A contemporary british-indian fusion restaurant in the heart of Canary Wharf, Chai Ki is always an option for a quick meal and catch up with both friends and family 👌🏽. The food is always tasty and the atmosphere, friendly. This time we decided on Burnt Chilli Chicken and Chicken Tikka Naan, as well as the yummy Masala Fries. Wasn’t disappointed!

@chaikilondon is a really popular modern Indian restaurant based in the Canary Wharf shopping centre. After a long day of navigating through the shopping centre we finally made it 😅 they have a small menu with a few popular dishes. ⁣

- Burnt Chilli Chicken Salad ⁣
- Koliwada Calamari ⁣
- Gurkhali Chicken Wings ⁣
- Prawn Moilee ⁣
- Old Delhi Chicken Biryani ⁣
- Lamb Sukha Masala ⁣

The starters stood out to me the most, despite being a somewhat warm salad the chilli chicken salad worked really well. The chicken was super flavoursome. The calamari was nice and soft too. The biryani and lamb Sukha masala were nice but tasted like dishes we make at home. The flavours were still good so you would probably appreciate it more if you’re not from the south Asian community.⁣

The lamb curry came with samosas which was a nice touch. The prawn moilee was a very mild creamy coconut based curry. I liked it on its own and It would’ve paired perfectly with some white rice so the curry could shine. It didn’t work well with the biryani but that’s definitely on me. ⁣

Overall it’s a nice spot for dinner with a lovely ambience and good service. The starters were the highlight in terms of food. ⁣

Chai Ki

Overall a pleasant evening.  Atmosphere was good and trendy but quite loud.   Service was good but on the slower side.  Food was good, and would come again and try additional dishes.  Enjoyed the butter chicken, prawns and appetizers.  Good stop in Canary Wharf.

Chai Ki is a fantastic spot for delicious Indian food. The dishes are flavorful, with generous portion sizes that leave you satisfied. The pricing is reasonable for the area, and the service is both welcoming and efficient. Definitely worth a visit!

Great restaurant to say the least. A very good location, 2 minute walk from the Elizabeth line and around 5 minute walk to the jubilee line and the DLR. Staff are very attentive and polite. Me and my wife have been there more than a couple of times and have always enjoyed our time there either as a family, group of friends or just the 2 of us. Definitely recommend to try that restaurant our. I’ve never been a fan of Indian food, but since my wife started working at the semi Indian company, she has been converted into an Indian cuisine, which she now claims is her favourite, and I have been converted as well, it’s now in my top 5 for sure 😃

Went to this trendy restaurant  to celebrate my birthday, the food, the service, atmosphere everything was brilliant! We got a table at the back which i was very happy about, it got quite busy but it was a Friday night so expected. Didn’t have to wait around much as the food arrived promptly. We ordered abit of everything, it was delicious the flavours were delicious. I loved their mocktail selection too, so much to choose from, and their cheesecake and vanilla ice cream to die for! So creamy and smooth I absolutely devoured it.

We went for my birthday, my family and my fiancé's family joined us. It was a lovely evening. Lovely atmosphere and the food was really nice. The plates are small so bare in mind when ordering for a group you need to order about 2 or 3 of each dish in order to actually get a decent amount to taste. So essentially it does add up in that sense. Unless you going as a couple then the amount of food required would be less and there are larger meals available just maybe not ones that would work for sharing between 10 people! Overall I would recommend this place. I personally wasn't that keen on their desserts so definitely go somewhere else for dessert. But their cocktails are nice and their food is spot on. I have been wanting to come to this place for awhile so I was happy to finally taste their good food! I think everyone agreed the prawn moilee was the best curry out of everything we tasted!
