1. The cross-contamination occurred when the staff wearing yellow gloves went from the washing sink to place some items in it, then touched the plate with his thumb touching the sauce surrounding steamed sea bass. Then brought the dish out of the kitchen. Placed it onto the counter where the other roasted meats were hanged at. Then someone else without gloves bringing it back to the kitchen. Then another staff bringing that same dish out of the kitchen. A kitchen requires a preparation station/washing station/ a serving station to be separated. The staff wearing the yellow gloves touching the washing sink and then touching the plate and dish IS cross contamination. Once the dish has left the kitchen, it shouldn’t be returned back and then brought out again.

2. Initially, my brother left an honest (and continued) review to be as accurate. Check his first review/comment: he said it was not an authentic chinese restaurant/ experience. He has the right as someone who dined there to leave a review of their experience. All 4 of us had an unpleasant experience, but my brother decided to be more vocal and for the first time left a review because of how upset he was - as he was the one who was eager to dine here out of all of us. And he did not leave a racist comment. He merely commented on the ethnicity to prove that he was present as you insinuated that he did not exist in your reply. He (and myself) is half asian himself so please do not twist the chain of events.

3. Yes, dissatisfaction of the food can be improved once you accept the lower starred reviews. That is the whole point. How did I take it to the next level to tarnish your business? You claimed my brother’s review is biased and lame - and again, insinuated he did not exist. Is this the best way to handle negative but honest reviews from your customers? Surely you can do better.

4. Are you implying that it’s “safe enough” and we are merely making a fuss? No. I stopped eating completely once I saw the cross contamination. However, out of pure courtesy and politeness the rest of my family decided to continue to eat as it is food at the end of the day, and there are people who do not have food to eat. So, just because they have that level of good character, they are unreasonable to choose to stay and eat?

5. Sure, to be a successful business owner one should consider all types of reviews; good and bad. Good to encourage the business and the bad ones, to learn reflect and improve. However, calling all the negative reviews as biased (my brother’s comment was not the only one that you replied in this manner) is distasteful. To continue bullying and attacking my brother as non-existent shows others how you handle your business. Do better.

Staff were extremely unprofessional and did not follow hygienic measures; cross contamination between staff and location was dangerous and appalling. Waitress had no idea what was on the menu but tried her best.

Dined here during my postgraduate graduation ceremony visit in London (dated 12Jan2024 at 12.45 -1.50pm). Food was not cooked properly (steamed ginger and soy fish had no ginger, ginger and spring onion beef had ginger but was 80% onion and bland like plain corn starch), unhygienic staff and fish was not fresh.

The owner/management will claim the review is “biased or fake” if they disagree with it, or unless you give a positive review.

I wanted to ignore and not entertain by leaving a review but them leaving rude remarks for my brother who dined with myself and my parents that left an honest and as accurate review to warn others - was not acceptable.

This used to be a place we enjoyed dining at years ago but I suppose it may have been a different owner/management. It used to be a great place to dine with delicious food. Now, we’ve got unprofessional staff and service that give condescending remarks to reviewers who rate them 1 star (see review below me where they claim that the “hairy chicken was due to the ginger”). Really? Where was my ginger in my steamed ginger and soy seabass?

My friend and I enjoyed our evening meal on Tuesday so much, that I ended up going back for lunch the next two days. The food here is INCREDIBLE and amazing value for money! The service is also top notch, especially Patricia, who is an asset to this restaurant and made us feel incredibly welcome and looked after us so well. She is the true meaning of service with a smile. If you’re nearby and looking for a decent meal then don’t hesitate to come here. I would highly recommend the house special fried rice and sweet & sour chicken! The spring rolls are also a great starter!

Highly recommend Peking duck. Have been 3x, and ordered it every time. Some starter portions have decreased unfortunately, however, the mains are still more than enough per person.

ordered the stir fry hor fun with egg gravy for my dinner a few days back and i must say that it was exceptionally rich and delicious. it was nice to see that the chef had catered me well to my special requests (extra spicy and more soy sauce). service was quick, waitresses/waiter were welcoming and friendly. would definitely go here again 🤩

Yes, I only reviewed once because not in my life, have I ever been to such a filthy restaurant who makes their dishwasher staff touch cooked food.
Not have I ever seen such arrogant and unprofessional service from the management. You are scared of my review? One review is scaring you.
Since you decided not to act accordingly. I have clear evidence and pictures of your disgusting health and safety standards.
That being said, the appropriate authorities have been informed.

It’s not racism, I myself am Asian and hence why I chose to eat at what I thought would be authentic Asian restaurant, shame it was just a day-light robbery establishment.
Once again, I shall NOT and DO NOT wish anyone to risk eating at this establishment. Did I say I was dissatisfied? I said I’m disgusted and appalled by your food hygiene standards. There’s no curtain to hide; everyone can see my account here, it is not “Anonymous”. Your business? You call this a business? Dear audience, please do see the current reviews by other people; it is not just me saying this establishment's service and food is atrocious.
I repeat again, it is not about the money/refund, it is the fact:
1) You gave false advertisement of the food on the menu.
2) Your management was just unprofessional and rude.
3) Most importantly, food hygiene and safety was DISGUSTING AND APPALLING.

