Great and fast service from the Ramo team. Really enjoyed my visit here with great and hospitable staff and an excellent ambiance within the restaurant. Really enjoyed their calamansi ade, which was refreshing and not overly sour or sweet: definitely a great drink to have with their wide variety of dishes. I would recommend the oxtail kare kare, with flossed oxtail packed with rich salty and umami flavour distinctive for kare kare. The fried chicken katsu donburi had a great crispy katsu, not soggy or overly salty, and paired well with their rich flavourful katsu curry sauce. The portion sizes are pretty good for Central London and the food was served pretty quickly. Would recommend to check this place out for great pan-Asian Filipino fusion.

Had dinner here with my cousin. The starter was the miso baked shrimp dumplings. The taste of the dish was very subtle despite the melted cheese on top. The flavours of the shrimp shone despite all the components of the dish. Not overally greasy and heavy but probably better to have it to share. The ramen I had was the lamb chashu. The broth was not as thick as I expected it to be (lamb and beef broth) but there is definitely the after mouthfeel from the lamb. Each component of the dish compliments well with each other but maybe the lamb meat on top is a bit too strong and overpowers the ramen when the entire dish is put together. Overall, it is nice and would probably order again if I visit here again. I tasted a bit of my cousin’s chicken sopas ramen and the flavours were a pleasant surprise as the chefs did well to incorporate the filipino adobo flavours in a ramen dish. A let down was that the bamboo shoots were inconsistent with varying length size and texture - some weren’t chewy all the way through and others were more tender. Service was very nice, attentive and friendly to talk to. The music selection fit the overall ambience and has some bangers coming on every few minutes. Overall, pretty enjoyable meal if you want to try something new with friends.

What looks absolutely delicious is quite sickly and difficult to finish. My family and I had the Chicken Sop Ramen and it was just too milky, had unpleasant sweet undertones, and the chicken was strangely pink. As you can see in the picture, you are given a very small serving of chicken too. Which I think is appalling for the £16 you pay for each ramen bowl. The smell wasn't nice either. I came home and felt massively disappointed at how I spent my money on a pile of slop I couldn't finish. The atmosphere was nice and peaceful, there's a lot of available seating inside. The staff were cheeky enough to put on a service charge despite hardly doing anything for us at all. I don't mind not seeing to us often, but considering the food is ridiculously overpriced, and it's not even that good, it felt unseemly. I didn't appreciate being sat right next to staff as well despite there being many empty tables. I couldn't even complain to my family properly without being overheard. My sister loves this place, I don't. It's probably a preference, but you definitely have to be in the mood for fatty, milky broth to dine here, with an overwhelmingly strong smell of meat. I do love umami foods but this didn't hit the spot and put me off eating anything afterwards entirely. Oh, the egg was lovely though.

Great food and excellent service. We had the oxtail ramen and chicken sopas. The broths were flavorful and the meat, tenderly cooked. I enjoyed my meal so much I came back a week later.
