I recently visited Megan’s in the Village in Wimbledon Village for brunch/lunch (choose as applicable), and while the restaurant has a lively reputation and a generally cosy Mediterranean vibe, I especially wanted to highlight the service from our server, Rose. From the moment we were seated, Rose delivered exceptional service — warm, attentive, and genuinely engaged without ever feeling overbearing. She struck that perfect balance of checking in at just the right moments, offering helpful suggestions from the menu and making us feel truly welcome from start to finish. While Megan’s on the whole has widely-mixed reviews — with many guests noting a friendly, inviting staff and good ambience while others find the service uneven on busy days — our experience with Rose stood out as one of the best aspects of the visit. Some diners report mixed experiences with portion sizes or service consistency at peak times, so having a standout server like Rose can really elevate the visit.

From the moment we walked in, Jasmine welcomed us with a big, genuine smile and let us pick any seat we liked (of course, we couldn’t resist the cosy canopy bench!). Not long after, Jess took great care of us — also with a big smile and made things easy by recommending a tasty option from the brunch menu. It’s amazing how something as simple as a smile can set the tone for the whole experience. Both my girlfriend and I left feeling brighter, having shared a delicious meal along with two refreshing iced matchas. The food, the atmosphere, and especially the staff made our visit such a pleasure. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This place is genuinely adorable: lovely décor, warm vibe, and service that’s quick and friendly. The menu is creative and full of interesting, innovative dishes; everything we tried was genuinely tasty and well-executed.The only downside is portion size. For the price, the plates feel noticeably small, which keeps it from being everyday dining territory.That said, for a special treat, the atmosphere and quality make it worth it. I’d happily return to work through more of the menu.Tip: Arrive before 10 am for brunch; it gets packed fast.Verdict: Highly recommended when you’re in the mood to indulge in a pretty setting with excellent food—just don’t come starving.
