Came here for afternoon tea. Great outdoor seating on a pleasant day. Price for the afternoon tea is reasonable. However the experience itself was underwhelming. I think it needs more of a Moroccan influence, especially the savouries. The service was atrocious lacking attention to detail. No spoons with the dessert, no one refilling the water and we had to ask for our final course which took about 20 min after waiting for 15 min assuming they were bringing it out automatically. This place could be amazing but they have quite a bit of work to do. Was so looking forward to it but alas, left disappointed. PS. While writing this, our scones and jam finally came....without knives to spread the cream or the jam with.

Great place and lovely interior design. Starters were okay but could have been better cooked especially the chicken liver. The main dishes were great and tasty but the price was a bit expensive especially that you don’t have a very wide verity of options in the main dish menu. I think one visit to this place would be great but not to go there again unless a new menu and lower prices have been placed. The same lamb shank dish can cost almost half the price they are charging in another restaurant and nicely cooked as well.

Mo Cafe serves authentic Moroccan food in a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. It's so perfect for an afternoon or early evening get together. The portions are tapas-like and the mint tea is actually served the Moroccan way! The music is always good. Comfortable seating and good service.

I visited the sister cafe beside the restaurant for a Moroccan-inspired afternoon tea at £25 per person. My only prior afternoon tea experiences were of the classic variety - this was easily the best afternoon tea dining experience I've had, with slightly disappointing service. The spicings and flavourings of the Levant were laced throughout every bite. I strongly advise you stick with the house mint tea rather than opting for a more traditional choice - sweetened, fresh and poured theatrically for your pleasure. The spiced jam and buttery scones - usually the least cared for item of the afternoon tea - was probably the most enjoyable part of a delicious selection. The neat chicken wraps, salmon on crisp bread, quenelles of roast pepper medley, and cheese filo samosas provide your exciting savoury options. The Arabic sweets - date-filled, crumbly - are a perfect match with the mint tea before moving onto more classic French petit fours. Finally, the meal is finished with a pot of chocolate mousse that packs quite a punch - that would be the chilli heat. Unfortunately, we often had to request our small, traditional tea cups to be refilled (we didn't receive a pot) and, accordingly, maybe only managed one pot's worth between us for the whole meal. Also, despite it being near empty and quiet, we found our servers rushed off their feet and not as available as might have been expected. Otherwise, this was the most exciting and enjoyable afternoon tea I've had yet.
