Alounak

A well-known Iranian restaurant, away from the noise. They offer many options and have special menus for vegetarians. It’s recommended to book a table in advance so you don’t have to wait. The prices are a bit high, and the service is decent. Overall, the restaurant is small and the music is quite loud. If you’re staying in the Gloucester area, it’s best to take the train to Bayswater Station, then walk for about 9 minutes to reach the restaurant.

Amazing experience went with family and we loved it. Great food and we loved our persian food experience. The kebabs were soft and succulent and the lamb curry with ladyfingers was outstanding. Great service a must visit for notting hill.

Excellent food and friendly staff. Persian menu is rich with healthy choices. The decor is authentic Persian. The price is relatively to the high side.

Had an amazing Persian meal at Alounak in Bayswater. The Chelow Kebab Koobideh was delicious. Big thanks to Lkhagva for the great service. Highly recommend!

Just been there, fantastic.
Recommended by a friend, I got mirza  ghassemi as starter and koobideh as main, upon suggestion by the very kind staff.
Everything was absolutely delicious, flavour was on spot and the lamb super juicy. Taftoon bread was the best I had so far, so good that I had to order 2! Meal completed with a refreshing faloodeh and nice glass of tea.
Really authentic place, with a lot of personality on both location itself and food.
I’ll be visiting it again for sure.
