Top tier Indian cuisine in Hong Kong! We had the lunch set menu and everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The food was more spicy than I had expected but it was still enjoyable and gave a nice flavourful kick to my taste buds. Moreover, the waitress was very attentive and took her time to explain every dish’s cooking process as well as its flavourful profile. Furthermore, the atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and relaxing which enhanced the dining experience. To sum it all up, I highly recommend this culinary experience!

Fantastic food and service. Best Indian food I’ve had in a while. The lobster mango curry is mind blowing. The lamb biryani has an innovative twist and yet super delicious! I also loved the samosa tart (what presentation!) and the chaat tandoori platter. Hard to pick a favourite dish since Everything was perfection. Can’t wait to be back!

IG: @jojo_gourmand Hidden deep within the Rosewood Hotel Hong Kong is CHAAT, aptly named after the Hindi word for “to lick.” The irresistible fragrance, impeccable quality, and distinct layers of flavor and texture make it hard to resist the urge to lick each plate clean. The samosa here is a revelation, reimagined into a cone shape that intensifies in spice with each bite. Packed with jackfruit meat, sweet peas, and garam masala, it immediately awakened my taste buds. The tandoori wagyu beef cheek, unbelievably tender, paired perfectly with yogurt Kashmiri chili sauce, striking a beautiful balance between salty, sweet, and sour. TIME TO RAVE ABOUT THE OLD DELHI BUTTER CHICKEN because the one here is unlike any I’ve tried before. The chef uses two brands of tomatoes: an Italian brand for color and sweetness, and a local brand for a touch of sourness. A generous amount of cashew nuts and caramelized onions adds a refreshingly creamy texture, while the sweetness from honey adds body. (A new core memory) The finesse and expertise of the chef and service team truly push the boundaries of what Indian fine dining can be. 🗺️ Indian Regional Cuisine ⭐️ Michelin One-Starred 🏷️ HK$600+

Stressful and annoying reservation process. I felt so pressured even before arriving at the restaurant. Read the actual messages that I received from the restaurant in Photos section. - HK$500 penalty if you want to change or cancel the booking less than 48 hours before the reserved timeslot. There was no preordered item. - Dining hour policy (limited to 1.5-2 hours) - for a restaurant in a hotel - Kept asking you to reconfirm the booking (twice - first time at 72 hours prior and second time at 48 hours prior) Dining experience: - Service was on par with Michelin stared restaurant. - Food was good, but heavily overpriced for Indian cuisine. Oyster starter, lobster curry and the dessert were the best dishes in the tasting menu, while other food was of normal quality. - The chef tried to make the food look fancy. Some of them do look good but not particularly tasty. Verdict - if you like Indian food, there are lots of better options at much more reasonable prices in Tsim Sha Tsui.