You or your manager is Indian and even admitted to his mistake and removed the service charge on our bill.
Your waitress is Indian/Nepali? She didn’t even know the menu or what we were referring to in the menu.

The cook who does the noodles is a chubby guy, and your dishwasher boy with the yellow gloves, is tall and skinny.

I don’t need your cheap “full refund”. I’ll let you run a business with embarrassment and shame.

Super delicious food, everything was made super fresh.
The Pad Thai was super flavourful and the prawns and vegetable rolls were super crisp.
The atmosphere is super cozy and pretty inside, with the staff super attentive to make sure your happy with your service. I was served by Rohit and his service was amazing.
Will definitely be back!

Amazing place I love it here the staff are always friendly the atmosphere is nice. The food is great good portions and I love the 2 for 1 drinks. I love the vegan options here so much verity and clearly labelled vegan on the menu.

Really tasty great quality food. The quality of food was fresh fruit juices were freshly squeezed. Elijah and Elvin provided a great service.

Top notch coconut icecream. Good value for money considering the quality of food provided. But for a family of 4 with student discount and kids eat free was about £60. Lost a start as dont take cash.

Beautiful food. Good portions, couldn't finish my main. Would come again.

I recently visited for lunch and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. The welcoming atmosphere and the ambiance create the perfect dining experience. The food was mouth-watering and exceeded my expectations to be honest. Our server, Munna was incredibly polite and friendly, always making sure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I must give a special mention to his attentiveness - he was always on top of things ensuring that we had a smooth experience. All in all, it was a pleasant experience and I would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service.

Arrived there for dinner with my family as a bit of a last minute decision. We were escorted downstairs to a really unique and wonderful dining room! The food was great overall, standouts being the beef ribs, truffle pasta (amazing) and the the banana wrapped in kadayif (think a kunefe with banana), also the onion rings!
On an honest note, it's certainly on the pricier end. Things like starters and desserts just sit £2-3 over an ideal price point. Then main dishes like the biryani are priced around £20 -35. At that price I would've like to see a larger portion that would be good for sharing. I would definitely go back, they've only just opened, and after a chat with their super friendly manager, he gave me the feeling that prices and menu would be adjusted over time to make it a more accessible, regular spot for as many people as possible. At the moment for me personally, it's more of a special occasion kind of place, which is still fine!

The food was okay. They didn't have several items available at it was a Saturday night and only 6pm. The Angus burger was quite good, really juicy but the bottom bun completely fell apart as soon as it was served to us. The ribs were melt in your mouth (a little sweet and maybe needed more smokiness). The prawns were very average, but the tempura mushrooms were a highlight (esp the sauce that comes with). Banana fritter dessert was very nice. I had made a request for a celebration but what they provided was quite disappointing. Several other tables weren't too happy and one large group left before ordering as so many dishes were unavailable. Service was terribly slow and unattentive.

Went there for early dinner with a group of ladies on a weekday .Staff was very welcoming and polite. Priscilla & Brittany was amazing. Beautiful place , great food and delicious desserts especially the Fried Banana Fritters! A must try!!
Will go back again for lovely food and mocktails.

The place has a unique ambience. We loved the Mediterranean feeling of being in a well lit cave.

The food was scrumptious and fresh. Most delicious for me was the white prawn starter and the beef Udon noodles. Kids loved the steaks and lasagna

Knowing it was 100% halal just added to our comfort.

I can understand you reduced the portion, squeezed the size of your chicken and increased the price due to the current cost of living crisis. Food was great but the whole experience was ruined by a member of staff called Toby.

Toby told me off and my friend as if he was addressing school children. His accused us of walking through the door and sitting at a table where in fact we waited at the till but there was no one to welcome us and 3 minutes later we made our way upstairs to a table and placed an order through the App. When he came back to the table I made it clear that we were not happy with the way we were treated and how he previously walked on us as we were talking to him, he said I had to get your water... Then walked off again. Not happy at all and will reconsider future visits to this branch. I hope a manager gets to read this and inform Toby that customers have a certain level of expectation when visiting Nandos. This is my first bad experience with Nanods in the many years I have been a customer.

We have 385 restaurants, 72 of which serve only Halal chicken and are signposted both in the restaurant and online. A small proportion of chicken sold in our other restaurants may also be Halal.

Recommended to me by a Malaysian colleague, I went with my boyfriend for dinner. We were very happy with the food, especially the oxtail soup, the aubergine in sweet curry and the lamb korma. We also ordered the coconut rice and the seafood fried rice -very tasty as well. We'll have to come back for dessert another time.

