Fabulous food at this Yemenese gem. Started off with their courtesy flavoursome meaty soup to warm up the palate. Had the mixed grill platter, which included an array of delicacies including lamb chops, chicken shish, lamb kobeedah, chicken minced kebab and chicken wings. Meat was succulent, tenderised, perfectly spiced with a lovely charcoal flavour. The light flaky fresh Yemenese bread and vibrant mezze plate were the perfect accompaniment. All washed down with a zesty refreshing kiwi and lemon juice. Ate al fresco basking in the sun in their outdoor seating area on the buzzing Wilmslow rd. Incredible value and fantastic service from our caring server Ali who looked after us really well and diligently fulfilled all our requests. Just when. I thought it couldn’t get any better, finished off with a complimentary revitalising cup of their sweet milky Yemenese tea.

I had a very good experience. The portion size was generous and fair for the price. I would definitely recommend this place. The only downside was the atmosphere — it was a bit cold and windy inside.

The foodies of _foodhuntmanchester explored Yemeni cuisine. In the busy lanes of Curry mile on the Wilmslow Road, we found a gem called as Alyemen Alsaeed. Now when one speaks about Middle Eastern cuisine, we think that it could be a meat dominating cuisine but to our surprise we found a lot of vegetarian options as well on their menu. The food was of excellent quality and the service very homely. The portion sizes were huge and reasonably priced. Now let’s see what all dishes we tried there - Fish Sanoonah - a very tasty Salmon fish curry made with a base of onion tomatoes went well with parathas. Mezze platter - fresh salads with some Tabouleh and houmous. Moudramas - a Yemeni dish made with tender fava beans. Fasoolia - an Iraqi white bean stew. Spicy homous , Salad and Yemeni bread which was huge, flaky, absolutely delicious. Quite close to paratha. Mandi Platter - Mandi is a flavourful rice cooked with a single of variety of meats. In this platter, we got four different types of rice and five different types of kebab. They even serve unlimited free lamb soup which is kept in a soup dispenser and one can take as many servings as they want. They do not accept advance reservations. It’s a walk-in concept. I must try place if you like something simple yet flavourful. I’ve gotta admit, I was a bit skeptical when someone recommended Alyemeni Alsaeed — but trust me, there’s no need to hesitate because the food is seriously delicious. Their Fahsa is absolutely on point and tastes properly authentic. The portions are generous, and the other Yemeni dishes we tried were just as well made. Even the kebabs were tasty, even though they’re not traditionally part of Yemeni cuisine. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving some solid Yemeni food in Manchester!
