Walking by we just wanted a nice dinner with a good vibe and atmosphere. Warmly greeted with a smile and ushered to our table but before then we looked at the time a daring menu with a fusion of Mexican and Japanese. Let’s give it a whirl. We are vegetarian and we ordered the vegan menu and had most of the starters which were nice. The mains we had were the soy chicken and empanadas which again were too small portion but nice (a little expensive ) Positives - great customer service by matt. He made the night very seamless and super helpful. - food was interesting and presented nicely - the overall service was very good Negatives - the music was good but too loud - the toilets are a little further away inside the hotel - would be good to have slightly bigger tables to allow for all the tapas dishes to be on the table

Went for a birthday celebration and it lived up to the high expectations we had. The service was really quick and the staff were lovely, helpful and very attentive to all of our needs. The food was delicious, and so were the cocktails. We’d recommend the roasted aubergine and duck salad (the edamame were also great and moorish!). Had lots of lovely vegetarian options and a gluten free and vegan menu too. A lovely time and we would recommend and definitely visit again! 😊

It’s hard to not get too over excited but we had a family meal here last night celebrating 2 birthdays - 27th & 25th and we experienced some of the best food I’ve eaten in a while. The vibe in the place was perfect, nice subtle music in the background with a buzz in the restaurant. I wasn’t sure about Japanese and Mexican mix but wow it worked. Small plate dining but we were very food satisfied by the end - no one could eat anymore. The 9 course experience was exceptional and allowed you to try dishes you would never order but were first class. I have to call out a few - 1. calamari - oh wow - this is simple to cook but so many get it wrong, here it was amazing 2. The stone bass - incredible dish cooked superbly well 3. But the deserts came …. Caused arguments on our table as we couldn’t decided what was nicer the crème brûlée or cheesecake - sensational. The service was exceptional and we were looked after by Mira who was a buzz of positive energy and a great host. Our table connected with the sommiler who gave us the best Cloudy Bay I’ve had and the general manager was an amazing guy who ensured we were fully looked after all evening. An absolute first class experience - I could not recommend this place anymore.

Beautiful setting inside the Edwardian Hotel. On arrival staff were very friendly and helpful, we felt very welcome. The food was good, we enjoy small plate sharing so the Japanese Mexican fusion is perfect for us. Very lively atmosphere, was a Friday night so the DJ was on, probably a bit too much like a Nightclub for us but I'm not complaining about that, it's Manchester and full of younger people and that's the vibe they want. All in all very nice place and would recommend. Thanks to the team for the anniversary dessert too...nice touch 🙏