The food was amazing, the soft drinks are a little pricey, the venue is nice and immaculate, there service is brilliant and the team were catering to all my needs they were flexible with menu and really helpful allowing me to feed my child in a private room, the food was efficient in time being served. Had a lovely experience. Will recommend and go back again. Full halal menu and also a designated prayer room.

Excellent and authentic Malaysian food. All the dishes were prepared and cooked very well, bursting with flavour. We especially enjoyed the chicken satay, which was very flavourful and nicely charred. The roti was nice and flaky and the beef rendang was very tender. Would recommend for a great Malaysian feast!

The food here was delicious. The workers were amazing young people. I went at an extremely busy time and they courteously explained to me and personally to others too that their food might take longer because of the crowd. I saw them check in with folks intermittently. Ultimately, the food did not take an unreasonable amount of time to get out. I see why this place is popular! If you're reading this review, make up your mind already and give this a shot!

Felt like a home cooked dinner - brilliant food and warm friendly service. Highly recommend the beef rendang and spicy tomato Chicken curry.

I will definitely be returning and eat more of the satay goreng!

Authentic, traditional Malaysian Restaurant

I have never had Malaysian food before so comment on how authentic it is but in terms of quality it is incredible. Freshly prepared and delicious, staff are incredible and would really recommend Malaysian tea. The restaurant is no frills but it kind of adds to the atmosphere, it can get busy so could be worth calling and reserving table but we did just walk in, don’t feel like this a dress up kind of dinner, very informal setting. It can be a little hard to find, it’s tucked in the corner right next to Russian video store.

Some of the best food in London. Phenomenal flavours, value and exquisite dishes. Normah’s is hidden away, but truly a delight. We had the roti dahl - the flakiest roti/flatbread ever. Noodles were the highlight - amazing flavours. Rendang was delicious. The fried chicken was more like it had been battered, but there was amazing taste and texture to it. We also had some lovely milk tea. As you can tell we ordered too much, but will definitely be back!

Normah was very sweet cooking away in the kitchen! Highly recommend!

We went to eat at Normah’s for our first time this evening and we left full of delicious food! I was so impressed with the authenticity of the dishes we ordered, as well as the love and care that the waiter and Normah put in to treating their customers. The chicken wings were so crispy and juicy! I’ve never had wings so perfect before. The roti with dahl was such a heart warming dish and our entrees we got were out of this world. I got the nasi goreng with prawn and the flavours were to die for! ❤️ Every bite was full of flavour and I’ll definitely get try it spicier next time! My partner got the vegetarian curry laksa and the flavours were fantastic. We can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic service and amazing food. This is the best and most authentic Malaysian food I have had since I had some in Malaysia! It is situated in a nice cozy corner of Queensway plaza run by Normah herself and her son (I assume?). This will be a regular spot for me and my wife for days to come!

Managed to snaffle a table without a reservation (it’s very small, but the guy manning the front of house is really friendly and will try to accommodate you if at all possible), and we’re so glad we did. What a great Malaysian restaurant!

We had the nasi lemak with beef rendang and also with fried chicken. Both were fantastic, but I think the chicken just edged it out. My friend took an omelette, which he really enjoyed. We also had the roti with dhal - the roti was really oily, but really good; crisp and flaky with a lot of layers. The dhal was delicious too.

Prices are super reasonable, with the exception of the teh tarik which is a very small paper cup for £3.50. The menu has a lot of variety and I’m looking forward to returning and trying more dishes.

It’s a bit difficult to find, at the back of Queensway market (back left as you enter). Definitely recommend!

First time carrying this new restaurant. Pleasantly surprised by the decorations and cocktail list. It was not a big menu but the food was good. Loved the beef tartar and the arancini. Had sea beam for main and it was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Unfortunately when we would like to order desserts, first we were told only chocolate surprise is available and we ordered that. Later we’re informed that even the chocolate surprise is not ready so no dessert for us. It’s a major let down given the meal had been great so far. Would really like to try their desserts as well which may have to wait for the next time.

Found the Residency by chance as I was walking through the neighbourhood. Really like the ambiance. Nice decor, good music. The service wasn’t great. I had to chase my waiter to get my drink, and we had to ask twice to get the bill. Cocktail had a lovely presentation and taste. The tuna tartare was yummy, though maybe could use some extra flavour. Was disappointed they “ran out of truffle fries the night before”. Definitely worth a try. Curious to see how this place evolves over time.

Fantastic experience dining at The Residency. The food was outstanding with a great, diverse range of options to choose from on their menu with a good selection for a variety of dietary requirements. The team is here is amazing; really friendly and attentive staff. I liked the atmosphere here and the general layout/interior of the restaurant is really beautifully done. Great experience and looking forward to coming back here soon!

