They do one of the best matcha in town, you wouldn’t expect this from a dessert  place. I always order their pistachio ice cream and they taste similar to what I had in Italy (even better than some places there!) Lovely service from Karol and Kirsty, it’s always my go-to place plus it’s also pet-friendly as well :)

We had a cute time here! The ice creams were great and staff were friendly. The sundae looked spectacular and the cookie was good too

excellent customer service from Gaz! so friendly and helpful. delicious milkshake with their signature hazelnut cream spread. I loved it so much, they gave me a jar!

I went for a freak shake, they didn’t have cake but managed to get a brownie instead, tasted great. loved the vibes inside. i’d definitely recommend!

Used to be unreal and would go very regularly, last year or so somethings clearly changed. Prices have gone up, portions got smaller and quality has dropped. Chicken was clearly warmed up or just very over done as it was super dry, mac and cheese was 100% not fresh and this used to be one of my favourite dishes and the chips were awful. If I wasn’t with a group I would have definitely returned the food for a refund. Unfortunately this has been the case the past few times and I’ve hoped it would get better, very unlikely I’ll return again. Staff are great though.

Lovely staff and food was so good! So accommodating to us being in fairly late and quick service too! We had the salt n pepper box and the lettuce boats which were delectable to share between two!

We only popped in because the wait was too long at another restaurant. Boy am I glad we did try here next because it was A. Maz. Ing!Chicken parmo, salt and pepper fries and a Reuben burger. Food was absolutely banging and the staff couldn't have been better, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and attentive will definitely be back.

Bit underwhelming. Christmas menu restrictive. Chose a Yorkshire wrap with chicken. Not a patch on what you can get on the Christmas markets. It was so spicy I couldn't even taste the chicken that everyone raves about. Cocktails overpriced. The only highlight was the gravy. I could have had a bucket of that, but I'd rather have a KFC any day.

food is usually and still is banging from here and is always what has made me come to Manchester in the first place!, however on this occasion I changed my usually order from just the thighs , to the mac attack burger! It was initially so so good until I started to reach the end and it was the chewiest most horrible chicken imaginable, upon further inspection grey and pink inside- very worrying. I would say it was due to the “thigh” meat that was being used but previously I have just ordered thighs and never had this issue, also portion size smaller than i remember 😔major let down and made me very cautious of coming back to one of my favourites, cannot fault staff and service, and had a very nice guest lager which was reasonably priced for Manchester 💖

Gooey Bakery + Café

Food was very tasty, with an interesting menu that I’d like to come back to soon. We tried the Classic Reuben, Egg sandwich and Bacon sandwich, as well as coffee and teas. All were absolutely lovely and staff were very kind and accommodating when asked if we could get extra Reuben sandwiches to go. Atmosphere overall was very friendly, though some tables could have been cleaned quicker. Otherwise, we had a great time and I’d love to come back to try the famous french toast!

Best bacon sandwich I have ever tasted. Took the kids here, they tried the French toast. Simply wow. Breakfast at Gooey is now an essential part of any foodie trip to Manchester. You have to try the bacon sandwich.. That brown sauce - so good!

I wasn’t expecting too much from this café at first, as I thought it was just another influencer spot — but it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise! What impressed me most was actually their savoury food, which was absolutely delicious and even better than many savoury restaurants I’ve tried.

The katsu sandwich and crispy prawn bun were both full of flavour. With my Asian palate, I noticed the stir-fried veg tasted a bit like Cantonese-style sauce, which I really enjoyed. The katsu sandwich was perfectly balanced in flavour, and the prawn bun was juicy and thick — just a little salty, so make sure to have it with the bread in one bite. I was genuinely shocked (in a good way!) at the first bite — I’m sure you’ll feel the same.

We didn’t try the cookie, so can’t comment on the sweet options. The Kinder donut was good, though not particularly special. We planned to try the Reuben sandwich but didn’t this time — it seemed popular, so check other reviews for that one.

The only downside was the service — not sure if I’m happy with it, as there’s always a queue outside but the table turnover seemed quite slow. The online ordering system also felt a bit sluggish, which might have caused the queue. It made the experience a bit less pleasant despite the great food.

All in all, I’ll definitely be coming back for the savoury dishes again soon!

We felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. The staff checked in on us throughout the meal, clearly explained the menu, asked about allergies, and gave solid recommendations on what to order.

The food arrived promptly and was exactly as expected. The quality was excellent across the board. The French toast is clearly the standout and seems to be the most popular item on the menu, and the pastrami sandwich was also top-notch.

Overall, the value for money was very good and I would highly recommend this place.

I can never forget this French toast from gooey. It was genuinely the best French toast I’ve had. The flavours are so incredible and the texture is unlike anything you will have had before. One thing I must admit is that we selfishly ordered a French toast each. This was not a good idea. Despite being very good, it gets hard to eat after a while and it is much better shared between 2 or even 3 people. Don’t be gluttonous. We also got the pumpkin spice filled donuts which were good too. Just be careful how much you order otherwise you’ll walk out in a genuine food coma

The food is really good to say perfect! Very clean staff, flavours flawless, the ranchbis just 💕. I just have one comment that I think you really must take into consideration. The Quran and the music playing at the same time is not really something that would be dismissed. As a respectful place, I think this might be just a slip (I hope so). So please, if you are intending to play Quran, it's either to choose to play that and stop the music or not to play it at all in the store as no body is listening to it. But it doesnt work both of them at the same time. Thank you!

