Mr. Broast in Lombard, Illinois, delivers fresh, flavorful food fast. The fried chicken and burgers are packed with bold seasoning, and the drinks hit the spot. Service is quick, and the staff is friendly. It's a solid choice for a satisfying halal meal that doesn’t compromise on quality or taste.

I strongly recommend the Zinger burger meal. It’s a crispy breaded chicken sandwich that is exquisitely flavorful. The fries are good, not out of this world but good. The sandwich is definitely delicious… if you haven’t yet, you MUST try it! The drinks with boba look good but I haven’t had the chance to order any of them yet. If you’re short on time, call and order ahead so your food will be ready to go by the time you get there. Otherwise you’ll be waiting a good 10-15 mins.

I’ve been coming to this Mr. Broast location since they were in the smaller spot across the street, and it’s been solid over the years. The food is good—not mind-blowing, but consistently satisfying. Prices are fairly reasonable, especially considering it’s in the middle of a busy cluster of halal eateries in the area. Service is decent—they’re usually friendly and try to keep things moving, even during busy times. The place is kept fairly clean, which is always appreciated. It still has that “hole in the wall” kind of vibe, but that’s part of the charm. It’s not trying to be fancy, just a reliable go-to when you’re hungry and want something quick and flavorful. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

The service was very fast and the restaurant was quite peaceful. There were numerous chicken, burger and Gyro items on the menu. We tried the gyro in a pita and a steak wrap. They were very good.

This is my 3rd time going here recently, and sadly each time I’m more and more let down. The staff is not rude but also not the most helpful. I had payed almost 10$ for boneless wings and was served what seemed to be quail meat because of how small the portion was. In the picture I had already taken a bite but regardless it was unacceptable. The second time I went, they gave a total of 10 fries probably when my friends and I all payed for meals. We were able to get an extra side of fries for free after bringing it up to the staff, but along with that we were served a lot of attitude as well. The third and best believe last time my friends and I came, which was today, we had brought a little food from outside but ordered items from their menu additionally. We were about halfway done with our food with our hands all messy and were told we can’t eat here because we have food from outside. We were told we can eat outside and they have tables there. It was 30 degrees and snowing outside. I think that says enough. We were paying customers who, honest to god, did not see the piece of paper that was barely visible on the SECOND door of the building that barely stays closed that said no outside food allowed. Only when told to leave we saw it, but regardless we understand there are policies, But the way the situation was handled was very unprofessional. If we were told we can’t bring food from outside in but can finish our meal and not do it again, With every ounce of honor and respect in my heart I would’ve gladly done so and come back to eat at Mr.Broast. But with the experiences I’ve had, I’m sorry but the reputation they’ve built for me is not sufficient for my return. This is no way an attack to the employees, I get this is their job, but there Is a level of respect and professionalism necessary in order to handle situations like these.
