Pleasantly surprised by this little location in Soho! I've never seen a Banana Tree location before but chose to give it a go on a whim with a partner with no booking. Some other reviews say the place is a little slow on service, I found it fine but the place wasn't busy when I came. I imagine when it's busy, they are arguably understaffed. The food, on the other hand, is amazing. It tastes great and is presented well and fast and the £10.50 meal deal is a good deal for the quality of food you get and a fair portion with a drink. Wish we had one of these in my home city Newcastle 🙏

The food at Banana Tree was quite good. I’d give it a solid 4/5 for taste and quality. However, the dining experience was let down by the extremely slow and inattentive service. We had to wait over 10 minutes just to get tissues, and every time we tried to get the staff’s attention to order something, they would see us but ignore and kept doing their chores, which wasted a lot of time and really affected the overall experience. What was more disappointing was that despite the lacklustre service, the staff still expected a generous tip, which didn’t feel justified given how we were treated. I hope the management works on training the staff to be more attentive and responsive, because the food is genuinely good and the place has potential.

We had a fantastic experience at Banana Tree! We ordered the Pad Thai and Katsu Curry - both dishes were absolutely delicious, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of tang and spice, while the Katsu Curry was rich, comforting, and generously portioned. A special shoutout to Paula, who was absolutely lovely throughout our visit. Her warm, attentive service really made our meal even more enjoyable. It’s always a pleasure to be looked after by someone so friendly and professional. Highly recommend Banana Tree if you’re looking for tasty food and great service. We’ll definitely be back!

Stepped into the vibrant chaos of this Soho Pan-Asian spot and was immediately struck by the cool, industrial-chic vibe. The place was buzzing, the bar looked inviting, and the promise of happy hour definitely added to the allure. While the atmosphere was electric, the food itself was really good. Service was friendly but understandably stretched given how busy it was. Overall, a fun spot for a lively night out and some interesting bites.

The moment I walked in here I already felt hungry. The nicest place I've ever been to in London. Perfect For date. Perfect for families. The food is beyond this world. Not to mention the mocktails.... Absolutely Astonishing!. My waitress was Alex and she is polite, professional and made us feel very very welcoming. Giver her a raise! If you have not been to this place and you're in London, you're doing something wrong. Enjoy!
