We recently visited Holy Smokes BBQ in London and had a great experience. The place has a relaxed, welcoming vibe with that classic smokehouse feel. The menu is focused on hearty barbecue staples, and the portions are generous. The brisket was tender and flavorful with a nice smoke ring, and the ribs were well-seasoned without being overpowering. Sides like mac and cheese and cornbread balanced things out nicely. Service was friendly and attentive without being pushy. Overall, it’s a solid spot if you’re craving authentic barbecue in London and want a laid-back meal with plenty of flavor.

The most incredible food I’ve had in a long time! The meat is the juiciest, slow cooked most tender flavoursome meat I’ve ever tasted. You will not find better brisket! The short ribs have so much flavour! Crispy seasoned fries and a selection of perfectly paired sauces. And the chicken burger had the perfect amount of kick and crunch! Trust me, you need to go here at least once!

Absolutely incredible food, we went here for my friend’s birthday! And what a choice it was, we all enjoyed the food, the vibes and the people. Was a great spot, tucked away in the middle of nowhere. Food was so tasty and for a really fair price, considering its in London.

I had the 12ish Hours Smoked Brisket Bun (200g, £15) at Holy Smokes and wow, it absolutely lived up to the hype! You can really taste the patience and care that went into those 12 hours of smoking. The brisket was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavour. The sweet pickled red chillies, splash of coffee BBQ sauce, and sprinkle of Maldon salt added the perfect balance, all tucked into a lightly toasted brioche bun. This burger was spot-on-rich, satisfying, and worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Very good, will return again. They clearly do most of their business through delivery apps and therefore there isn’t much seating available and it’s in the middle of nowhere. The short rib was the stand out but I was a little disappointed in the brisket loaded fries - brisket not the best and a bit dry. I might have missed this on the menu but it might explain why they don’t do brisket on its own. Would like to see them offer bbq trays
