Visiting in the UK, this restaurant was recommended by family members living in the neighborhood. It was an excellent suggestion. The food was delicious, savory and flavorful. The portions were much larger than the menu suggested and we enjoyed it all. Your most difficult choice is narrowing your selections from their extensive menu. You won't regret this meal.

We celebrated my dad's birthday at Gokyuzu, and it was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. As soon as we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting, filled with a vibrant energy that made the occasion even more special. The food was, without a doubt, the highlight of the evening. We ordered a variety of dishes, and everything was cooked to perfection. The lamacun, Adana kebab, and Turkish grilled beef cubes were incredibly tender and flavorful, clearly made with high-quality ingredients and expert grilling. The accompanying rice was light and fluffy, while the grilled peppers added a delightful touch. Each dish truly showcased authentic Turkish cuisine. In addition to the amazing food, the service was exceptional. The staff were attentive and friendly, going out of their way to ensure we had a memorable evening. They even surprised my dad with a little something special for his birthday, which was a thoughtful gesture. Gokyuzu is more than just a restaurant; it's a place where you can gather with loved ones and enjoy delicious food in a vibrant and welcoming setting. We tried Gökyüzü Green Lanes for Turkish breakfast! The food is just great – everything tastes so fresh and there's loads of it. Plus, the service is spot on. Our waitress, Tülay, was super sweet and really looked after us. If you're after a proper, delicious Turkish breakfast in North London, this is definitely the place. Just a side note, music might be kept at low volume or be changed to a softer one.

The three of us came here and ordered one big meal to share… wow 😲 it was HUGE! We could barely finish it 😂 but it was soooo delicious 🤤 Every bite was full of flavor and the portions are super generous. Lovely place and great food — we’ll definitely be back! 👍🍽️

Nice Sunday Morning ! The Turkish breakfast, had so many options, from savory dishes to sweet treats and fruits and was delicious. We also had lamb chops which were seriously amazing, cooked to perfection. ​Beyond the food, the people who work there were so friendly and welcoming. The only slight downside is that I noticed the prices are a bit steeper than they used to be, so it feels a little overpriced now.