Absolutely disappointed with the service at Wingstop city Centre.

We placed a takeaway order for our family as the place was extremely crowded. We ordered three 12-piece wings and two kids meals. When we got home — after a 40-minute drive back to Preston — we discovered the order was completely wrong. Not just a small mistake, but a total mess-up.

Tried calling them multiple times to get it sorted, but no one answered the phone. This is absolutely unacceptable for a big brand like Wingstop. If you’re running a busy location, the least you can do is make sure the takeaway orders are correct — especially when customers are travelling long distances.

No way to get it fixed once you’re home, and no customer support either. Honestly, a complete joke of a service.

Will think twice before going back. A waste of time, money, and a ruined meal for the whole family.

Might be late to the party but I finally tried wingstop for the first time. I have to say, I would actually get out of my way to come back & have it again.

I got chose Parmesan garlic & Louisiana sauces with honey garlic dip. They’re not spicy, with amazing taste. Would actually order them again.

Huge shoutout to Muhammad Arsalan, helped me & my friends pick sauces as it’s our first time here. Brought good vibes & made sure to check if we’re having a good time.

Clearly a struggling establishment, with limited space .

1. Customer service from FOH was okay , in addition very limited seating and the free table was dirty
2. Food took around 20 mins to come and was cold and uneven distribution of sauce (see image below). Sorry to nitpick but the wingstop paper in the food were all inside out .
3.  Checkback wasn’t done , the table number was taken immediately
4. Manager was nice giving a takeaway box :)

Fairly disappointing but maybe I came on a bad day .

I visited Wingstop at Manchester Piccadilly and ordered wings, chips, and boneless chicken. The food was tasty, but the place was extremely busy, which made it hard to find a seat. Some of the chairs were too high, which made it difficult for my mom to sit comfortably. Also, the prices felt a bit high compared to other fast food places.

Loved this unexpected find. Quirky/vintage vibes. Great menu - especially for drinks. I had Manchester Rain which was Earl Grey Latte, husband had Biscoff Latte and our daughters had the Northern Quarter flavoured black tea and we all really enjoyed them. Food was lovely and beautifully presented too!

No greeting or welcome at the door—stood there ignored with zero eye contact from staff. Once seated, had to flag a waitress down; she acknowledged me but then served two other tables and cleaned up before finally coming over. Drinks took 25 minutes (request for medium-temperature latte completely ignored - came scalding hot). Food arrived looked nice but poached eggs were very overcooked. Was starving so didn’t complain. No staff checked on us afterwards… Felt neglected the entire time. Fresh ingredients, but poor service and attention made it disappointing. Hope they improved visited before and very difficult experience. Looked understaffed and not a single smile from anyone that works there

The food was delicious and really good portion size too, the drinks were also lovely. We were seated at a table immediately and food and drinks came really quickly. I highly recommend here for brunch and a coffee!

This place is amazing , it’s a must visit if you like meat. It just keeps coming and every cut is super tasty and enjoyable.
If you don’t want to try the meat that comes round just wait for the next one to come round.
The spicy beef is incredible I had quite a few pieces of this as it was so good

The staff and I mean all of the staff were really helpful and friendly.

Been here a number of times. Now alot of competition doin the same if not very similar. Service was great and can't fault it. Was a little slow at times brining the meats round but when asked did Come no problem at all. Its changed since I last went in terms of hot sides and salads. You now need to order these and can't get ur own. They are still unlimited however on occasions did forget certain ones and the plates take a lot of room up on the table I much preferred the old way. Some parking behide the restaurant however parking is difficult.

The food offering has gone down a lot since the place used to be my favourite 10 years ago, and after speaking with friends everyone tells me to try Fazenda’s. The meat offering was not what it used to be only around 5/7 meats on the rounds, which compared to when I used to go is poor. But I suppose if they don’t get the footfall they have to make cuts. Unfortunately this doesn’t make for a great experience. All the staff were lovely. The servers were cheeky, but professional. But did make the night more enjoyable.

I've wanted to come here for so long and finally came tonight to celebrate our 4th anniversary.  The service we received was exceptional.  The food was divine - great cocktails, unlimited sides and amazing bbq meats.  I was worried I would be stalking all the servers for more meat but thankfully they kept coming over.  What impressed me the most was that they gave us complimentary champagne and all the servers congratulated us on our anniversary, even the manager.  Amazing experience and can't wait to come back. I came on the 1st December 2021 during lunchtime. Price was about £21 per person as it was a buffet themed restaurant. We were offered a choice of sirloin,cheese,rib eye steak and many more with the steak all being extremely flavourful. The quality was extremely good and with the unlimited sides topped off our experience, sides ranged from sweet potato mash and French fries to squid, black prawns and others which some people would class as starters. The drinks were more on the expensive end but a cocktail for £8-9 is pretty standard in most places. In total we spent around £70 (£40 for food and 20 on drinks inc. 10% surcharge) I rated 4/5 as as we approached the end of service the man who was serving the meats went on his break (by no means is his fault as he should have a break) but they should have another person go around to continue serving as we waited a solid 20 mins before realising they were not serving meats anymore.