I can’t say enough about the customer service, hospitality and of course the delicious food at this lovely new restaurant!!!! We walked into The Residency at 12 minutes to closing time.  The owner welcomed us warmly and graciously even though it was very late.  He helped us get our drinks and chatted with us for awhile. The talented bartenders poured us a delicious specially crafted drink and our lovely waitress Sasha answered all of our silly questions with genuine sweetness and grace And the FOOD!! Oh my!  If you’re reading this, Please order the PRAWNS!! And save room for the triple chocolate surprise for dessert!  They are both to die for !!  If you’re going to be in London, this place is worth a visit!!

Visited this place few weeks back to try this place out for their French Toast however they ran out by the time I went. So just decided to try out few other dishes that caught my eye.

Chicken Katsu Sando which when it arrived looked like dry and over cooked chicken, turned out to be juicy and tender chicken. It was a delicious Sando. For a thick thick thick thigh piece, it was defo cooked to perfection. Enjoy this 🤤

The half scrambled eggs and half mushroom toast was decent. The eggs needed seasoning but if mixed with the mushrooms, it was defo a good tasty breakfast dish

The blueberry pancakes wasn’t to my liking. The pancake itself was nicely cooked and wasn’t the problem. I can’t do fruity with pancakes and French toast. I would’ve enjoyed it with probably a sweet chocolate or just maple syrup. This is probably for those who like fruity dessert lol

All in all defo a spot I have to go back as I wanted their french toast more than anything. I would defo order the chicken Sando

The service here is great, decor is lovely, really nice vibes for a weekend brunch. Coffee is delicious too. The brunch was good, avocado toast was a generous portion and very tasty. The bread was slightly too crispy for my liking but overall really tasty. French toast was great too, not sure pineapple is my favourite topping but the toast itself was very well made. Definitely a good spot for brunch I would recommend.

I must say I really enjoyed the food. Must try the egg and mushroom on toast bread. Visually it looks good, and the mushroom source match the egg and bread perfectly. French toast and the pancake also are very delicious. On top of these, staffs are friendly. Overall, this is perfect restaurant for a weekend brunch 😊

We've been here for breakfast and ordered some different dishes - resumee: we can recommend everything! Very nice staff, always looking after you and serve you quickly! The food was excellent, coffee really good (fruity taste), freshly pressed orange juice. Price/value: good!

The French toast was amazing and unlike any other French toast I have ever had. It was crispy yet soft and incredibly rich. Would return just for that dish.

The scrambled egg was also good as was the bacon as a side which came in a large portion staff were kind and the vibe was modern
Sleek. Would definitely return for brunch/coffee.

Great breakfast/brunch spot. They have some really cool ingredient combinations (e.g the pancakes!). Coffee is also very good - I love kiss the hippo beans. I especially liked the ceramic cups they serve the coffee in.

Service was great, although we were given the bill and asked to leave right after we finished eating.

Cheatmeals Notting Hill Gate

I loved it! I ordered through UberEats and everything was perfect. I ordered British beef with bagel bun and spicy mexican beef with normal burger bun. The bagel bun was something unique and i actually loved it. However for flavour wise, i chose the spicy mexican beef because it has more flavour and it tasted amazing. The price is just the same as other burger place which I think is expensive, however  with the flavour like this I would get them again and i love the packaging as well!

Ordered just before closing two cheesy chips and sent two chips with no cheese! How does this happen? Guess since closing they think they can get away with it. Looks like you would take better care of your customers than this, I will not try again lesson learned

I’ve become a regular at this place, the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The food is probably the most satisfying in London, between a cheeseburger, fries, milkshake and wings. Not the fastest but I can see them cooking it fresh so it’s definitely worth the wait.

Filthy place!

I’ve ordered a hot dog. Been waiting for 15 min. How long you need to warm up a sausage and a baguette? Than I looked inside to find out what’s going on.

One of the staff was eating cheeps from the tray! And he had  very filthy t-short - really FILTHY. Another one was wiping sweat off from his forehead by his palm, and than touched the cheese!

If you call it halal- I just can imagine what is not halal! I left the place straightaway!

It is a take out shop. So less place to sit but it is beside an amazing park.
Love the food it is so crispy and delicious. I usually order every week my kids love the popcorn and I am pretty much in love with hot wings, always order party bucket every week and my family loves the hot fries with supercharge sauce taking the food and sitting in the park and eating under the sky is joyful. I am fan of hot a spicy food hence love the supercharger twister wrap with cheese deal it is the cheapest, hot and best wrap I had tasted till now.
The staff whenever I order always serve me with a smile especially Venesa she is a sweetheart. The KFC staff are like fried chicken superheroes serve fast with a smile. So today when they asked me to write about there service I decided to pour my heart out as it takes very miniature details to pour heart to your job which the people of KFC does. I wish all the team of KFC an amazing job and treating people with a smile. Keep up the spirit.

