One of the best Indian experiences that I have experienced! Just walking in and you smell the flavors you would be tasting. All the dishes had the flavors you would look for and they were not overpowering that it drowned out the taste of the main ingredient of the dish. Service was impeccable and catered to our every need. Highly recommended for groups so they can order more dishes to share.

This was the day when I wish I have a bigger appetite than normal - every dish was worth having. Twice. Samosa Tart was such a unique take on an Indian classic; the taste was authentic with a play on texture - a lot of thought was put into the ingredients and how they complement each other. As with the Old Delhi butter chicken, the sauce had everything tangy yet lightly sweet, spicy yet so smooth. I’ll admit I filled some of the sauce onto my plate and had it just by itself. Don’t judge, you’ll do the same if you try it! Grateful for our host Monica who patiently walked us through the menu and how they continually evolve it through listening to what the customers like. Nice bit of history and context that made the night extra special.

Excellent service! Thanks Mamita for the service and the recommendations. I like the Boondi Raita and Goan Fish Curry. Boondi Raita (yogurt) as a side dish worked really well among the spicy dishes to refresh taste buds. The Seabass was fresh and of a great texture! Will try Tandoori next time! We had: Samosa Tart Butter Chicken Fish Curry Boondi Raita Naan Pistachio Kulfi as dessert

The food was excellent and delicious—the samosa tart was a visual delight! Some service aspects could improve, though. We were with kids and requested a soft seat with more space, however this cannot be arranged, as it felt a bit cramped and wasn't kid-friendly. For the birthday cake, staff mentioned it might take a while if ordered through them from the downstairs cake shop. So we headed down, bought it ourselves for efficiency, and handed it to the manager to add the birthday message when serving. Unfortunately, they missed it, killing the surprise. They had to take it back to the kitchen to add on the message, and serve again. It would be much better if the celebration cake serve correctly in the first time.

This was our first experience at an Indian Michelin star restaurant, having experienced it across Europe, we were quite clear on what to expect and had a brief browsing of the menu before we booked this place a couple months in advance. The biggest letdown yesterday was the service and attention and care we received at this restaurant. To start with, the head chef came up to introduce himself and his restaurant to pretty much every table except ours which had an air of the favoritism, we also noticed the service on those tables were a lot more attentive, which unfortunately was not at all the case with ours and started off the experience with a sour taste. The pacing of the dishes were a bit too rushed when we had taken a multiple course dining menu. The staff rushed through to complete our order and midway our server informed us that she had to leave and her colleague would take over our table (no worries we figured it happens) the new server who took over was relatively overworked rushing and tending to more tables than before. We were left waiting with a table full of left overs for a quite a long time while the restaurant staff prioritized clearing up tables of other guest who had already left. For a fine dine restaurant with a dress code the music was absolutely disastrous, a mix of Indian upbeat music but also punk rock played in an intimate dark setting, was definitely not sure how the curation was thought about there. We were also served the wrong deserts at the end and upon enquiring we were told that the menu we had was a different one. After a bit of cross checking the restaurant team realized the error and we were brought our correct order. -- Now for the food, If stars were given for food, this restaurant definitely deserves it's place on the guide. The food was exceptional but where the restaurant really leads with, were ofcourse the inventive Chaat dishes. The main course and deserts were traditionally repetitive but with hints of elegance in an otherwise curated menu. Credit where credit is due for the culinary part, I am hesitant to return again due to what may be our one-off experience yesterday. If the management notices to actually address any of these comments there is so much more the space could achieve. Having the chef play favorites or miscommunication between the staff may slowly build up on the restaurants reputation in the long run.
