⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “A beautifully presented restaurant offering an excellent dining experience. The service was prompt, courteous, and highly attentive. Each Indian dish was expertly prepared and full of authentic flavour. Despite the restaurant being very busy, the waiting time was impressively short. I look forward to returning soon.”

A lovely and authentic Indian restaurant. The crispy mogo was perfectly cooked — crunchy and full of flavour. The achari soya chaap made a great alternative to chicken, packed with delicious spices and tangy notes. For the main course, the vegetable kofta was rich and comforting, with a beautifully spiced gravy that paired wonderfully with the freshly made naan. A truly delightful meal all around!

Firstly I'd like to mention Shakshi. She is an absolute gem and lovely person. Since we've being dinning at Social Dhaba, which is now several years, she's been there and is an asset to the establishment. Her level of service, warmth and attention to detail is exemplar and makes our experience so much better. The food here is always on point. Perfectly balanced flavours and ever never had a dish that we've not enjoyed. We get a real variety of dishes from the menu, including the mix grill, salmon, basil paneer, avocado chat, garlic prawns, tardka dhal and some naans and breads. However, the best dish has to be the Handi Chicken curry. It's just amazing and a defo must. From the desserts, you have a selection of the classics, all of them fantastic so you can't go wrong. This place is regular for me and is always a place I recommend to others and take family and friend's to when in need for a really good Indian.

Well a very anticipated visit but turned out to disappoint. Firstly it’s not a pocket friendly place so mind it, only visit for special occasions. We visited on a Thursday evening and to our surprise the place was packed. It was very noisy which ruined the ambience. We decided to ditch the mains and tried 3 starters, Chicken lollypop, Chicken 65 and Lasuna tangdi. With the hope that our search for a good lollypop will finally end here, we were left disappointed. The food was just average, nothing extraordinary about it when compared to cheaper peers. The lasuni tangdi had absolutely no garlic flavour to it and was just a regular tandoori. The 65 was on the sweeter side with lots of mustard, contrary to the crispy fried version with curry leaves I usually enjoy in south India. The prices are exorbitant for its location and ambiance. Prices are at par with some of the good restaurants in central London. Now to the good part, the staff is kind and good with their service. My advice go if you are in the mood to spend or celebrate a special occasion. We paid 47£ for just 3 starters and a coke.

I recently dined at Social Dhaba and found the experience to be somewhat mixed. The food was decent with good flavor, but overall it felt somewhat underwhelming in terms of portion sizes. The egg curry, for example, contained only three eggs and was priced at nearly £15, which I found to be quite steep for what you received. The naans were also on the expensive side, costing £17.80 for four pieces — about £4.45 each — making it a costly addition to the meal. The atmosphere was okay; nothing particularly memorable, but the staff were friendly and attentive, which was a positive aspect of the visit. However, when it came to the bill, the total for three dishes, two starters, and three drinks exceeded £110. Given the portion sizes and overall experience, I found it to be quite expensive for what was offered. In summary, Social Dhaba offers flavorful Indian dishes but at a premium price point, with portions that don’t quite match the high costs. It might be a good spot for a special occasion if budget isn't a concern, but for everyday dining, it felt a bit pricey.