Went there to buy wing shocker for a chicken shop and it was only 22h one hour before closing and Vanessa, the lady that served us first took almost 15min to serve us and when we ordered she very rudely said that she did not have any wings when the deliveroo app from the same store allowed me to order the wings, it’s funny because the I work in retail and I understand the struggle but I also know when they refuse the service because they closed a section which was this case… i mean I understand you want to go home but I want to eat and I am paying for it… such a disappointment, never again

Absolutely appalling staff and service at this restaurant. I know it’s a busy location so I thought why not order ahead and check in when arrive so hopefully not wait long…..right? Noooo lolz get ready to sit( which you won’t be able to as it’s so small limited spaces, you barely find the space to stand). So wait literally 45 minutes for my food, not happy as the the group & kids had been waiting in the park for me. (Easier to eat at Hyde park with the benches and tables lots of space to move more freely.Not easily accessible for disabled customers . I’m truly disappointed in the customer service received here when telling staff about this, they just giggled not acceptable. Please avoid or be warned…

Guys ..if your chips are dry and been there for quite a while.. simply don't sell them..ppl ain't paying money for trushy fries!

In our KFC Halal restaurants we do not handle any pork ingredients, and all the food and drink items served in these restaurants are approved by the Halal Food Authority. This ensures the very best Halal food standards but does mean that certain menu items and limited time offers may not be available.

Another key consideration for us was that we were able to ensure that the halal certified chicken would also meet the rigorous animal welfare standards we employ in the UK, and we consulted leading animal welfare groups about this.

There is no compromise to our welfare standards. We continue to insist that our poultry is stunned before slaughter, using a technique called 'stun-to-stun'. We only buy high quality, Grade A, farm-assured chicken from trustworthy suppliers, who are contractually required to meet or exceed all relevant UK and EU legislation and this will not change.

Wonderful wonderful wonderful. Amazing food. The chicken vegetable soup was too die for. I was freezing cold on arrival and needed that soup..All I can say is "good soup". Great value for money. Turkish tea was perfectly refreshing. The Lamb fillet bowl was tasty, filling and great value. Finished with a sutlac ( rice pudding) and another Turkish tea.. Really was what I wanted a needed tonight. You know those times when you don't know what you want to eat, your cold confused and hungry, well that was me. Went in here and was all that I wanted. Very surprised. But the soup...I think I will be back just for that

Fantastic!! This is extremely high quality Turkish food done right. Reminded us (and probably beat) some of the best food we had on a recent trip to Istanbul

We had the Iskander kebab which was a large enough serving for two. Will be a regular here can’t wait to try all the grills and that Tomahawk on the menu!

I've recently stumbled upon this gem in west London and have been twice already. High quality Turkish food with various options, for vegetarians as well. I had the best Iskander kebab there, so no I'm not vegetarian. Each time I went the food looked so amazing I devoured the dish before even taking pictures of it. But the dessert made it into my album. Recommend it.

Discovered this gem by chance and so glad I did. The food was the tastiest Turkish food I ever had. I highly recommend the full Turkish breakfast which is served with bottomless tea. The staff are so welcoming and very friendly. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant is stunning. Already planning my next visit 😌

I came here with the family about 2 weeks ago and I must say the food here was amazing. And the service was outstanding. I have no complaints everything was positive from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. The only thing I would have liked is if you had the option to pay a little more for dessert but have as much as you want.

Visited here for dinner on two occasions and both times the quality of food has been great.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming, Pablo who came around with the meat was super helpful and explained what he was offering each time very professionally.
Great place for casual dining or something a little bit more special. Will definitely be coming back. Thanks

My first time at Preto in Queensway. Fabulous experience! If you’re going by car, you can park in front of the restaurant- free after 6.30pm. Food was great - Halal and plenty to eat. Make sure to try the Desserts! Staff were amazingly friendly especially the Manager who really made us feel right at home. Great for Birthdays too 🎉 🎉🎉

Amazing place.

Mostly halal menue, staff are so kind and accommodating, very generous feels. Meats and sides were great. Fried banana was delicious and chicken thighs were so succulent with crispy skin. Was quite busy so you may have to call waiting staff a few times to get their attention.

Came here one evening in March with a big group of friends. We were bombarded with a great meat selection none of us were complaining about. The drinks were amazing and we were well looked after by Renata and Lucas, those two were amazing.

We serve Halal options. Just ask for Halal when booking.

A very nice place, with great food and people! I booked a table for my birthday, which turned out to be on Wednesday when the place is closed. I didn't know what to do and didn't want to go anywhere else as everyone was very excited about trying uzbek food. The owner opened it for us anyway and cooked all the food within 40 minutes and saved the day! Thanks for the great service and amazing authentic uzbek food!

I ordered take away long time ago during lockdown and the noodles were made from frozen. Veg looked old and defrosted. Dumplings were small and not worthy for the price I paid. Its a shame as Uzbek food is always hand made and fresh and never precooked to be frozen and defrosted again before the order.

