Burger Box Fallowfield

This place is pretty decent for a late night scran. Most of the time if a place is open late, it usually means the food quality isn’t up to snuff, but not with this gaff.
Granted, I was quite disappointed with the peri wings as they were tiny and most of the sauce had ran off them by the time I received my order.
The fried chicken burger is very flavourful and crunchy, but is lacking in the actual chicken department, so it’s mostly breading. But still, quite tasty.
The smash burger is completely serviceable for the time I ordered too(02:30am), so I’m not mad at it.
Chips were soft and dry on arrival though, but edible.
Will deffo order again, regardless of my critiques

Poor Taste. I bought the peri peri strips and a peri peri burger from Burger Box Fallowfield today, and honestly, it was quite disappointing. The burger itself was just about okay, but the chicken inside lacked any real flavour or freshness. The strips, however, were the biggest letdown, extremely dry from inside, almost rubbery in taste, and honestly inedible. I couldn’t even finish one. Overall, not a pleasant experience, and I really expected better. Would not recommend to others.

Appalling service by one staff member (had long hair) in particular. Gave me a receipt for double what i had ordered, i had told him the receipt says double as if he had put the order through twice he corrected me abruptly.

Free customer sauce was in use and also at the till area available, I had grabbed a portion pot which was also in the customer area to put some sauce in as i did not have my friends yet, and he had stopped his work to aggressively tell me to put the pots down i cannot use them after i had politely explained i wanted 1 for the sauce which i wanted to  take a small portion of which was being used by another table and didn’t want to take their bottle.

After this, he was very hostile and i would catch him overly staring at me which made me feel uncomfortable, which my friend  brought to my attention initially

He was aggressive towards me and clicked across the counter with his fingers at me to tell his staff the order was mine even though i was not distracted and was clearly looking at staff, this was after my friend had asked for my fries with receipt after the next 5 orders (which were meals including fries) had been completed except for mine.

Another, polite member of staff which had the receipt shown agreed to make the order of fries asking if it was 2 fries (as he had put through 2 on the receipt yet charged me for one) where i explained it’s just one portion then the original worker had shouted at me that it was 1 fries not 2 although I was not requesting for 2, just my order.

The fries were poorly cooked i would say had been fried for at least a minute, or potentially defrosted to room temperature and simply placed in the bag: I wouldn’t have mentioned this nor said it was intentional if the original worker had not of made the order yet he did after his boss had told him to, conveniently the first fries on top were crispy and adequate yet after the first layer the ones underneath were practically raw and inedible- which makes me feel like this was intentional based on his issues with me

Overall, This is a shame as i am a regular customer and always have good experiences with this restaurant and every other worker however the worker who i have never seen working at the restaurant until this occasion has really tarnished my opinion on the restaurant

Nice place and great food. Friendly staff and very clean.

We really enjoy the food here, but unfortunately, we’ve noticed that some of the staff can be quite unprofessional at times. Their customer service and communication could be improved, as they don’t always interact with customers in a respectful or courteous manner.

We truly like this place and would prefer not to stop coming because of this issue, so we hope management can look into improving staff training and service quality.
