Uncle B's Fish & Chips

Bit hit-and-miss really. Fantastic delivery times (we did home delivery), got the order right but some of the food wasn't edible. Btw, the Uber app is pretty awesome - you can see the delivery driver actually turning into your street on the map! We ordered a veg pizza, a steak chicken mix and large fish and chips. The pizza and fish and chips were perfectly cooked, hot and flavourful. But the steak chicken mix was pretty awful, largely because the steak was unbelievably chewy, so much so that we had to bin the steak pieces. I would order again, but probably give the steak a miss and try the chicken steak instead. Recommended but don't get anything with beef steak unless you have razor sharp teeth and a jaw that can chew lots.

This has to be the WORSE takeaway! Has gone completely downhill. The man who is at the till is really rude and is constantly busy on his phone or on FaceTime that he does not pay attention to the food and burns the food and doesn’t bother serving the customers! I wanted to complain several times to the manager but I am always told he is on holiday in Pakistan. This place used to be good but the food is not disgusting and not worth it. Please avoid at all costs!

Abysmal takeaway. Got on Uber eats and saw 4/5 for hygiene rating which is the best/highest rating out of all the choices I had. Estimated 30 to 45 min.. Took 2 hours to arrive! Stone cold. Burnt taste as everything is well overcooked. The battered Mars bar was nice (never seen or had it before) the chips were OK but very greasy.. The sausage was meh.. And the fish? Tasted worse then a ready meal in the supermarket. No flavour except BURNT batter!