More of a takeaway than a proper restaurant, there are some tables nevertheless.
Pleasant deco, the people are very nice and helpful.
The food, the pelmeni was ok but the plov was really good, very well cooked and tasty. Just a fraction greasy visually perhaps but it didn't detract from the overall taste.
They don't serve alcohol, but you can buy some on the shop across the road as we did and consume it on the premises.

It is a little, really cute and cosy coffee shop. It gives you a nice feeling of calmness and relaxation. The coffee was good and their salmon bagel was delicious. It was busy but the guys working there really made me feel looked after. I will definitely go back

Eat Tokyo (Notting Hill Gate)

Great sushi at this reliably delicious branch. Sushi is fresh and the chef cuts no corners. Would've given it a five if the eel was tastier!

I get takeout at Eat Tokyo once a week. The food is good but they don't make any effort to recycle. Every time I call, I tell them not to include napkins or chopsticks. Last Sunday, they gave me 20 napkins and extra chopsticks which I returned and they threw in the garbage. They serve food in black containers which can't be recycled. I am not getting takeout there anymore. I can't support a restaurant that does not care about the planet.

Excellent service and the food is great as well. Sushi is very fresh and good attention to detail. Definitely one of the top places for sushi in London .

The food was good. The service was really bad, rushing us from the beging. The menu has 15 pages and in 3 minutes they came 5 times to ask if we had decided. When we asked for the dessert menu they just took it from the customer of the table next to us saying they had enough menus for the people was there. All the waiters where really rude. When we asked the service charge to be remove, the manager or person in charge came without any face covering and talking really near from our faces, and said that if we don't pay the service charge don't come back, in the meantime a waitress was there just staring at us with a bad face. The food is good but the service created a really bad experience, since when you go to have dinner to a restaurant you expect also to have time to have a conversation with the people you go with, in other case i would just order it for take away.

Always love the food from Eat Tokyo. Staff are very friendly and happy and quick service. Great quality and value for Japanese food.

Walk into a underground Lebanese cave in Paddington at @thevillagepaddington. Loads of Lebanese classics available, here's what was ordered. 
Cheese rolls, Kibbeh, Halloumi, Manakish with cheese/lamb mince/thyme, Vine leaves,  Omelette with meat, Lebanese
Kunefe, Almond cake and Tabbouleh. Everything is really reasonably priced. Some things are hit and miss but a nice place to go if you are in the area. The decor downstairs is worth  visiting on it's own. #invited

Really enjoyed the fresh food here. Plenty of options for vegetarians, freshly made and at a very reasonable price. 
We've already recommended this restaurant to others who live locally and will definitely visit again.

I visit the Village whenever I am in London for the great variety of food for breakfast, lunch and desserts they serve, and the unique setting and ambience they offer.

Very polite and helpful staff. My friends and I are vegetarians and they were super helpful on selecting dishes. Able to sit outside in the nice weather. But the interior of the restaurant was very nice. Worth a visit 😊

Impressive independently run Lebanese Restaurant serving authentic dishes cooked daily. I had their dish of the day (Vermicelli rice and chicken) and a Manakish.  Their coffee is pretty good too! Will definitely come again.

It used to be my one of my favourite places. Unfortunately every year it gets down. Down by quality, taste, size portions and even the  atmosphere.  The service was good though, but unfortunately it is not enough to keep returning
So Sadly, I  don't think I will go there again 😔

Good service, the owner changed months ago but it turns out even better than before, young chefs who could flip the wok more than the previous older chef, that makes a big difference with better wok-chi. Is this purely Malaysian? If you exclude the Chinese wok culture, then it's the place me an HKer’s only choice.

Do not trust the fact that there are not always many people, the others do not know what they are missing! I tested a Calzone which was excellent, and the pizza dough was delicious. In addition, the staff is really nice and lovely, I really recommend this restaurant!

The humus with meat and pine nuts, and falafel were particularly amazing, and I liked the grilled lamb as well:) everything was tasty, really. Staff wore PPE so it felt safe. Thank you!

Fantastic food and even better service. The restaurant is warm and welcoming, and the food is fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Some of the best falafel I've ever had! There are lots of vegan and vegetarian options.  Can't wait to go back!

Visited here a couple of days ago. A wonderfully welcoming restaurant, with care and attention given to the current regulations. The food was delicious. Excellent selection of dishes, especially as I'm a vegetarian and what generous portions. The falafels are phenomenal, in fact i had a portion to take away!! The staff were all very friendly and i came away stuffed and very satisfied. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be visiting again. Thank you!

An absolute gem in the Westbourne Grove - Notting Hill area. We were so happy they decide to reopen after the lockdown because Al Waha is simply the best Lebanese restaurant in West London in terms of food refinement, service, generosity, warm welcome and pricing. The choice of Lebanese wines is also excellent. You will never forget the experience if you like to share delicate dishes with friends and family. Everyone will find his best choice in a vast menu and vegetarians are not forgotten. We will for sure come back as soon as we can.

