We went to this restaurant to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday, and everything was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious from start to finish. What really made the evening extra special were the two waiters who looked after us. They were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They even made my mother-in-law feel celebrated, which meant so much to us. Their professionalism and kindness truly elevated the whole experience. Had lunch here today with my husband (who’s Mexican). Food was incredible. We normally have a difficult time finding good Mexican food around Europe. My husband even said the tamales tasted just like his mom’s. Juan Carlos was our waiter and he was super friendly. Will definitely be going back as often as we can

Tasty Mexican food which changes from your typical London chain and has some proper special dishes like mole etc. We had salsas with totopos for starter and then for main tried the 3 different enchiladas: a mix of verde and rojo, the mole and Cancun. Great service, delicious margaritas (recommend the jalapeño and tamarind!). The only downside perhaps is that it’s really loud downstairs

My husband and I came to Mestizo Camden for our anniversary, and were blown away not only by the incredible food but received impeccable service. Hatzy took excellent care of us — she provided great recommendations on what to order, checked in on us regularly, and made sure to bring her sparkle to our table every time. Isabella was helping her and she brought our drinks in a timely manner, and made sure we wanted for nothing. This is a truly beautiful menu with lovely staff who bring you into the world they create. Not to mention, the food is 10/10 — we had the taco sharing platter and some other little bits and I can honestly say that I have not tasted such good nopales since I lived in Denver!! The barbacoa kept us salivating and the cochinita pibil was lush. We cannot recommend enough the beef tostados - the beef was so succulent I actually had to double check if it was beef. To top it all off, the cocktails were gorgeous - the margaritas here are second-to-none! And we had some horchata to finish off our evening, which can be extremely hard to find in London. We will absolutely be back, and will tell everyone we love to come here. Thank you, Hatzy & Isabella!

This was my first time coming here from a recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint. The staff were just delightful from the second we walked in, Hatzy and Richard were so friendly it made the experience worth while even before we had ordered our drinks! I couldn’t recommend this place enough! They even gave us a free shot each to celebrate our anniversary. We will definitely be back!! Oo make sure you order the taco sharing platter!
