Hoppers Marylebone was my first hopper experience, recommended by a local, and it turned out to be a great introduction. The meal felt authentic, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared from start to finish. I ordered the dosa, bone marrow varuval, roti, and lamb kari, and everything was well done. For two people, this was more than enough food — we even had leftovers. The flavors were bold without being overwhelming, and each dish felt distinct and satisfying. The service wasn’t the most attentive, but it didn’t detract from the overall experience. Overall, a fantastic meal and a great place to try Sri Lankan–inspired cooking for the first time. Would definitely come back.

This is the first time I have been to Hoppers and I must say it was excellent on every level. They have some excellent cocktails and the food we ordered was absolutely superb. We could not fault the service and the atmosphere was brilliant. The place was packed, but we never had any problems getting food. You have to try the hoppers and the Dosas these are excellent. I would highly recommend the taste that menu if you haven’t been before.

Food: The spicy squid as a starter was very good. We also ordered Aubergine Curry paired with white rice. It was recommended but we didn't like the curry as much. Seemed to lack the flavor. Service: Our server was friendly. She made sure we have everything we needed during the meal. Ambiance: Great for casual or formal dining with friends and family. Unique decor. Seating available inside and outside the restaurant. May need reservation on weekends. Value: Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service.
