The quality of banana tree has gone down a bit from previous years. I did really like the laksa ramen, it was quite tasty although quite spicy. My friend didnt really like the katsu burger as said the bread was dry. The mango chicken was very sweet but I think she liked it. The coke was a bit flat. We ordered prawn crackers and never got them. However service was quite nice and still overall food was okay.

There's a lovely range of dishes with Southeast Asian flavours, including Curries, Stir Fries and Noodles. I didn't have high expectations, but the Banana Tree Curry with Tofu was rich and creamy and it was really comforting. The Sweetcorn Fritters were crispy and crunchy and packed with flavours, a good little side. The staff were lovely and the interior was aesthetically pleasing, perfect for a group catch up with friends.

I order the Sweet Mango and Lime Chicken. The food was very tasty and fresh. The chicken was soft and well cooked, and the mango and lime sauce had a perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors. The aroma was amazing and made the dish even more enjoyable. The portion size was good and filling, and the food arrived warm and well packed. I really liked how flavorful the dish was without being too spicy. Overall, it was a great meal, and I would definitely order from Banana Tree again. I recommend this dish to anyone who enjoys sweet and tangy flavors. If you want, I can also make it shorter, more casual, or more professional 😊 Best service from Dharshini :) 10/10

This was the first time I visited and it was really great. Alex was amazing and made sure to check everything we had was gluten free as I have coeliac disease. She was really kind and patient and we will definitely come back to try more dishes!

Pleasantly surprised by this little location in Soho! I've never seen a Banana Tree location before but chose to give it a go on a whim with a partner with no booking. Some other reviews say the place is a little slow on service, I found it fine but the place wasn't busy when I came. I imagine when it's busy, they are arguably understaffed. The food, on the other hand, is amazing. It tastes great and is presented well and fast and the £10.50 meal deal is a good deal for the quality and portfoon of food you get with a drink. Wish we had one of these in my home city Newcastle 🙏
