I ordered a hot chocolate and was really disappointed. The cup was only about 3/4 full, and the drink itself tasted more like warm water than hot chocolate. I drank it because I needed something while revising, but when I got to the bottom, I found a large amount of unmixed chocolate sauce. It clearly hadn’t been stirred properly — something you'd expect to be done. Overall, a letdown.

I've been to Dujour a few times now, and it never disappoints! Went again tonight and was served by Fatima - she was super helpful and friendly. The service was quick and excellent and the desserts, as always, were absolutely delicious. I ordered a matilda cake jar and brownie tray. Consistently a great experience every time I visit. Definitely one of my go-to spots for a sweet treat. Highly recommend!

I had an awful experience with dujour . I called just before 6 PM to order two strawberry cups. I was told the chocolate machine needed heating and it would be 10 minutes. I arrived at 6:10 PM, and was told it would be another 10 minutes, with a promise of a text when it was ready. After messaging at 6:20 PM with no response, I went to the door and was told it would be another 10 minutes. If I knew it would be 20-30 minutes, I would have appreciated a heads up on the phone. After waiting another 15 minutes, the machine was ready, but the strawberries weren't even prepared. In total, it took 45 minutes to get my order. I ordered at 6 PM and was the only customer, so I don't understand why it took so long, especially since there were no other orders to fulfill. I understand there's only one person working, however, 45 minutes to cut some strawberries is an extreme. I even offered to just get sauce from a bottle to save time, but was told I wouldn't like it cold yet she wasn’t the one who was going to be eating it. To top it off, after paying, I didn't receive my change and was told to wait in the car. When I returned, I questioned the £7 charge instead of the expected £5.50. I was told prices had changed, which is understandable, but the old menu with the original prices was still on their Instagram and had just been posted 10 minutes ago. I feel that the price change should have been communicated on the phone or in person, without me having to question it. To make matters worse, after waiting 45 minutes, I got home to find my order was completely wrong, with the wrong sauces in each cup. When I called to complain, she argued with me, insisting she kept the cups separate. While that may be true, the sauces were still incorrect. What made it even worse was that she wasn't apologetic at all. This isn't the first time something like this has happened.