So good after all this confinement and difficult time to return to this delicious restaurant. Such a feast, service sweet and caring, and food so fresh and tasty. I loved the variety of starters, when they arrive, your table looks like 'Babette's festin' ( famous film). Then we had the grilled boneless baby chicken, so tender and well spiced...and of course we couldn't resit  some baklawas as cherries on a cake :)

An intriguing Moroccan restaurant that beckons you from the pavement with its large tent opening. Bordering on the cliched, the restaurant nonetheless has a pleasant interior and aims for authenticity. A wide variety of standard Moroccan dishes are available, along with shisha pipes. 

Little Persia Restaurant

One of the most tasty Persian resturants in London and i must recommend to visit this place. Customer service is really good and on point. Food quality is super too and my most loved item on menu is lamb shank the meat is absolutely tender and and full of taste you must try this dish.

Really good food and a lot to options choose from. I had a nice lamb dish with two different style of lamb with rice plus the K1 Persian beer. The best thing is: they open past midnight which is a blessing for a visitor like me who come back late at night. Seems like other customers are having good time here as well!

In my opinion the place is extremely hot inside. Nevertheless, the Kebab was so soft and juicy, I recommend it a lot. However, the rice was too simple. 

The staff was kind. 

My recommendation is to put air conditioner inside.

Nice place. Friendly service. Good food. Large portions, the chicken was a little dry,  my daughter loved the lamb filé.   Really good baklawa. Was a bit cold inside the front door was open and the smell from the waterpipe came in.

Alounak Restaurant Bayswater

Amazing food and atmosphere. Place was so busy but they still seemed to tend to everyone in good time. And the fresh made bread in front of our eyes was a delicious bonus!

One of my favourite little restaurant. Authentic Persian food with a lovely atmosphere. You have to be patient and wait to get a table as they are very busy especially on Saturday and sometime on Friday but the food is definitely worth it. Their menu is very selective but they got a very good collection of everything.
Love their tea. 
Staff is very efficient and caring.Would love to visit them as soon as practicable. Highly recommended if you love Persian food.

The standard has seriously dropped dramatically. I've been eating at this place for many years now & my favourite dish is the 2 skewers of minced lamb. I used to be recommending this restaurant to literally all my family & friends. Now I would definitely not recommend it, I ordered take away and ate in my car. The meal has not only increased in price with salad no longer included with the meal, but the minced lamb now lacks the flavour it used to have for many years. I thought mybe this was a one off, so I decided to buy the same meal again - The second time it was even worse. Still lacking the usual flavour, and softness, this time it was over done. Just to let you know I ate both times in the car immediately after ordering the food, so it was still completely fresh. I'm highly disappointed as this was my absolute favourite place to eat, and now it's definitely not. On a positive note, the rice is still very nice, as are the grilled tomatoes. Due to the lack of flavour that the mince previously had, I had to use the spicy sauce that came with the meal. And this I would never dream of doing with a good quality Persian meal of minced lamb kebabs.

I initially intended to go to Sadaf restaurant as I ate there many times but unfortunately it moved location. I then thought about tinsel town but it was closed

So I walked a bit ahead and found Alounuk. This was my first time seeing it and trying it. 

Service: service was good. Attended to straight away and asked where I wanted to sit by Iranian waitress. Not long after ordered.  

Was offered a baby seat and extra bowl for the baby by the oriental looking waitress who was quite polite & helpful. Food didn’t take long too come either. 

Food: ordered 2 portions  of Kobideh & rice, chicken soup starter for the baby, as well as some fresh bread. Bread was the usual nice, fresh Iranian bread.

As for the Kobideh mince lamb kebab, I must say I was quite disappointed. It came with two skewers which were not too big but normal size. The taste was quite bland and it definitely lacked flavour. I read on previous reviews that it used to be way better. 

If management are reading this, I’d strongly recommend changing the koonedeh receipe and making it more moist in texture.  

Regarding the soup, it was ok. 

I have tasted better koobeideh from Persian palace in Ealing and Kish restaurant in Maida Vale. 

Not sure about their other dishes but hopefully they’ll improve koobideh 

The atmosphere was quite nice with COVID dividers and a nice Persian design with the restaurant

Used to be a nice place but has gone downhill.  We were served dry hard awful tasting minced lamb skewers with also undercooked hard rice.  Had one previous occasion where jad an insect in our dry salad and were told they dont clean the salad

Now that's what you call a tower burger. Epic chicken burger from @meatgram. Hard to get a good picture, the place is so dark. Had to use a light. 
I think it's the best place to go for a chicken burger. You can taste the different earthy herbs and spices in this crispy chicken burger.

Only the chicken is confirmed as halal.