Was met with amazing service from the door till we went back out the door. They have a friendly atmosphere that’s also really cute for anyone who likes taking pictures. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I opted for the Brie chutney which I recommend as a light bite. My friend got the steak eggs and hash browns, every component blended together as well as being cooked to perfection with a great umami flavour. I 100% recommend if you’re passing through NQ!

So this place was def built for instagram, very specific decor, very clean but that’s definitely no crime.
We went at a not too busy time, we were seated right away, handed menus immediately upon sitting down but after 10 min had to go get the waiter to take order. The food came very quickly after that and was well presented and well cooked (see pictures).

A varied but small enough menu that has good options for savoury and sweet as well.
Food came out quick, was warm & delicious I love every time I go. Definitely give it a try

I really enjoy Fress every time I go, the food is always top notch and to the best standard. I tried the Steak and eggs today and my friend had the Philly cheesesteak wrap. Both dishes were excellent and wonderfully tasty. The menu is great and offers such a fantastic range of options and each dish doesn’t disappoint. The decor and style of the place is really nice, making for a wonderful breakfast, brunch or lunch experience . Love this place and will return many more times!

I visited this place today and had a really fantastic experience.

The two ladies working were absolutely wonderful, providing good service.

They were so attentive and made sure we were looked after.

Plus, the food was good, I'm definitely planning on coming back soon!

The Good:
- plenty of seating and quick service

The Bad:
- a little cold could do with some heating facilities or keeping the place a little warm

The End:
- Overall I enjoyed the care and consideration put in to their delivery of good customer service and food

Such a lovely place with great food and hot drinks.  I had to try the ‘chai latte’ and it was delicious!
Ended up coming back in the afternoon for another one! The cheese sandwich with Cajun chicken hit the spot.  Would recommend to all.  The staff are very friendly and accommodating

The best full English I’ve ever had. Not many halal spots that do 10/10 breakfast, but this is definitely up there. I would have taken a pic but I was so in awe that I only remembered after I finished. What beautiful waitresses and service

It’s just such a sub par restaurant, looks very nice from the outside but very shabby on the inside. All the leather chairs are heavily peeling. Does not feel comfortable. The food was just so mediocre it encroached on being properly bad. The full English is over priced like crazy for what they were offering. The eggs used were so yellow it was off putting. I will say the French toast was nice but the slices look like they were on a diet. The drinks we ordered came out lukewarm at best and was cold before we finish the food aswell. I will add the servers did seem lovely and were quite helpful however it is quite odd we had to leave our table and go to the till to order our food?

Great spot for brunch. If it’s the weekend, be prepared for a wait, one in line and for your food. It gets quite busy but I’d say it’s worth the wait. The servers were friendly and checked in several times. We had the shakshuka which had the perfect touch of spice and the French toast was French toasting 😋 the warm bevvies were perfect for the weather. Hot chocolate was rich and the rose, honey and cardamom latte was love. Would love to return to try more dishes.  Particularly the duck dish caught my eye!

Hmm what do I say. Atmosphere is awesome. Great vibe and ambience. Goes downhill from here. Service was horrible almost non-existent. My wife’s tea was old and milk curdled - which was replaced free of charge but still don’t expect that from here. My shakshuka was a dump of uncooked tomato’s and hard chickpeas with one egg which had a pale yellow yolk (says it all). My wife’s ECB breakfast was serviceable. Eggs slightly overdone but ok. Flat white was very good. We didn’t complain but they noticed we had not finished our food so they gave us 20% off. Would not recommend and I would not come back.

Today we went for brunch at Evelyn’s and had a really good experience. We ordered coffees and a hot chocolate which were all very nice. The food was delicious overall, except for the granola bowl. The service was friendly and attentive. Overall we had a very nice visit at Evelyn’s.

I think Evelyn's is the best brunch place I've tried so far in Manchester. I've been there 4 times and every single dish I've tried has been incredible! Whenever I want to impress someone, I take them to Evelyn's. My favourite brunch spot in Manchester without a doubt.

I booked Evelyn's for dinner for a Christmassy weekend in MCR with my mum & her friends, having been here before, because it's always been a consistently good vibe, tasty food & incredible service.

Firstly - shoutout to the Paloma cocktail- it's my FAV here - a strong 12/10!

For food, we ordered all the dips (hummus, labneh & baba) that come with pita  - baba was a standout with that unreal curry leaf oil! The roasted cauliflower, Hispi Cabbage, Caesar salad, hand cut fries, Sea Bream from the specials, panacotta, lemon posset - literally everything was so tasty. Unfortunately we had slight issues with both the Monkfish dish & Half Chicken from the mains - both were incredibly salty and not palatable :(

We initially raised the issue about the monk fish to Kayani & she swapped for another sea bream & took the monk fish off the bill. Then the half chicken came out (and the same thing happened with the saltiness) and Kayani was so understanding, took this off the bill, took the time to find out & explain what may have happened to result in saltiness & had no hesitation to take items off the bill and make sure we still enjoyed our visit. For that we were entirely grateful - she was so lovely, her customer service was 10/10 and despite the little hiccups, she (and the rest of the staff) made our time at Evelyn's an absolute hoot!

