​We visited Mestizo for dinner with a friend on a Monday evening, and it turned out to be one of the best, most authentic Mexican meals we've had in London. ​What really stands out is the menu. This isn't just your standard burrito and taco joint. Mestizo offers a fantastic variety of great, traditional dishes that I haven't been able to find in other places. To go with the food, they also have local soft drinks from Mexico. I tried one that was like a cola but with a unique, different taste—a great touch. ​We visited at the end of October, and the atmosphere really highlighted their respect for tradition. The restaurant was decorated for Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead), which added to the authentic, cultural feel of the evening. ​As a fun bonus, it just so happened that on Monday, they were running a 50% discount on everything starting with "M"! This wasn't why we went, but it was a pleasant surprise. ​We can highly recommend Mestizo. If you're looking for true Mexican food in London, this is one of the very few places that gets it right. Had lunch here today with my husband (who’s Mexican). Food was incredible. We normally have a difficult time finding good Mexican food around Europe. My husband even said the tamales tasted just like his mom’s. Juan Carlos was our waiter and he was super friendly. Will definitely be going back as often as we can

We went to this restaurant to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday, and everything was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious from start to finish. What really made the evening extra special were the two waiters who looked after us. They were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They even made my mother-in-law feel celebrated, which meant so much to us. Their professionalism and kindness truly elevated the whole experience. Best Mexican restaurant in London! Excellent service — the staff were friendly and attentive. I tried the nachos with chicken and the tacos with beef and cheese; both were absolutely delicious and full of authentic Mexican flavor. The food was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. Highly recommended for anyone looking for real Mexican taste in London. ¡Gracias! 🇲🇽

Tasty Mexican food which changes from your typical London chain and has some proper special dishes like mole etc. We had salsas with totopos for starter and then for main tried the 3 different enchiladas: a mix of verde and rojo, the mole and Cancun. Great service, delicious margaritas (recommend the jalapeño and tamarind!). The only downside perhaps is that it’s really loud downstairs
