The place is spacious and clean, which is a positive point. However, the sandwich meals were below average in terms of flavour. There was nothing particularly memorable, and the flavours were quite mild compared to other fast-food restaurants that offer better taste at a lower price. Overall, it felt more expensive than expected for the quality provided.

My first time at Slims, fair play it was extremely tasty, lots of flavours in that sauce range going on, it was really tricky to pick my favourite out of what I chose. The food was hot and fresh and the milkshakes were thick, icy and refreshing! I couldn't fault it whatsoever :) we also thought the Guinness book of records on the TVs made everyone get off their phones and actually interact with each...what a great idea! I'll definitely be adding it to my studio. I will definitely return when I visit Cardiff again

Slim Chickens absolutely deserves a full 5 stars. The food was served hot, fresh, and incredibly tasty — you can really tell the ingredients are clean and high quality. We ordered two regular chicken burger meals (which each came with fries, a drink, and a dip for £12) plus a side of 3 chicken tenders for £6. Every bite was outstanding. The chicken itself is incredible — juicy on the inside with a sensational, perfectly seasoned coating. The dips were a real highlight too; we tried the garlic mayo and mustard and both were packed with flavour. Drinks being refillable is a great bonus as well. The restaurant was also spotless. As soon as customers left their tables, a staff member would come over straight away to clear rubbish and wipe everything down. The staff were friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. I’m usually quite fussy with food and often leave places saying I wouldn’t go back — but I would definitely return to Slim Chickens. I honestly can’t complain about a single thing. Highly recommend!

I travelled down from aberystwyth to cardiff today for a shopping day, and visiting slim chickens was definitely the highlight of my day! not only was the atmosphere incredible, the food was even better! shoutout to the supervisor on shift today who made this experience even better, answering any questions we had, and delivering great service. Definitely recommend attending when in Cardiff!!

chicken taste is super good. tenders are great, wings are amazing. sauces slim is a bit spicy but great in cold. service is fast. affordable and the portion can satisfy you