El Jefe Birria NORTHERN QUARTER

El Jefes is an absolute gem inside Mala on Dame Street. If you’re craving some Mexican comfort food, this is the spot. The birria tacos are the star of the show - cheesy, flavour-packed and served with a rich consommé that takes them to the next level.

The burritos are stuffed with Mexican rice, creamy guac, pico de gallo and gooey melted cheese, and the rice bowls are a brilliant option if you’re skipping the tortilla - loaded with tender meat, rice and a smoky chipotle kick.

Every dish I tried was fresh, delicious and made with care. The team here really know what they’re doing. Highly recommend checking them out if you’re in Manchester, you won’t be disappointed!

Food was unbelievable, so tasty and flavourful. The service was a bit slow but having said that it was a Saturday evening about 8pm and it was absolutely packed.
The atmosphere is amazing, buzzy, great DJ and music, really ambient- good for date nights, meet ups with friends, family get-togethers, you name it.
Mala has so many restaurants under one roof there's something for everyone.
I'm definitely coming back to El Jefe Birria to try the rest of the menu!

We ordered 2 beef birria tacos and a chicken birria enchilada.
They tasted ok but not birria. Had more of an Italian / bolognese taste than it did Mexican.
Birria dip was more of an oily watery gravy rather than a thick, meaty sauce.
Salsa was nice.
Also, enchiladas had way too many onions which were rather unnecessary.

Always worth a try but Quite disappointing really.

I came here with some friends and both the beef and chicken fajita tacos were amazing! The meat was super tender and the other fillings were paired very well! The sauce was packed with flavour! Will definitely be coming back here x

I had to wait a long time for my food about 20 minutes.  Was very very very good.  I know I said a lot of times, but it was.  Great flavours, great textures well done.  I will be back as it may have actually been worth the weight.

Wonderful place for breakfast especially if staying at the Crown Plaza, as we have several times.
Not only is the food great, the ambience and decor is charming with its plants and each table having an old fashioned glass milk bottle with cute stainless steel cups for drinking water!
It’s a popular place so today we arrived as they opened in order to get a seat. It soon filled up. This place does a lot of takeaway breakfasts also. We were served by the lovely and friendly Josh and ordered the amazing French toast along with the Turkish eggs with chorizo. Coffees were great as well.
Service is polite and efficient and we’ll be back tomorrow!

Lovely place. Was buzzing when I went in for breakfast (about 8.30 on a weekday morning) but the service was really friendly and quick. Top notch coffee and great food. Decor is cool too. 100% recommend and much better than anything you'll find at Vic station.

The food is amazing and not expensive for the insanely good quality you get. The place is quite small though and there is always a huge queue. We waited for 20 mins in the rain but were given umbrellas and a menu. The guy outside managing the queue was very nice. However, I think they should consider expanding or opening more restaurants instead of having people waiting for 30 mins every day :)

The BEST food, service and dance music- my friend and I really enjoyed the steak sandwich and eggs and ‘shrooms as well as their delicious banana bread. Honestly, don’t miss it if you’re in Manchester and yes, the queue is so worth it. Thank you Thalia for a perfect first visit- we will be back!

visited Federal Cafe Bar on Saturday morning, and it was the best way to start my day. They serve a wonderful breakfast, great coffee, and the warmest smiles.
Special thanks to all the staff – it was a real pleasure meeting Harry with his beautiful smile.
The place is super cozy. I ordered a large cappuccino and their special French toast – both were amazing.

Ciao Neapolitan pizzeria is a nice cozy place to have pizza, dessert, and to get away from the rain and Cold. The calzone and pizza were fresh and tasty. The Cannolo dessert was nice as well. I would of given the place 5 stars, but the gentleman cooking the pizza was a tiny bit rude to me when I was taking pictures. I really liked the open kitchen concept and wanted to take pictures for the review but the gentleman did not like me taking the picture, which I totally understand. He just could have been nicer. Besides that, it is a nice place for pizza.

Lovely pizza place. Great pizzas, and great tiramisu.
The burrata pizzas are amazing, great toppings, great sauces, personally I would prefer the base of the pizzas to be a little crispier and more solid as it was a little floppy, but I guess that’s personal preference.
The pistachio tiramisu was delicious, great flavours, and you get to keep the tin which is a very nice touch.
100% recommend.

We popped in on a rainy day and were instantly warmed up by the incredible food and atmosphere. Started with the garlic cheese & spiced chicken bread – absolutely delicious and packed with flavour. Then came the showstopper: the special pizza with vodka base sauce, pepperoni, chilli threads, and burrata. Every bite was unreal, and the spicy honey drizzle took it to another level – a must-try!
Treated myself to a bottle of Montepulciano at £38. Not the cheapest, but totally worth it – smooth, rich, and the perfect pairing for the food.
The pizza was £16 and the special starter £11 – both great value for the quality.
I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. The staff were lovely, the food was unforgettable, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

For the price of the food you expect better but their is a huge lack of care in the food.
Wings and chicken in the burger came out cold! This is after waiting a bit (not long) for the food so you atleast expect it to come out hot and fresh.
Chicken tasted dry and some bits of the chicken and salad was hard to chew.

