shown in the app and it was so good. Definitely try the XXL seafood boil worth the money.

This was a really enjoyable experience! From the get-go, the staff were all super friendly and welcoming.

The overall atmosphere in the restaurant was quiet, but the music was very upbeat and enjoyable - country vibes. They have great murals on the walls which would appeal to younger diners.

We ordered the pre-arranged selection for two people with garlic butter (mild) which was so tasty! I’ll admit the head-on shrimp and snow crab legs were a task BUT that’s more user error than a fault with the restaurant. We also got a side of medium Cajun sauce which definitely has a kick (don’t get above medium if your spice tolerance is low) but is also super tasty along with some bread, which was fairly standard.

I would absolutely recommend for anyone getting into seafood or simply wanting to try out the “seafood boil” experience. Although on the pricier side, I would say that you get what you pay for quality-wise.

Food was pretty decent, the prawns can be fresher. The mussels — nawww, not fresh. Side order fries was delicious. Service was good, Leyla was super helpful and polite to us. A little overpriced for the quality of seafood if I gonna be honest. Cajun sauce mix was average, strangely, our side order of garlic butter sauce was way better.

The food was amazing and the seasoning was perfect. The staff were super friendly, outgoing, and genuinely kind. They even sang happy birthday for me, let us charge our phones because my friend’s battery was dying, and brought us plates so we could eat our cake. One of the staff even helped my friend roll up her sleeves so she wouldn’t get messy while eating the seafood. Service was excellent!!

I really recommend this restaurant! I’d definitely love to come back in the future！

Nice staff, good food (I would have liked a fork - but I suppose it’s part of the theatre of the place to eat with your hands - in gloves)
No alcohol (which is fine) but good to know, as we fancied a glass of wine with our lobster! Good selection of soft drinks though.

It’s a must go and experience place.

Absolutely amazing as always! I’ve lost count of how many times we’ve visited Jimmy's Killer Prawns, and it never disappoints. Each visit is a delightful culinary experience that leaves us eager for more. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a casual dinner or a fun night out.

Since our last visit, they've added an exciting array of new extras to the menu, which has truly elevated the dining experience. I must say, my new favorite is the loaded fries—one portion is definitely not enough! They’re perfectly seasoned and topped with mouthwatering ingredients that truly take them to the next level.

The staff is always friendly and attentive, ensuring that we feel right at home. Keep up the exceptional work, Team Jimmy's! We can’t wait for our next visit to indulge in more delicious dishes. Highly recommended! 👏👏

Place was busy, we got seated after a 5 mins wait. Service and atmosphere were great, no complaints there.

Bad: Got the Mongolian beef sizzler. Disgusting. Waaaaay too much soy sauce which made it very bitter. Avoid this dish.

Good: The rice it came with were nice.
The a creamy mushroom pasta dish was tasty, as were the dynamite prawns and loaded fries. The prawn platter was grilled well but the marinade just doesn't get through to the prawns, once the shell is removed the prawns are too plain, choose the next spice level up from what you think you can handle because I ordered the Extra spicy but it was like Medium. The trio of sauces were tasty.

If you love shrimp, you have to stop by Jimmy's! The shrimp was steamed/cooked to perfection and I mean perfection! Dozens and dozens of shrimp piled mile high was served by our very kind server. The place was clean and they even had those lemon wet wipes to wipe your hands from the shrimp fest. Plenty of seating inside but come prepares to look for parking as  street parking is your option

This place is quite cool. After seeing my friends go there several times I thought it must be amazing.  The calamari starter is lovely, however the prawns for me had a weird texture.  It may just be me or may have been an odd batch! Cool flavours.

We enjoyed our visit yesterday. After 3 years since I lasted visited, we decided t9 come back again and we can't regret that decision. The service from Shimi was just lovely, she really took care of us and was also there to make sure we enjoyed every bit of it. We booked for 2 and the table and chair was not spacious but the manager was so thoughtful to change our seats when we requested. That's lovely and beautiful.

We shall come back again.

We visited this week and loved it. The space is tiny and can only can accommodate a few people at a time but you are able to order online for take away. The food was tasty and the only thing I would change would be the mac and cheese as it was not really my kind of taste. The staff were friendly. The only downside was the fact that we had to wait for over 30 mins for the food to arrive

My husband and I visited today for the first time and had an absolutely incredible experience! We both ordered the Surf Box with lobster tail and king prawns — the food was outstanding. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The service was friendly and the atmosphere really welcoming. Can’t wait to go back!

My best friend and I dined at Soul & Surf on Friday and thought our meal was flavoursome. I ordered lobster and prawns main with 2 sides and my friend ordered the salmon and prawns main with 2 sides. My friend would of liked a larger salmon filet as he only received a slim one. The fried and jollof rice were delicious as were the s&s fries.

I would return to this restaurant again thats for sure as I enjoyed my meal.

We travelled to Manchester for a day out and decided to eat at Soul and turf. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. The Mac and cheese was delicious, the gizzard and Dodo were soft spicy sweet. The meat and seafood was tender and seasoned well. The jollof Rice was okay but better with the pepper sauce. The only thing that let it down was the drinks on the menu were limited for example they Didn’t have zobo. But due to everything else, I would definitely be back.

Great portion and and price. Food is definitely chippy standard.
Grease leaked through the paper and cardboard box onto the table though. Also they gave us 1 fork for 4 meals.

This is the best fish & chips (with curry sauce) I've had in a long time! Great value for money with the 'special' deal. Sat in to eat it and the staff were friendly. Will definitely be back and would 100% recommend.

So it was very cheap. Too cheap in many ways when to compare it to what you pay where I am from in the south. Half the price. The quality of the chips was good but the fish had no taste and the battery was thick. Very acceptable but no wow factor.
