I first came to Hakkasan back in 2016 — nine years ago — and I’ve been in love with this place ever since. Few restaurants in London have managed to maintain such a consistent level of excellence over time. Every visit feels just as special as the first. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere envelops you: dim lighting, elegant music, and that signature balance of modern luxury and intimacy that only Hakkasan can create. The service is always refined yet relaxed, perfectly matching the restaurant’s understated sophistication. The food remains absolutely outstanding. The crispy duck salad, the black truffle roasted duck, and the legendary pipa duck are on another level — perfectly cooked, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The dim sum selection and wagyu beef dishes are equally impressive, with every bite showing precision and artistry. Over the years, Hakkasan has never lost its magic. It continues to set the standard for contemporary Cantonese cuisine in London — a place where perfection feels effortless. Whether for a celebration or a quiet dinner, it remains one of my all-time favourites. Simply exceptional — from the duck to the cocktails, everything is top-tier.

It was a birthday celebration gift and we ordered the emerald range which was all vegetarian. The food was good given the price you pay however thw service was rushed. Given the price you pay you expect quality service and ambience however like any other local restuarant they want to fill their seats as many times as they can pretend to offer quality service but maybe not to the standard of Park Chinois.

The restaurant is always busy, so a reservation is essential. The overall atmosphere is quite dark, and the noise level can be high. Service was fast and efficient, and the food was delicious — I highly recommend the prawn toast and the prawns with cashew. The restaurant is on the expensive side; our bill for five people was around £230.

We had an amazing time at Hakkasan Mayfair. We visited before but came back again. Love this place. The dimsums are just amazing. The food is amazing as usual. But what’s also really great is the ambience and the warmth with which you are received and hosted every single time. It was an amazing meal from such amazing hosts.