On top of that advertised was a spicy burger. If you're a place like that I expect the coating to be spicy. Not just dumped in some cheap hot sauce which it was. Same as the wings.

The frustration is you expect this kind of food at cheap chains but not a independent and with the kind of prices you are paying.

Absolutely a shambles of a place. They catfish people on Instagram with the way their food looks but once you're there it's utterly appalling. The chicken tasted like it had been cooked 2 days prior and tasted as dry as a lady who's not into you. Don't go, save your money!

The chicken and chips are quite a huge portion. The chicken is very flavorful and crispy. The Louisiana hot wings are a must try. Crispy and saucy, you have to get in there with your hands! Definitely worth multiple repeat visits.

For starters, the owner Enrique is Mexican, so he knows what he's doing 😃.

My go-to meal is the Quesadillas 🤤, I usually go for one with lamb, one with beef chipotle, and the third one fajitas.
Every dish is absolutely flavoursome, it transports me to México!

The tortillas are Corn based, except burritos 😉.

The habanero salsa is divine! And all the toppings are super fresh! My favourite: nopales and guacamole!

As mexican, this is my Go-to-ritual-tacos place! And I've invited all my friends to taste it!!

Absolutely delicious large burrito weighing like a small brick - come here if you are hungry! The burrito I had was also customisable with plenty of choice on fillings, sauce and even down to the tortilla used. You can have it spicy or mild depending on your preference. Good value, authentic mexican food. My only nehative would be that I found the service quite curt, it wasn't particularly busy, but a little friendliness goes a long way. Would recommend and will definitely return.

Really nice filling burrito with a can for 10.50 + location to get your valentina hot sauce. Gotta support small business. The pork with pineapple is really nice and moist. Honestly best but itto in town!

8 years ago I used to come to this place and have the biggest, tastiest burrito I’ve ever had. Understandably with the costs rising, they have felt the pinch over the years and that’s reflected when you visit. The portions have halved in size, very shy and strict with each of the ingredients in the burrito, boss looks stressed, staff looked scared of the boss. Used to be my go to when I went to town but unfortunately for me this place has gone downhill 🙁

Had the standard burrito meal deal. Paid cash got some tortilla chips with guacamole free. Really big burrito, dead tasty. You got a choice of 5 toppings on top of the salad and chicken . Delicious would really recommend

I visited Mala for a colleague's leaving lunch; it was the first time I've been since it became a "food court" of sorts.

I got a chicken wrap and chips deal from House of Habesha- look at how stuffed it is! The sauce inside was wonderfully creamy, too.

I had never had Habesha food before. Without a doubt, shiro is the best thing I have ever had. I dont know how I've gone this ling without injera. Thank you Ethiopia and Eritrea, and thank you House of Habesha, for introducing me to something I never thought was possible.

The food tastes great but the portions are diabolically small, £15 for the vegan plate, plenty of bread but hardly any food.

Love House of Habesha food especially the spicy chicken! So much variety and something to choose for everyone👏🏼 I always come when I’m in Manchester

Heard on the grapevine about this place serving real authentic yard food. Me and hubby turned up without a booking and got served straight away on a Saturday evening. Ordered the hench box and my gosh the food look gud and tasted even better (outstanding). True Caribbean cooking at its best. WOW!  We were visiting from Leeds and defo have Pull Up on our tick list for future visits.  Nice to meet Sharon and the team. Pull Up for now!

From the moment you step in, the vibrant atmosphere and warm hospitality set the tone. The jerk chicken was perfectly spiced, smoky, and tender, while the plantains were golden and addictive. Every bite felt like a quick trip to the islands. Whether you’re a longtime lover of Caribbean cuisine or just curious, Pull Up is a must-try – flavourful, authentic, and absolutely unforgettable. Only my Aunty Jean cooks better and she is a hard act to follow!

Well what can I say. If you want authentic Caribbean food this is the place to come!!! Food, service and atmosphere is a 10/10! Do not hesitate get down to this great venue you will not be disappointed!

Me and my partner stumbled on this place when walking up the street. I am so glad we decided to go in! The food was fantastic - we ordered the hench box and the health box - it was authentic and quite simply, delicious. We had a wine and rum punch to drink - the rum punch was very good. The service was brilliant. The vibe was great. We loved everything about it. Even the decor and the music gives it such an upbeat feel! Also it was nice to meet you Sharon! Keep doing what you are doing in there :)

Very friendly atmosphere and staff. Whilst I enjoyed my breakfast brioche burger, I found it a tad expensive at just under £12 with no chips or salad. Would I go again? Yes, there's so much choice on the menu. I need to try more. 😋

Absolutely delicious food. The Korean burger was quite possibly one of the best vegan burgers I’ve had! Great flavour, very satisfying, and it might seem like a small thing but the paper wrap it came in did a good job of keeping it contained and stopped it getting too messy. The mac and cheese was very creamy and tasty, and my dining companion really enjoyed the vegan pork and apple burger. Overall a very enjoyable and indulgent meal, would definitely recommend!

