Hoppers – Marylebone, London Our evening at Hoppers Marylebone was a memorable introduction to the vibrant flavours of Sri Lankan cuisine. Dining as a party of four, we were immediately struck by the restaurant’s warm yet stylish ambience. The interior design blends cozy comfort with authentic touches, creating an inviting space that reflects the spirit of Sri Lanka. The menu offers an exciting variety of dishes, each one bursting with distinctive spices and perfectly balanced flavours. Every plate we sampled was both delicious and beautifully presented, demonstrating real culinary. Service was exemplary. Our waitress was attentive and thoroughly knowledgeable about the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. Her guidance made it easy to explore unfamiliar dishes with confidence. The cocktail list deserves special mention. Each drink was expertly mixed, complementing the food with fresh, well-judged flavours. Overall, Hoppers delivers a dining experience that is both exciting and deeply satisfying. From the exceptional food to the warm hospitality and stylish surroundings, it is a restaurant we will gladly return to and wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking authentic Sri Lankan flavours in the heart of London.

Very unique sirilankan restaurant in the heart on London. Outside seating. Inside seating in basement is really cozy. I would not sit upstairs. We tried the hoppers experience where they bring you a little bit of everything. My son had the biriyani. My wife wasn’t a fan so I deducted a star. Food tastes great. Brandon the host was great.

Honestly quite disappointed by the experience. Food is good, but service is neither attentive nor welcoming. We reserved days ahead but were seated upstairs directly under an aggressive fan. Not sure who enjoys strong wind in your eyes and nose while you eat. Even our napkins were flown away. We asked to turn it off but it was not possible as apparently all fans would be turned off and other guests need them. Simple would have been another table - but unfortunately we were left there and without any further word food was brought over. Nothing really hot, but fast.

We enjoyed the food, the dishes came very quickly and all had great flavours. We also liked the drinks selection, very funky and tasty drinks! Not many restaurants have tasty creative soft drinks so this was a huge plus. The restaurant has a nice ambience and the staff are all nice, we had a very nice and attentive waitress. That said, we only had 1 hour and felt quite rushed towards the end, hadn’t finished our mains and were constantly being asked if they could clear the table and if we wanted dessert, not quite the experience we were expecting for the cost. When we made the reservation, there was no warning that we only had the table for 1 hour. Other than that, we enjoyed it, would’ve been nice to have more time to properly enjoy the meal and actually have time to order dessert though

Nice restaurant in central London. Great vibe and very helpful and polite staff. From the hoppers experience, the devilled paneer is highly recommended. The wattalapam lassi was the best lassi I've ever tried!
