I’ve been to Nando’s many times, but this visit reminded me why it’s one of the most consistent and reliable places for good food. The peri-peri flavour never disappoints — you get that perfect balance of spice, freshness, and smokiness every single time. The chicken was cooked well, juicy inside, and the marination actually goes all the way through, not just on top. The sides were fresh and hot, especially the spicy rice and peri-salted chips — proper portions and great taste. The place was clean, the tables were ready quickly, and the overall atmosphere was fresh and lively like always. Service was good — not too slow, not rushed — staff were polite and checked on us when needed.

⸻ Service was quick and efficient – everything is now done by scanning a QR code on your phone to order and pay, which was really straightforward. I did feel like there were more options on the online menu compared to the printed copy, but otherwise it worked well. Food came out promptly and the chicken was well cooked. We had two Caesar salads: one could’ve done with more salad leaves, and the other with a bit more dressing. The halloumi portion was a little stingy, and the avocado was slightly overripe and brown. The unlimited ice cream machine was a let-down, as it was only half-frozen and wouldn’t hold its shape in the pot. That said, the staff handled it brilliantly – they refunded the desserts straight away with no fuss, which I really appreciated. Special mention to Harry, our waiter, who was very friendly and helpful throughout. Overall, despite a few small issues, I’d still recommend this branch.

We visited Nando’s on 1st July and had a very disappointing experience. The restaurant inside was hot with a strong food smell since our table was right in front of the kitchen. We requested to be seated outside, but had to wait several minutes as the tables were not clean. Once seated outside, I went to the counter to place our order and clearly mentioned we were now at table 32, but the staff insisted on calling it table 16 for some reason. Half of our order was served to table 32 by the same person who took our order, while the rest arrived 15 minutes later, only after several reminders and follow-ups from our side. The delay was unnecessary, especially considering our order was very simple: 1/4 chicken with rice, peri chips, and corn on the cob. Worse still, when the remaining food was finally brought out, the staff member seemed annoyed that we were even asking about it. According to him, we should have waited and let one person eat at a time while others just sat there waiting! Another major issue: there was no ice in the dispenser for water or soft drinks. I had to walk in and out four times just to get ice for one glass. No staff member seemed willing to help or even acknowledge the issue. To top it all off, the 1/4 chickens and rice were cold—we left half of the rice untouched. Only the peri fries were up to the usual standard. Not a single server seemed apologetic about the situation until we finally spoke with the supervisor, Magda, who at least acknowledged the poor service. This branch usually performs well, but this visit was a complete letdown with cold food, poor service, and a dismissive attitude from most of the staff. Definitely not what we expect from Nando’s.