This has to be my new favourite spot for vegan food in MCR city centre!

Good Vegan Place, kind of hidden and hard to find.
You got to go one level down from the street, small opening with stairs going down. Had to do 2 circles of the place as was looking for Wholesome Junkies signboard.
Food was excellent.
Ambience was calm and relaxed.
Had to wait long for the food, but was worth it.
Must visit Vegan place in Manchester, one of those.

4 of us had brunch today and the experience was fantastic. Taylor served us - he was absolutely exceptional, recommended food, was friendly but professional, warm and funny - he couldn’t have done more for us. I work in the hospitality industry - he could give a masterclass in it. There was also an Irish girl who served us our drinks - she was brilliant aswell.
I had the chorizo benny and it was delicious, the espresso martini’s were also top class. Would really recommend.

Amazing food and drinks! Definitely try the pancakes, they’re so good and filling. Also loved the eggs royale very much. Lovely servers as well. Will definitely come back again!

Absolutely love Cafe 19! The coffee is amazing – super smooth and full of flavour. The place has such a great vibe – they’ve got everything you could wish for and every kind of coffee you can think of.

Big thanks to Taylor for the lovely service – he’s genuinely one of the friendliest people I’ve met in a café. Super attentive, always smiling, and just makes you feel really welcome.

We visited this plays in October and we've had the sweetest, nicest and very authentic waiter. I fell in love with Taylor. He was the best and made the day even better ❤️. His kind and funny way was above average. He even made sure that we could taste black pudding - sublim service.

Me and my partner have been coming to 19 Cafe for a while now and it’s become our go-to brunch spot.

There’s usually a bit of a wait for a table, especially on Sundays, but we don’t mind – it’s always worth it. The food is always delicious and incredible quality, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the staff are great. A special mention to Taylor, who looks after us nearly every time we visit. He’s a real credit to the team – fun, friendly, and super approachable, which really adds to the experience.

Worst food ever.

I was at Piccadilly with my colleagues enjoying the Christmas market when I came across this food truck. The long queue made me assume the food must be good, so I decided to try it. I ordered jollof rice, goat curry, and chicken, which cost around £11–£12.

Unfortunately, it was the worst decision. The food was so overwhelmingly salty that I couldn’t eat it and had to throw it away, despite being hungry. I genuinely tried to tolerate it, but it was impossible. I wish I had checked their Google reviews before buying.

As a Nigerian, I know exactly what jollof rice should taste like, and this was nowhere close. I was extremely disappointed.

For anyone who may have tried this truck and felt disappointed trying African or Caribbean cuisine for the first time, please know that this is not what our food tastes like. Authentic African and Caribbean food is far better than this.

If you want it even sharper, more emotional, or more neutral/professional (for Google reviews), I can tweak the tone.

Been there many times, they serve the food as good as it was before. Recommend their jerk chicken, rice & coleslaw salad combo.

I bought the large £11 which said came with salad but when I got to the till I was charged £12.50 I assume this was for the added salad at the end but wasn’t told the extra price? It says by the box deal it comes with it!

The meat was tough and a lot of skin and fat. Didn’t enjoy it at all wasted most of it :( won’t go there again

Curry goat tasted expired and the flavour was appaling, plantain had most definitely gone off and was swimming in so much oil - the food was very unpresentable. The plantain was very squashed and looked as tho its been trampled on. This is not something you give away for free let alone to a paying customer. I couldnt even finish my food

A Nice Sip

For me it's the best bubble tea I've had in Manchester so far. Very friendly and helpful staff if you are not sure what you are looking for or how to customise your orders. Great flavours and good quality ingredients

Go to is the white peach oolong tea if I’m in a fruit tea (no milk) mood.

I went there around 12.30 PM. As an Asian people who is always drink the bubble tea. I can say this place is one of the best bubble milk tea in Manchester. The bubble was really nice while the tea is not too sweet. Similar with Taiwan bubble milk tea i've ever had.

So disappointed. Been here for a few time and been my top choice for boba in Manchester. However I ordered 25% sugar today and got a fully sweetened milk-tea! It is so sweet. Moreover, the milk powder is not properly melted as seen in the picture!
Just awful. Waste of money. I’m so disappointed by the quality control! Avoid at all cost if you want a consistent taste milk tea. Disgusting!

I love their drinks. But had a bubble waffle yesterday that was soggy. I went back to ask if bubble waffles should be crispy. They have offered me a new one but explained it would be the same. They have explained the reason that the matcha bubble waffle was soggy it’s because I chose the matcha flavor. The original one or the one with the cheese will be more crispy.  Wouldn’t recommend this flavor as I was feeling like I was eating some moist dough.

They were open on Sundays, and I was curious about the hip music playing, so I stopped by.
They advertised themselves as a pizza place, but they had a wide selection of drinks, and because it was Christmas season, the atmosphere was incredibly lively.
I ordered the Sunday Roast, which was delicious along with the beer.
It was even better with the variety of vegetables.

