This was our second time in London, and we went straight to this restaurant again. We liked almost everything about it, but this time the sauce tasted unusually fishy. The cocktails were nice. Personally, I think the steak is a much better choice than the burger. Overall, the food was good, but not particularly special. I’m not sure if we would return on a future visit, as I asked about the fishy taste but didn’t receive a clear explanation. That said, the waiting experience does add an extra touch to the overall dining experience.

This steak place was actually really good. Even though we waited almost 1 hour to get in, it was decent for the price. The restaurant is very cramped I feel like everyone is basically sitting on top of each other. I guess it’s to help them with the overflow of customers but I don’t think it works. It’s wayyyy too cramped. The steak was really nice and not too chewy. I ordered my steak really well done, but it still came in the pink side. It could have been left on the fire for longer but it was alright. The sauce had way more flavour than I thought it would. I read some other reviews talking about how the sauce is very buttery. I don’t know if they’ve changed the sauce but it definitely wasn’t buttery just full of flavour, however it was a bit salty. The fries were really good, like really good better than normal fries, we really enjoyed them. I did not enjoy the salad as it was doused in vinegar and lemon. It was so overpowering and did not taste good at all. Next time I come I’ll make sure to tell them not to put anything in the salad. The customer service was amazing, the waiters came up to the table regularly to ask if everything was alright. They were very helpful and patient while we decided what we wanted and asked different questions. The waiters communicate very well so even though different waiters come to your table it feels like they were the one that looked after you all night. We ordered the desserts that they offer, the chocolate molten dessert and the caramel and vanilla French toast. I personally didn’t enjoy the molten dessert as it was made with dark chocolate and I cannot stand the taste of it. But everyone else enjoyed it. We all collectively did not enjoy the caramel and vanilla French toast as it tasted like soggy bread. It was actually disgusting. I definitely recommend coming here though, I know I’ll be back soon. Oh also the meal was very filling, you definitely won’t leave the restaurant still hungry. Next time I come I’ll just not get any dessert but the steak and chips were too good.

Despite the line outside, it moved surprisingly fast, and before we knew it, we were seated and ready to indulge. Let me tell you, the steak and chips are AMAZING! The steak was cooked to perfection, and that signature Swiss Butter sauce is just divine. Every bite was a burst of flavor, and the chips were the perfect complement. It's clear why this place is so popular – the food is simply outstanding. The whole experience was fantastic, and we can't wait to come back again. If you're looking for a memorable meal that lives up to its reputation, Swiss Butter is a must-try. Highly recommended!
