Hands down my favourite Kebebs/grilled meat in London from @berenjaklondon. A hole on a wall style restaurant bang in the middle of Soho. Chicken and lamb are halal.

We had the pleasure of visiting Berenjak for lunch, and what an experience it was! We booked our table two months in advance.

We opted for the set menus, and from the very first bite to the last, the food was simply outstanding. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were unfailingly polite and attentive. Even with the set menu, the portions were generous, by the end, we were delightfully full.

At one point, we had ordered an additional dish outside the set menu, which was accidentally missed. When we mentioned it and asked to cancel (as we couldn’t possibly eat another bite), our server not only removed it from the bill but also surprised us with a complimentary dessert as an apology. Considering the restaurant was constantly packed, this thoughtful gesture truly spoke volumes about the quality of their service.

It was, without question, worth the two-month wait. Highly, highly recommended.

Delicious, fresh and authentic tasting Persian food. I can certainly see why this place was hyped all over social media. Bonus points for the staff being welcoming and friendly throughout. The atmosphere was buzzing, lots of nationals to this cuisine present. The khoobideh was the softest kebab I’d ever eaten in my life and the aubergine dip absolutely TO DIE FOR.

I absolutely loved the experience at this place, food was amazing, just the perfect balance of dips,  breads, rice, meats and salad. Honestly what an amazing intro to Persian food, I need to come back to try some of the other dishes! Incredible service by Ifran too, you were an absolute star, taking care of us and making us feel so special as first timers thank you :)

I managed to get a spot at the bar where I could see everyone in action. Think “the Bear”, but friendly, with Iranian music in the background.
I tried the lunch menu which was too much food but I didn’t care. Lamb was perfection, aubergine salad and yogurt salad so fresh and full of flavor. Georgian wine paired perfectly with everything. One of the best meals of the year. Book early!

Absolutely delicious meal. One of our recent top picks of restaurants we’ve tried in London in recent memory. Flavours were bold and worked really well together. Ingredients were fresh. And the reasonably priced set dinner enables you to try several of their top appetizers/breads and mains. We were too full to try their dessert. Most definitely reserve ahead of time or else it’ll be a late dinner for you.