Came here with my mum before a gig on a Friday evening. Fantastic, quick service despite being busy - especially from Hope, who had a lovely chat with me about craft beer! Excellent food as well... Will be returning sooner rather than later 🙂

Loved the vibe, and the food was absolutely delicious! Definitely give it a try for the food — it’s worth it. It does get pretty crowded on weekends and service can be a bit slow, but the staff still manages things and And the chef definitely doesn’t compromise on taste!

Food was so tasty! Got 50% with first table and couldn’t not recommend more. Happy hour £6 margs were perfect for the hot weather.The truffle tots are so moreish, be it absolutely smothered in Parmesan, and their slices divine. Will come again.

Great place for Tequila cocktails (and other drinks) in Manchester's Northern Quarter. Some great food too, all cooked fresh with loads of veggie options. Caitlin was our host and looked after us admirably. DJ in corner chucking out a few sounds to make it a lively atmosphere.....definitely one to come back too!

We visited this week and loved it. The space is tiny and can only can accommodate a few people at a time but you are able to order online for take away. The food was tasty and the only thing I would change would be the mac and cheese as it was not really my kind of taste. The staff were friendly. The only downside was the fact that we had to wait for over 30 mins for the food to arrive

My husband and I visited today for the first time and had an absolutely incredible experience! We both ordered the Surf Box with lobster tail and king prawns — the food was outstanding. Everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The service was friendly and the atmosphere really welcoming. Can’t wait to go back!

My best friend and I dined at Soul & Surf on Friday and thought our meal was flavoursome. I ordered lobster and prawns main with 2 sides and my friend ordered the salmon and prawns main with 2 sides. My friend would of liked a larger salmon filet as he only received a slim one. The fried and jollof rice were delicious as were the s&s fries.

I would return to this restaurant again thats for sure as I enjoyed my meal.

We travelled to Manchester for a day out and decided to eat at Soul and turf. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. The Mac and cheese was delicious, the gizzard and Dodo were soft spicy sweet. The meat and seafood was tender and seasoned well. The jollof Rice was okay but better with the pepper sauce. The only thing that let it down was the drinks on the menu were limited for example they Didn’t have zobo. But due to everything else, I would definitely be back.

i enjoyed the different things you get to try in the arabic breakfast platter with the samosas being my favourite so, for £10, this was very good value! the eggs were unfortunately cold though - hope this was a blip as it would’ve been much nicer hot. the pide was tasty too but a quite a small portion despite being only slightly cheaper than the platter. we had the pistachio tiramisu was delicious to end which was so tasty and not too sweet😊

I came across this place while looking for a spot that serves Karak tea. The Karak was good, and the wraps were tasty as well, but the prices were shockingly high.

In my country, I could get Karak and wraps (chapati) from the most expensive restaurant for almost half the price and from a similar range of restaurant for less than 20% of what I paid here. The wrap was very small, and even though it tasted good, the portion and quality do not justify the cost.

What a lovely hidden gem! The tea was sensational as well as the full breakfast! I’d agree with other reviews - the pide was a little overpriced for the size it is, however that was the only drawback. The atmosphere was stunning and the food was top quality! Looking forward to visiting again :)

I went here with my family as I was intrigued with the layout. Fortunately it was only us as the space is small and intimate. I liked the cushion seating which gave the atmosphere a Middle Eastern vibe.

When the food came I was pleasantly surprised with how filling the Arab Breakfast was; it was just right not too bloated and overly full.

The hummus, bread, falafel were all very tasty, freshly made, moist and fluffy.

We shared the Tiramisu and it was divine ! ♥️

The red velvet cookie was absolutely amazing! It was so soft and had a rich white chocolate centre, couldn't get enough of it 🤤 we also really enjoyed the Brownie, rich chocolate with pieces of Kinder 👌🏽 the Lotus Brownie was also so good especially as it was warm and gooey and paired so perfectly with the ice cream, not too chocolatey so a perfect balance! Can't forget to mention the cookie pie! Never had something like this before, the filling was a rich nutella flavour, so creamy and delicious with the cookie!

Amazing! We ordered the blonde, a biscoffe brownie and a caramel and biscoffe cookie slice. All were beautiful to look but most importantly they tasted delicious! The cookie slice was my personal favourite. Younger lady there was fantastic, customer service was brilliant. Would recommend

Incredible cookies and brownies! You get your money’s worth as they’re very dense and have tons of filling.

It’s difficult to walk past their selection of cookies, brownies and bakes. I decided on a Milkybar Brownie, which was alright. My sweet tooth definitely rates the fares of other Manchester bakeries more highly! The server was too busy talking to someone else on the stall to pay me much attention.

Amazing little treats, I rarely buy cookies but this place definitely gets my money.

Firstly, the food took ages. It was cold when it arrived. The noodles are somehow really salty while at the same time being completely devoid of any flavour. The crispy beef strips are like something you’d give to a dog.

The building has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were welcoming and polite throughout mine and my friend's visit.

The food is pricey, with our total bill for 2 meals, 2 desserts, and 2 drinks coming to just over £80 (inc. service fee) but the price is reflected in the quality.

The mains were ordered were the salmon feta bagel, and the steak frittes, and for dessert we got both a slice of the honey cake and cheesecake. All the food was wonderful, and the crisp apple draught cider was genuinely the nicest cider I've ever had, and cider is my go-to for a drink with a meal.

