Food: Since there was four of us, we ordered the (you guessed it!) Full Platter. The platter consists of Lamb Shish, Chicken Shish, Adana Kebab, Lamb Ribs and Chicken Wings, with a side of Rice and Bulger. Can’t really complain, the meats are always cooked well and the bulger is amazing. The rice also tastes really good when you have it with the meat.
Service: The food is always brought out quickly so there’s never a wait!

Visited Gokyuzu a while back for a well needed munch and this place did NOT disappoint 😮‍💨👏🏼 The first time I had visited was a few years back, with a large group of about 20+, this dinner was much more intimate and we ate until we couldn’t walk 🥹

INSANE Turkish food, our favourite (and I still dream about this dish) was the Sarma Kuzu Beyti; Seasoned mince Lamb grilled over charcoal, wrapped in lavash bread and mozzarella, topped with tomato sauce and butter - INSAAAAAAAAANE. 🤤👏🏼 Complimentary salad, Tzatziki and fresh bread is also served whilst you browse the menu 🇹🇷🫶🏽

Didn’t rate the Chicken Shawarma- A little on the dry side. Künefe here is definitely up there with my favourite spots in London, the perfect way to finish up our meal with some Turkish tea ☕️

Gökyüzü Green Lanes

Met with my friends for an afternoon of catching up. Atmosphere and decor is very nice in this venue. Warm welcome and service.

The food is typical for the area so nothing surprising. However I felt the food that was ordered did not meet my expectations in the end. It was to serve 5 people. There was a lot of meat but in my opinion not enough rice. Usually there is so much food you can take some away.

A proper Turkish restaurant. It was such a nice experience. Nice food full of flavour and cooked properly, nice service and friendly. Really big portions. We tried a lot of dishes and apart from one dish we liked all the rest.

Visiting in the UK, this restaurant was recommended by family members living in the neighborhood. It was an excellent suggestion. The food was delicious, savory and flavorful. The portions were much larger than the menu suggested and we enjoyed it all. Your most difficult choice is narrowing your selections from their extensive menu. You won't regret this meal.

Chicken and lamb is Halal. Ramadan observed.
