Chick ‘n’ Sours style flavour and flair

A few months ago the trendy Chicken shop @lovechikn opened a second location right in the middle of soho taking over Brgr that closed for business. The first shop in Baker Street does really good chicken burgers so I had high expectations for this new location. .

This location definitely has more of a fast food vibe, I decided to get the special Korean Double Chicken burger, which was too messy to eat for me and I had trouble enjoying eating it due to its size. The Burger itself was good, nice crunchy texture on the outside and tender juicy chicken on the side with nice asain flavours, but not as good as I was hoping for. 6.5/10 .

Also I got a classic burger, well I say I, I mean a friend but to their horror (and I have to be honest here), part of their chicken burger was pink and under cooked. To their credit staff were shocked and dealt with the issue well, and offered replacements and extras if we wanted. Luckily I don't think my friend ate any of the under cooked part of the chicken!

With there being another fried chicken shop a short walk away, naturally comparasions will be drawn. I would pick @coqfighteruk as my recommendation, slightly more in price but the seating, vibe, service and quality of food is better .

All chicken is halal and high welfare. One non halal item and its handled separately. Alcohol is present. My meal was complimentary and thoughts my own.

Chicken Shop

The food was absolutely delicious, and the location in Soho made it perfect with plenty to do before or after the meal. Service was outstanding, and even the checkout process was quick and straightforward. The shop itself was clean and comfortable.

While it’s a little pricier than your average chicken shop, it’s still affordable and the quality justifies it. The burgers had a unique and memorable flavor that really stood out. And the mango and coconut shake? Pure heaven!! I’d come back just for that alone.

I can honestly say this is the best chicken I’ve had in London – absolutely unbeatable. Crispy, juicy, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. You can immediately tell why this place has such a strong reputation.

It was my very first visit, and I was genuinely impressed not only by the food but also by the service. Rahul made the whole experience outstanding – he was friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful every step of the way. From the moment I walked in until I left, I felt really looked after, which is rare these days and makes such a difference.

The atmosphere was lively, the food exceeded every expectation, and the service was second to none. I left not only full but genuinely delighted – it’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again.

Huge thank you to Rahul and the team – you turned my first visit into an experience I won’t forget. I’ll definitely be returning soon, and I’ll be bringing friends along with me.

Highly recommend Chicken Shop – this is where London’s best chicken lives!

One of the best chicken burgers I've ever had.  It was crispy, tender, succulent, and just right.  My only complaint is the size of the restaurant, as there is *very* limited seating and what is available is cramped. Basically you enter, order from one of the kiosks, grab a buzzer, try to find a seat, then go up to grab your food when the buzzer rings.  Definitely more of a takeout joint than a sit down.

My second time in a week! Good halal burger and my fav will always be their fries because it just TASTE GOOD ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS STILL WARM 😍💕🫶🏻

Absolutely great place for a quick bite or to sit in and eat till your hearts content! Great price the meal deal (burger, fries and bottomless drinks) was only £15 and it's a very good portion. Staff are very friendly, clean space and easy to navigate on the self service checkout. The flavours are amazing I recommend the BBQ or the spicy!

Our chicken is certified Halal to the highest welfare standards. Please be aware that we do handle bacon as well, though if you request it, our servers can change gloves for your order.