Wonderful experience overall. My only complaint would be having the 12.5% tip being put on the bill by default, as tips shouldn't be an expectation but rather a courtesy to show valued service. I intended on tipping but having it as a default isn't a practice I like, especially when anxious people won't be willing to confront or question it.

Didn't eat it there, but bartenders was really kind in the morning.  I just waiting my check-in to the hostel next door. Nice espresso, real Italian coffee machine. Perfect place to start exploring Manchester, best time to visit 8-11PM on Friday. IPA, cider is ok. It was live music on Thursday.

Love this place for drinks. Tried the food last night. Calamari with Katsu curry was lovely. Steak was cooked well. Pork dishes needed a sauce with it, far too dry. Basque cheesecake was far too rich, really didn't enjoy that. Good selection of drinks and great atmosphere. Overall 8/10

We wanted breakfast and whilst the selection was average one of use could sub some of items so end up wasting food. Seating was shocking but since we were in they have redone boths. Service was average

Waited around 45 mins for a terribly cooked piece of meat. It said slow cooked when it clearly wasn’t. Chewy and difficult to pull off the bone. It was intended to make own tacos but they were like rubber. Terrible for the price.
The battered squid and curried slaw was good and chips were cooked as normal.
The meal was for my Mum’s birthday and really set the day off on the wrong foot. For that price, quality should be much better. I won’t be returning, although the breakfast does look good.

THE BEST sandwich I've ever had. I got the lemon grass chicken special & it did not disappointment. The chicken was moist & flavourful, the salad components (pickled carrot & daikon) accompanied it perfectly and the chilli added a nice amount of heat. Staff were friendly & polite and the dining area is kept clean & tidy. Will be back for another!

I have Been wanting to come to this place for a while, well the hype I had was worth it. I came inside about 12:05 (opens at 12) ordered the chicken tikka PARM and I was order 14! Minutes after opening, this is the sign of a popular place I guess. Shortly after my number was called and I indulged into this wonderful creation. Everything was just right the flavours, the portion, the bread its was just perfect. Serving staff were also very friendly.

I rarely leave negative feedback, but the lemongrass chicken banh mi sandwich was disgusting by all means.

The massive, fatty chicken thigh with cucumber didn't seem like a good fit for a sandwich, and I wonder if it was tested before being served on the menu. While the presentation was appealing, the sandwich wasn't worth the price at all.

Italian-American subs/hoagies. Small menu but there may be an option to create your own or modify. The menu seems to change from time to time as the choices were different to those posted a year ago. Also prices have increased slightly since then; I paid £14.50 for a sandwich and can of Sprite.

The sandwich I had was ham, slaw and pickles with mustard. The filling is extremely generous, justifying the high price. It was very very tasty.

The pork is listed as gabagool but it's nothing like gabagool (dry cured capicola), it was a juicy and delicious ham. They have used the word for effect and since most people have never lived in the Philly/ Jersey/ New York area (I have), they will probably get away with it.

It was busy when I visited (Sunday 2.15pm) but the sandwich was ready in less than five minutes and the person on the front counter brought it over to me which was a nice touch.

To summarise: expensive for a sandwich, but justified by the amount of filling.
Basic seating but clean. Will definitely be going again.. and again..

Great little spot for a quick bite or takeout.  We ordered the spicy Italian and enjoyed the fresh flavour of the ingredients, and the soft bread used.  We attended approximately 20 minutes after opening and it was already busy with orders.  The staff were friendly, and we liked to see the sandwiches being made behind the pay desk.

Went to their newly opened restaurant and ordered the army stew which tasted incredible! It is an amazing option to spilt amongst four people as the portions are huge and very filling! They also adjusted the recipe for us to make it halal :) The staff's hospitality was beyond friendly as they kept checking on us and even offered sides for the meal! Would highly recommend checking out, thank you again bangga staff for the amazing experience!

We had to go down and try these viral Cheese Pound Coin and honestly we loved it! It was like a soft sweet pancake, the cheesedog is also a must try along with the Tteokbokki, really thought this was quite cheap considering its Christmas Markets!

Went to their new store on 28 Church street and got the army stew, the staff was so polite and friendly it made the experience so delightful and the place was very clean! The food was absolutely delicious!!!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for good Korean food!!

I had the awsome hq. Burger was very tasty but it was mainly because of the sauces than the beef. Beef was tender but looked abit on cheap side for the price and wasnt very stong tasting. The chicken was so tender yet crispy on outside and tasty. Best chicken i had in a long time. If the beef patties improve it will be the perfect burger. Chips abit too hard for me personally but still tasty. We will definitely be back. Thanks for the lovely lunch 🙂

This place never misses when it comes to a proper burger fix — left rubbing my belly and grinning like I just won a food challenge 😩😂.

The place was empty and we got seated straight away... but to say we were 1 of 3 other couples in the whole place our order seemed to take forever to be fulfilled, even the fries were over seasoned (quite salty), the coating on the chicken burger I ordered was close to being burnt and we left wishing we'd been elsewhere to eat

The Guinness was a decent pint though 🤷🏼‍♂️