Food: N ordered the Tower Burger and I ordered the Dirty Cheeseburger. The chef was very generous with the chicken in both burgers 😍. They weren’t dry at all and the sauces in the burger complimented the chicken excellently. The Mac’n’Cheese Sticks were deep-fried sticks of goodness 👅 and the fries were as good as (if not better) than Mcdonalds! We can’t wait to come back for more!
Service: the staff made sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying our food 👍🏽

MEATliquor Queensway

Absolutely Awful Experience.

The lights were basically off, with a few extremely dim red lights. Managed to order on the app, this being the only way because the menus weren't visible in such bad lighting; The same app which automatically adds a mandatory service charge which is borderline criminal since the service recieved was short, rude and not at all attentive. The Waiting staff never checked on us at all during our meal and when tried to speak to them regarding the awful experience they just blanked us completely and the food was delivered in such a manner that it was basically thrown at us. The food was even worse than the service. The toppings were the only thing keeping the cold fries warm and the 'monkey fingers' (which sounded delicious on the menu) were just lumps of sour, depthless balls of batter with a few of them being completely devoid of chicken and the others having the absolute bare minimum.

One of my favourite wings and burger place finally opens in Notting hill near Queensway underground station. This is also treat for your hungry stomach for flavour and spices. Burgers come with amazing choices of cheese and sauces and my favourite is buffalo chicken burger and buffalo chicken wings as they are the best. Fries are amazing and also mac and cheese is served in a very different style. This is much nice and clean place in london compared to one behind Selfridges. Has a bowling alley too next to it. Fun place

Great burgers. I went for a quadruple patty and four layers of cheese. It’s a little loud inside because there is a bowling alley but overall the service is great and the burgers are delicious. Order the chili fries and get some fried pickles.

What a great place for friends and family gathering or some team building fun.
Food and drinks are average but nice staffs, venue and good vibe.
Easy to get to from Queensway or Bayswater.

Food was really tasty, not bad price and it's dog friendly, random but great! Just personal taste but the music was really loud, fine in the bar area not so great when sat as a group to eat. Also hard to know who works there and therefore who you need to shout at with your loudest voice to get something. The guys serving us were great though, not their fault you can't get their attention over the music!

All of our chicken is Halal. Pork is on the menu and alcohol is served.

C&R Izakaya

Really good quality food and great service. The only setback is that some of the dishes are overpriced (not everything). Ramen, sushi, entrees are great value.

Excellent service and very good food. The takoyaki and agedashi tofu were awesome. Sashimi was really good too. The chef's special miso fish was delicious but we thought it was a bit expensive at almost £30.

We don't know of any Japanese restaurant in London that offers a fully Halal food menu other than C&R Izakaya.

With an extensive menu, including a large sushi section, there's more than enough variety of quality dishes to have you spoilt for choice. After all, how many places offer large, delicious bowls of Halal ramen at very reasonable prices? Not many!

The service at C&R Izakaya was superb as well, with ultra-friendly staff who were attentive and prompt.

The food at C&R Izakaya was delicious. Their Ramen was full of flavour whilst their sushi balanced texture and taste superbly. It’s a very unassuming place from the outside, but one worth checking out.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming too and the prices very reasonable for the quality you get.

The ambience was relaxed, nothing was rushed and the music was chilled and not too loud!

Traditional Persian cuisine with clay oven-baked bread in a bright and intimate restaurant.

Sadaf Restaurant (Garden)

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise for us. We were travelling to London and were arriving late and just wanted something to eat that was close to the hotel, tasty and available (dinner). This was such a great find because we enjoyed the food SO MUCH. The food is done exceptionally well here. The meat is flavourful, moist and well seasoned with spices. There are plenty of options on the menu to order although I find the meat specific items to be the tastiest.

It was quite busy when we arrived late but still got a seat. The wait was fine and the staff were efficient at getting our order placed and executed. Lunch (the next day because we were so impressed that we returned) was less busy but everything was just as good. There is seating outside and inside. The bread is made on site and when you order it so it comes from the "oven" piping hot. The meats have a lovely charcoal flavour that you don't always get. Portions were generous. We did find this restaurant authentic and unpretentious.

I wish we could bring them home so we could go whenever we felt like it.

This restaurant is truly authentic. All workers spoke Farsi also which was lovely for me as I could speak with them. 

Very high quality food for a fair price. Attentive service and great location too! Definitely will come back and bring my mum as she loves Persian food.

Love this place. Food very tasty. They are highly organised. Very clean and tidy restaurant. Will definitely return. One of the best restaurants to chill out and enjoy Kensington.

It's always a pleasure to visit Sadaf, from the friendly manager to all the friend staff, and then there's the food, which is to die for. I would recommend Sadaf totally.

Friendly, good humoured staff, great service, fantastic food, wonderful atmosphere. Perfect place to dine outside on a summer evening. I very rarely write reviews on google but I can't recommend this place enough!!!
