BGR Enfield

I went into this place not expecting very much, it was empty inside but it did look nice and clean, and the blurbs across the exterior and burger pictures looked very appealing. The motorbike inside the shop was a bit peculiar, but looked cool. I ordered two double-patty smash burgers and a portion of chips at the counter. You have the option of sauces for the burger, so I had one with ketchup, and the other with Sriracha sauce. 15 minutes later, and our burgers were served directly on a tray and looked scrumptious. Wow! When I took my first bite into the burger, I was involuntarily nodding in approval, and taken aback by how tasty it was! The bun was very soft. The meat was delicious and succulent, and really well seasoned, and the Sriracha sauce adding that hint of spicy really complemented everything. The American cheese was gooey, and what brought it all together was the sweet caramelised onions. I was impressed! The chips were also cooked to perfection. Not over done, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, definitely a peak potato! The fries were not seasoned by tasted so good. You can add your own seasoning to taste. All in all, I wanted to come back and try one of the other more adventurous options on the menu next time, maybe a milk shake. They also have things like fried oreos on the menu! One thing I can say is that the quality of the burgers is fantastic, coming close rivalling some of my favourites such as Bleeker, and Honest Burger! It is also pretty good value. A single smash burger is about £6, a double is £8 and they also do a triple, but there are lots of other burger options, and other things to try such as chicken wings, wraps, waffles, shakes, hot dogs, cookies etc. Your standard options such as McDonald's and BK do not come close. This is definitely worth trying! I can't wait to come back. 5*
