Is KFC Mile End Road Halal?
Yes, KFC does serve Halal food. The owner of the restaurant said "HFA has certified KFC's products in these stores, and the store environments, as halal. KFC has also ensured that the halal certified chicken would also meet the rigorous animal welfare standards employed in the UK, and has consulted leading animal welfare groups about this. KFC insists that all poultry is stunned before slaughter. HFA allows the use of a technique called 'stun-to-stun' - a pain free process that makes the animal insensible to pain and suffering. A verse is also recited from the Quran at the point of slaughter by an appropriate person and the poultry will not come into contact with non-halal meat at any point in the supply chain. KFC only buys high quality, Grade A, farm-assured chicken from trustworthy suppliers, and this will not change."

Very disappointing experience. I ordered food from KFC at mile end and found feathers in the chicken wings. This raises serious concerns about hygiene and quality control. It was extremely off-putting and unacceptable from a global food brand. I’ve reached out to report the issue and hope it’s taken seriously. Definitely not what you expect when paying for a meal.

Nice and quiet on my visit. Served quickly and tasted good. My only issue was being served the ice-cream before the main meal.

Didn't want to take my order, kept pointing me to a screen telling me to order there when I'm stood at the counter, all the staff were just standing around. I said can I just order here, you're here in front of me now at that point I’ve decided I would not order and just go then the girl opened it till then I wanted my five year old daughter to order their chicken popcorn girl just turned around and said we don’t have popcorn chicken anymore. Finish how could that be? It’s one of the busiest day of the year you got the carnival around corner taking place today, and the station right there and they said they don’t have it anymore. What a disappointment. What a joke a chicken shop doesn’t have chicken. This has taken place on the 24/08/2025 at 12:48

Very disappointed with my recent visit to this KFC. I paid extra for drinks, but later realized they had only filled the cups with the same amount as a regular size, just poured it into a larger cup. That’s completely dishonest and feels like a scam. I didn’t notice until I got home, so I didn’t have the chance to bring it up at the time. One of the female staff members, wearing a hijab, possibly the manager, handled my order. This kind of service is unacceptable, and I won’t be returning if this is how paying customers are treated.
