Dujour

I ordered a hot chocolate and was really disappointed. The cup was only about 3/4 full, and the drink itself tasted more like warm water than hot chocolate. I drank it because I needed something while revising, but when I got to the bottom, I found a large amount of unmixed chocolate sauce. It clearly hadn’t been stirred properly — something you'd expect to be done. Overall, a letdown.

I have been a repeat customer for dujour many times, the past few times the service and quality of desserts has been horrific. Dujour is a place where my family used to order at least once a week and over the past few weeks we’ve had problems with the staff, the wait times and the products being served. Firstly, the food is almost always cold regardless of us waiting 30-40 mins for simple orders like cake. Secondly, every single time i have been to dujour regardless of paying cash or card the staff ALWAYS over charge me. Lastly, the customer service is disgraceful. It seems the owner has not trained staff to deal with complaints from customers. I ordered some cakes and pancakes; pancakes came cold and dream cake was runny not how it is usually made. when we called to discuss the issues with our order the staff got defensive with no apology, to how our order was delivered to us. We also ordered hot chocolate a few weeks back and not only was it watery it was cold and the staffs response was ‘thats how hot chocolate is made’. At least if u have one staff on site teach them hot to handle with complaints. Dujour is disgusting and should not be recommended.
