I’m not one to overstate the brilliance of takeaways, if it’s bad, I’ll say so. But Uncle B’s is really good. I can’t speak for the experience of others, but mine has been one of genuine pleasure every time, over several years. This time, I went for a desi chicken pizza and a large portion of chips. The pizza wasn’t like most others you’ll find that have either too much going on or too little. The balance of toppings is perfect. The dough has the perfect amount of crunch whilst also being soft, and the chicken was tender with just the right level of spice. The chips were hot, fresh, and generously portioned — the kind you actually finish even if you’re already full. Whether you’re on the Curry Mile for a late-night bite or just craving something reliably tasty, Uncle B’s delivers every time.

Ordered from uber eats and wow what lovely food! Traditional fish and chips, real jumbo sausage. Delicious strawberry milkshake and traditional full sugar Pepsi. Will be going back here again next time I’m in Manchester hopefully.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Absolutely disgusting service. I would give ZERO stars if it was possible. Food arrived 40 minutes late with no apology from the delivery driver. The food was completely cold. Chips were soggy and mostly uncooked. Fish bites had clearly been fried in dirty oil as you can see from the picture. The"masala fish" was old fish that was dry and had some spice mix on it, not battered. The jalapeno bites were overcooked and also inedible. Uncle B's used to be decent, and have clearly gone downhill. I was also unable to contact the restaurant and deliveroo only gave a partial refund. AVOID THIS PLACE!

I bought regular fish and chips they charged £9.45 and LMAO what on earth was the portion size it was smaller than a small fish and chips. The food was disgusting! It absolutely reeked!!! My whole car stinks of fish right now and it’s a day later! It’s a pongy fish smell, you can tell they haven’t cleaned the oil for 30 years because what on earth is the taste that comes with it. This place used to be a solid 10 before now I wouldn’t even rate it.
