Really enjoyed our lunch at Kai Mayfair. The food was excellent, I particularly liked the elevated take on things like salt and pepper squid and prawn toast. The Chilean sea bass was phenomenal, truly melted in your mouth. I also really enjoyed the ambiance and details, the art, decor and dishes add to the experience. The service is elevated and refined. Perfect for a special occasion!

We had an incredible experience at Kai Mayfair. The food was absolutely outstanding. The pork belly and squid were honestly the best I’ve ever tasted and every dish felt beautifully thought out and perfectly executed. The staff were warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. They even surprised my partner with a lovely birthday platter, which was such a thoughtful touch.

The only downside was the dress code. We made the effort to dress smartly but most other diners were wearing jeans, hoodies, and trainers. It completely killed the atmosphere and cheapened what should feel like a high end dining experience. If a restaurant has a dress code, it should really be applied to everyone as it’s part of what sets the tone.

Overall though, the service and food were exceptional. With a bit more consistency in maintaining the ambience, it would easily be a five star experience.

I got offered an afternoon tea for my birthday and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. We came with my husband and 9 month baby, the staff was very accommodating and helpful. The room downstairs has a very soft ambiance with beautiful paintings, and dimmed lights. I loved the theme with the crazy rich Asian book, the plates and littles decoration was very well done. The trays and teapots were also very pretty. The food was exquisite! The portions are quite small but each of them have a special taste, which i appreciated. It does change from the usual sandwiches. You can choose to have a refill of the savoury or sweet. The only downside if you could only pick one tea per person which was a shame. The staff was very nice as well. We were very happy with the experience.

Came here for lunch the place was exquiste. The decorations and table wear brought the visual senses to attention before ever seeimg the menu.  Then the food didnt disapoint.  It was so.good. ordered mutliple things and left more full than i shld have.

Everything on the menu is Halal except the pork, duck and wagyu.
